Nice reception. Tourist areas in walking distance
Poor room. Staff did not speak english. Chaos at checkout as there was too less staff - one receptionist for twenty persons. Area around the hotel did not feel safe during night.
the stuff were amazing try to help and were very kindly and friendly location was good but the area around the hotel dirty
room very small the hotel look new but stil the wall look dirty Breakfast very poor and served in small coffee plate.beside it is not organized and dirty . The nighborhood does not feel safe. Very neglected area and a lot of garbage every were
The staff was funny and didn't give any attitude when we complained because clearly they knew that the hotel was at fault. Tried to rectify everything.
We arrived late afternoon only to be told there was a problem with our room and that we would be re located to another hotel, when we refused the staff then said there was one room available that they could give us, we take the room, once inside the room we could not breath because of the smell of cigarette smoke, we call down to reception and tell them the issue and they tell us that this is a non smoking hotel so they don't understand. They then tell us they have another room for is but with 2 single beds instead of a King, I ask them if they can just connect the beds together they said we could do that. We took the room and connected the beds together ourselves and the rest is history. Good location of you want to stay in San Telmo area but in my opinion if you are visiting buenos aires Palermo soho is the area to stay.
The hotel is in excellent location just 2 blocks away from Plaza de Mayo and still relatively quiet. It has a modern clean interior.
The hotel lacks a bit of personal touch. The rooms are modern but a bit minimalistic. Apart rom the bed and 2 bedside tables there was only 1 single plastic chair in the room. The lighting in the bathroom was bad.
availability and competence of staff
the very good location of the hotel is not fully exploited, as the building has been refurbished on the cheap
Hotel is very close to historical centrum Buenos. Puerto Madera and San Telmo main place also to reach walking with 10 kin. Tango restaurant oposite side of street, (where breakfast is served). One block to subway. Great breakfast. Helpful staff.
Not enough people in reception- long cue to check out in the morning. Small rooms, need of renovation. Surrounding looks a bit dangerous in the night, but we were not afraid to go out for dinner and there is security outside.
Location, comfortable large room
Bathroom was not well cleaned when we arrived, breakfast was limited in choices
Wifi is good and the lobby is nice. A few receptionists speak good English. Location is central but I would rather walk more than being in this noisy neighbourhood.
The street outside is extremely noisy that I barely get any sleep. There is a restaurant just opposite where they perform singing until around midnight. The pillows were uncomfortable. Facilities are the worst compared to other hotels I stayed in Buenos Aires, the bathroom is especially small. The room is extremely dark that most people hang out in the lobby.
The rooms were a disgrace, less than 1 star equivalent. The breakfast was totally disgusting. The first room that I was sent to had an unmade bed--total disaster. This was at the Unique Central plaza hotel.
The room could have more light. No confortable space in the room.
Location & comfort
No tea & coffee in room
- the location is nice, very central. In my opinion this area is also totally safe (in several reviews I saw people writing the opposite). The worst thing that can happen in BA is pick pocketing, very few people get robbed there. In this regard its much safer than Brazil for example
-when we arrived, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and they had no room for us but that we would receive an upgrade to another hotel nearby of the same kind. I insisted on seeing the prices and hotels in the web first, before being transferred there and it turned out that the suggested hotels were cheaper or ofthe same price and the same level of comfort. not only didn't they have a room, they also wanted to fool us! I therefore insisted on staying in the hotel, and all of the sudden there was room for us. My guess is that they gave us the room of somebody else, who didn't arrive yet and who was therefore forced to transfer. -the walls are thin, you hear the stuff talking on walky talkies all the time during the day through the doors - water in the shower sometimes took several minutes to get hot - overall the hotel is ok, but for this price you should expect better things - rooms are small - breakfast is of average quality. the plates are as big as coffee cups, I never saw this in another hotel! breakfast stops at 10am which I find to be very early, especially for BA where lunchtime starts earliest at 1pm

Convenient location. Clean. Bathroom small but shower hot with reasonable pressure. Breakfast was at the restaurant across the road and was sufficient; pastries, breads, fruit, cereal, eggs. Staff were very helpful and polite.
The hotel is on a corner and there is a restaurant with a Tango show and a bar across the road. Our room window faced that street so we did get a lot of outside noise. Also noise within the hotel carries throughout. Our room was at the end of the corridor but we heard people talking and walking, TVs, doors banging and the lift. Saying this, it usually quietened down after midnight except on weekend where there was still outside noise at 4am. I sleep with ear plugs but could still hear noise inside and out.
Location is excellent. You are very close to major attractions. It wasn't mentioned in the terms, but I was given free WiFi. Receptionists are nice and friendly. I found a good deal on booking.com website as well. Since I had paid for a double room, they gave me two entrance cards (alas cleaners didn't even give me supplies enough for one person).
Cleaning women take liberties. Bathroom supplies go down if you don't use them one day. They assume that you don't need them. I had to request receptionist to ask them to give me basic things (shampoo). I often had to leave notes in Spanish requesting them to leave me towel. For nearly seven days, they didn't change the bed sheet and did not clean the floor. I ended up buying my own shampoo and body wash. They saw that and stopped supplying things altogether. Be strict with them and complain. I did not complain enough and only requested to the cleaners, which they often iqnored.
Great location with a fabulous cafe across the street.
This modern hotel is in a perfect location. The staff have been very helpful and friendly. We loved being 5mis walking to San telmo and the pink house. All hotels should take note, as here, is how it should always be done.
Personnel is kind
That I coud hardly sleep due to the havy noise other guests were doing on my floor abut 1 am , which woke me up. It took them about an our to stop them , I didn t have even a pencil to write nor a desk for my notebook..It cant be cmpared wit Moreno Buenos AiresHotel at the same rate
Muy bien ubicado y muy bonito
Las habitaciones son muy simples
Welcoming staff and the price.
There was no coffee or tea arrangement for the rooms. Fixtures fell down as soon as I tried to open the blinds. Bathroom bulb was fused and I had to use desk lamp for brush and trim beard. Breakfast arrangement was in a restaurant across the street where the hotel is, it was not great.
Location and breakfast were brilliant. Loved our stay
Was a bit noisy
Location was great.
The hotel was disorganised. Whilst we booked Unique Hotel San Telmo via booking.com on the last night the hotel informed us that this hotel was booked out and they moved us to another hotel, Unique Hotel Madero. This hotels location was not as convenient, the air conditioning wasn't working in our room, so we had to change rooms... However the second rooms air conditioner also did not work. The bed was also not made properly, ie no fitted sheet, only a top sheet. When we went to pay for our stay we were charged more than we expected... As on booking.com the price was in us dollars and the exchange rate they charged us to convert it to Pesos was well above the official exchange rate. Ie the official exchange rate for USD/pesos is 1:8, however they claimed that their exchange rate was 1:9.5 and therefore demanded more pesos.
very friendly staff, always willing to help
Clean and modern rooms, good location,
The staff was friendly and the room was big enough
We could hear our neighbours, very thin walls. Bathroom was a bit small and breakfast was not great.
