Staff super helpful,good breakfast,central location,cool balcony.
Fab location really helpful staff fantastic recomendations !! Clean rooms essential air con. Would totally stay again
Breakfast was ok. Some fruit, cereal, bread, ham and cheese and then the usual sweet things! Staff very helpful! Very central if you prefer that! Lots of nice, old cafés/restaurants in the area! Almost in front of the hotel was conveniently an office for buying bustickets if you are travelling from BA by bus!
Wifi didn't work in the room when I was there and the room was extremely noisy, mostly from traffic on the street. A very big hotel with lots of guests but only one working in the reception which could bring long lines for checking in and out.
No WiFi No management Towels Noisy
The rooms were basic but clean and huge. Breakfast was fantastic and cheap. The staff were very friendly and helpful, generally I would say you couldn't get a better location in BA. Unlike many hotels who offer WiFi but when you arrive tell you a storm has disrupted the service this hotel had a good connection. For a budget traveller you couldn't do much better.
The old school elevates were very slow and one was out of order completely for the entire time we were there. So if you are old or unable to walk up 8 flights of stairs check that the elevates are fixed. On the other hand if you are a health freak this is the hotel for you.
I thought it was a good value for the location. I just needed to sleep so the amenities were not critical. Check your internet quickly on arrival in your room. On the 7th floor, at least where I was, I could not pull a good signal.
It might be the room I was in but aside from the color of the paint, it looked nothing like the room in the photo. Of course it was a small single...but not at all maintained. It was clean but worn.
it was very noisy, wifi is non existent and bed cover and wall full of stains. you'd be better off staying in a hostal
Location is perfect, staff is friendly
No breakfast included in price, although they can offer it for an additional fee, I would recommend to eat out
Location is good.
i had a wonderful room, high ceiling, French window to the boulevard, never tried breakfast as there are nice cafes nearby. Internet was decent, bathroom ok, very clean. Room was basic, but comfortable and spacious enough. Staff were very polite, but some had very limited English knowledge.
I liked absolutely nothing about it and checked out of it after the first night.
Well let's see, I will give you, that it is cheap to stay here. But the old axiom you get what you pay for is true with this place. torn curtains, no light bulbs in lamps, dirty carpets, and a general mustiness to the rooms. Also, it appears to be a fire trap. If there was a fire in this place, you would not get out. Our room was at the end of a very long hallway with multiple hallways with no exit signs. The elevator is noisy, old, and rickety. If you let me stay here free, I would have to take a pass on it. Also, the lobby is a mess and the personnel, well, not much better.
location and the very well meaning but not knowledge young man who was at the desk when we checked in.
the place was falling down with water stains everywhere. Even the renovated rooms are poorly done(plaster falling off the walls, ceilings VERY poor lighting in rooms. The staff couldn't provide us with a city map nor advice re dining, money changing, etc.
Disgusting. Seems to be in a horror movie. The sheet have stamps from previous guests and hairs. When got there the room they gave me was unbearable. I changed but second one was even worse. Moquette full of dust and stamps of dirt. Toilette is really scary. Breakfast forget about it i tried on day one and i was about to trow up with the coffee. Also the ham, cheese and medialunas (croissants) are terrible quality. Also there are no curtains for all the windows. And at any hour of the day is super noisy. I've always been very careful with my reviews and this one is to avoid other people to be in the same terrible conditions.
Hotel bem localizado e confortavel
o WIFI não estava funcionando
Stuff was very friendly and willing to assist.
Wi-fi signal is realy poor and is not available all the time
At the checkout you get a bill 30% more than it's shown at booking.com due to taxes. In all hotels I booked here before the price was exactly the same to penny. That's quiet disturbing when you think you gotta pay 300 usd but for real they charge 500. Hope this one will help someone to avoid this situation.
Noisy, bad air conditioning (cold all the time). The bathroom is super cold.
The staff is really nice, specially Antonella who is always available to answer your questions with a smile and help you with your reservation. The location is perfect near 9 of July avenue and Lima metro station. Very good buffet breakfast, spacious rooms with clean and comfortable bathrooms and a great bed. We really enjoy our stay.
Great size room, helpful staff who are doing their best despite the state of the hotel's facilities (i.e. weak wifi, datedness). Breakfast is cool and we slept well in this oasis at the middle of the big metropolis. Great value for money!
Tired rooms and overall interior. Wifi almost non-existent until the staff has gone away and reset the system which seemed to help but overall not appropriate for such a huge complex.
Breakfast offers great variety of fresh bakery. Maybe no sausages and eggs as some americans prefers, but hotel offers a very healthy argentinian breakfast. Special mention to reception staff that tried during hours to find a taxi the day of the final match of World Cup to return to the airport and tried to convince taxis in the street, but finally recommended a public bus and showed the bus stop. Thanks to staff Iarrived to the airport although the world city was collapsed. Small but new bathroom. very clean
Bet in Individual room is very very small and blanket very thin, so first night I must sleep wearing all my clothes. Second night staff gave another blanket and the airconditioning was activated at 30degrees and I finally was able to sleep. Street too noise. Maintenance poor: walls paint missing, TV remote control taped to avoid batteries displacement...
Nice old building with high ceilings. Very convenient city area.
Horrible breakfast: the pastries were at least one day old... and the day after they were two days old - they did not renew thr plates. Also breakfast room was unattended. There was no blanket on my bed. I had to ask three times to have one... that I had to pick up personally from the reception.
Perfect location, good value for money
Hotel looks a bit outdated
the curtains were not clean, not a feeling of cleanliness, it was cold.... not working the air conditionned.
Rooms were damp and dirty, fleas in beds and raw sewage flooded our bathroom and two occasions .
