- staff is very kind and helpful
- the noise from the stairs that could been heard from the room - the room had no windows - if you have to go to the bathroom you are forced to swith off the conditioned air
- super-friendly staff and nice decor
- practically no wifi anywhere - loud place, drunk people disrespectful of whether you sleep or not - dangerous neighbourhood, looks empty and much to my horror, got assalted with a knife and robbed only on the second day
Clean, quiet, comfortable, walking distance to most attractions. Staff were super friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was simple however if your up late it does run out!
There was a notice board in the kitchen showing all of the activities that were going on, either inside the hostel (like free Spanish lesson) or places to go outside. Great for solo travellers.
Not enough sockets in the room but there were mini phone-charging lockers downstairs to use free.
The rooftop terrace is a plus and the building architecture has a nice touch which give a good vibe. People (staff and guests) where very friendly. The location is great for the neighborhood (San Telmo) but I would recommend Palermo instead.
First, forget the pool. It was broken and dirty, and it is closer to the size of a bathtub. Two other things kill this hotel: the hotel policy does not allow guest to brink their own alcool. Sure, the hotel bar is extremely cheap, but what if your drink is not on the menu , And what if you want to bring a beer on the rooftop ? Forget it. 2) the old elevator which make a constant and loud noise in all the rooms (the rooms are around a 5 story patio with the elevator in the middle).
It was written there would be wifi in every room, but the connection was horrible. You had hardly anywhere wifi! It was written there is a pool, but again just lie. There was a pool but without water! Too much rules!
located safe area
wifi was not very stable
At the first time we booked Ostinatto for last night in BA only, @ our other stays in other hotel, but we cancelled other hotel @ booked 3@2 nights more in Ostinatto ,because of the PEOPLE from reception, who wellcome you after some minutes you make a reservation via booking, we had all our guestions answered online - perfect. We stayed in Loft @ in private room on the 6. floor with private terrace @ I really cannot say which one was better, both were clean, comfortable, loft is bigger @ has more citchen staff( glasses, coffee@tea cups, etc). Breakfast is basic, but not bad, you can eat as much as you want. But real "treasure" are the 3 stars (Vero, Pedro @ Mar) from recepton, they' ll answer any question @ help with any issue you have. This is a perfrct place to stay in BA, dont look for others.
Only one - our vacation was over @ we have to leave
Really friendly helpful staff. San Telmo is a really interesting base and close to all amenities. Helpful with tours and other info.
Good hostel. No issues.
The female dorm was really comfortable. The rooftop terrace, the 5 hour happy hour at the bar. The decoration, the kitchen was big and there was a big dining table. Free tango class, the staff were quite helpful and it was a very nice hostel one of the nicest I've stayed in and it has so many facilities.
The price was quite high for a dormitory. Everyone in my room seemed to pay a lower rate than me and booking.com doesn't include the tax so when you pay it seems expensive compared to the other hostels.
We had the Double Room Suite, amazing room with nice balcony, value for money could not be better! Best room of our 3-week-journey.
The location, the old(in a good way) building with high ceilings and big wooden doors, the friendly staff and multiple places to relax and interact with others. Bonus points if you stay in one of the rooms with windows and balcony.
The overall impression was a bit decadent... As if it were an impressive structure a few years back but now is struggling a bit to maintain everything in mint condition.
Open plan of our room, services and facilities, air conditioning
Kitchen left a bit to be desired, organising a taxi service is a bit of a rip off
very nice and helpful staff, cool vibe
Bad bathroom and showers, the rooms are noisy (the walls are glass doors, so you hear everything going on in the hostel)
The hostel location is good for walking and sightseeing Microcentro and nearby there are plenty of pretty restorans.Good position in the barrio of San Telmo, away from unsafe parts. The hostel is clean, well organized and has a good bar. The staff is ready to help and provide useful information.
Outside the tourist season, the location is not pleasant at night, it's a little lonely in that part of the street. Terrace on the roof is not exactly a place of gathering, because the bar is on the ground floor.
Very friendly staff, great view from the roof, very nice location
The staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms and the bathrooms are big, the breakfast is ok, and the location is good !
The rooms are not that clean, the wifi is quite poor, the price is high for this type of hostel
Very friendly and helpful staff Lots of free activities Quality breakfast, ample kitchen space Nice guest bar, you can make friends very easily Secure accommodation Easy access to free internet and wifi Nice street view Best location: 3 block away to the well known Sunday market (where you can find MAFALDA shop, have a photo with statue, Tango dancing, etc). Walking distance to Rosa Casada. Love it! Strongly recommended
noise insulation between floors is not very good. But this also bring the atmosphere like everyone around you too, you won't be lonely.
Room size is big, especially love the studio room. Room has hair dryer, hot water bottle, microwave and fridge. All time have shampoo and shower gel. Has a balcony too. Lovely!
Breakfast needs improvement. The coffee is terrible,
Activities, workers were nice and helpful, the architecture of this hostel!
Small rooms, hostel not clean, old furnitures...
Friendly place for a solo traveller with nice communal areas. The staff were lovely.
Some rooms don't have windows - email in advance to ask for one that does!
helpfull staff, location, i had nice balcony at my dorm room.
it could have been more cleaner and modern.
