New chic hotel; very trendy location in the Palermo Soho area. Delicious Peruvian/Italian restaurant Very courteous and helpful staff !

Because all rooms face either the street or the 'open ceiling' restaurant, It gets too noisy at night until closing time. We would suggest investing in double glass for windows for a bit more comfort,for 'early riser' guests. Also, when using the shower, water spills out to washroom.

People/staff & bartender. Great location.

Too hot in room #1. No control of fan or AC. Smoking.

Boxes in the bathroom are too open so everytime I had a shower, I had to be very careful not to flood the bathroom

I can not find anything that I did not like about the Palermitano hotel.

Pablo on front desk was the best. Recommended an amazing restaurant just a few blocks away that was a fraction of the price of any of the "tourist" restaurant and probably the second best steak we had on our trip. Location is also great. Also first time ever that I hotel I booked on booking contacted me before arrival. Usually you arrive and they haven't even bothered to load your reservation on their systems. Would stay here again if coming back to BA

The roof top pool would be be best described as a kids pool. It's tiny but still functional for chilling out.

The location was great in the heart of Palermo. Felt very safe. Good breakfast. Hotel was hip and funky in a good way. Great restaurant. Rooftop Pool was nice.

We arranged for airport pick up and no one was there when we arrived. When we called the hotel from the Airport the desk staff on duty did not speak any English and our Spanish was not sufficient so we took a cab at twice the price. We booked a suite the top room and we were put in a standard the lowest room with no explanation. Because we stayed for five nigjts this was a bummer When questioned I was told there were no suites available but we could move thw fourth night which we declined as we were settled in. Tthey did adjust the bill but only after we asked. As well the location is noisy being next to a club so two of the nights we were kept awake until the early morning by people in the street. We were not able to rely on the staff for accurate information about tourist attractions, bus info and restaurants.

The service of the staff makes a stay at the Palermitano an unforgetable experience. We live in an age where service is often spoken of but rarely delievered. We found Pablo and Celina to be not only friendly but accomodating as to pretty much every aspect of our one week stay. We absolutely had a tremendous week with our son who spent 3 nights in our room as he had been studying abroad for the past 6 months in ba. He even ate breakfast with us numerous times during our week there. Upon checking out I asked? What do I owe you for my son? There answer: "theres no additional charge". I thought that was pretty amazing. I could go on about the service but lets just say you will not be disappointed if you decide to stay here. The rooms were clean and nice, and an air conditioner that worked perfectly. The bathrooms are all done in marble and ours even had a bathtub which my wife used a couple of times. We had a nice room on the street side 3rd floor. I have read reviews that say it was too noisy to sleep due to the resturant Santa Cruz and discoteque which share walls with the hotel. Seriously, we ate late around 10 pm, like most argentines, and by the time we crawled into bed around 1 am I could hear faintly some music but it felt more like white noise to me and I fell right asleep. All things considered this is a very comfortable boutique hotel with a great vibe and a very accomodating staff in a lively part of Palermo I would most definitely return.

Really not much to say here. I guess the approximately 8-9 block walk to the subte (subway) stop at plaza italia. It didn't effect me much because most every place we ate was within walking distance, and usually if we went downtown we took a cab.

Very clean, friendly staff, and one of the best restaurants in town

Internet connection was very bad. Howevere, I can guve credit whether this is a common problem. They said they were having troubles due to some restoration work they were doing in the building these days. On the other hand, it would be nice if they had a gym.

Nice place, rooftop pool is small but great to sit and have a drink in. Breakfast was good. If you plan to stay out partying until around 5am every night this is your place. The staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, the people in past reviews mentioning noise are right. I have stayed in a few hotels now in ba. All have some traffic noise which I can handle, but there is a nightclub two doors up. Constant loud talking and deep bass I can not. We mentioned the noise reviews when we arrived and asked for one of the quieter rooms they said ok and put us in a too facing the street? Told us on checkout it was because no other rooms would accommodate the cot for our baby, suggesting most rooms a pretty small.

The charming of the hotel.

I think that it's far away of the center of buenos aires. Going whith family it would be better stay in a place more central.

The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience in Buenos Aires.

Location, clean, comfortable, friendly, nice restaurant as part of the hotel, nice breakfast included and good service.

The three employees at the front desk: Pablo, Salena, and Miquel (??) we're fabulous. Every need we had was responded to with care and sensitivity. The breakfasts were great.

The noise made for many sleepless nights. We had a room up front and the street traffic kept us awake for two night so we moved to the back. Then the deep bass music ( which started each night around 1AM and without exaggeration did not stop until 5:00 ) made for 4 more sleepless nights. This was very unfortunate beacause we loved Palermo and LOVED the staff, but 6 sleepless nights made the vacation hard, especially at the hotel rate we were paying.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Mateus cheerfully answered all of our many questions and gave us good advice on places to see as well as directions on how to get there. Luciano, the manager also was helpful and made our stay go smoothly. Our first night was very noisy and the staff was kind enough to move us to a quiet room. (Room 16 is great!)

Palermo is noisy area at night. Dinner starts at 8:00 and the music and partying goes on until early in the morning. It's a great area but be forewarned. I'm guessing all hotels in Palermo have this issue.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The hotel arranged a taxi from and to the airport for us and this was no problem at all. Our flight was diverted to Uruguay due to a thunderstorm that closed the airport and we eventually arrived in the early hours of the morning, some 5 hours late but the taxi was there - very impressed. The staff were helpful in giving us advice and super friendly in the restaurant. Breakfast is included and was of quite a high standard for a buffet, and you could also order eggs done to your liking. The room mas comfortable and quite large, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with a great shower. The roof terrace was lovely to sit in the sun amid the bustle of the city. The TV had a wide selection of Spanish speaking channels, including BBC world service in English.

The noise! I fully appreciate that the hotel can't be blamed for other guests coming and going, but the restaurant is very popular and open til late. Even then that is not so bad, but the hotel must be adjoining or close to a night club because every night there was the thump thump thump noise of loud music being played - which went on until 4am!!! Also, what is described as a roof top pool is actually the size of a jacuzzi, so don't think you're going to get any swimming done. It was (as described above) lovely to sit up there though. However, I stay in hotels to sleep, and I am sorry to say the noise kept me awake most of the night. If you are a part animal and don't get in until the early hours this is a lovely hotel, if you want to have a quiet and relaxing stay then choose a different hotel!

Location is excellent! Service staff are superb.......front desk, Sipan, housekeeping......all very helpful and customer focused. This is the true differentiating factor.

Sound proofing could be better.........we could hear the partying from the streets in the early hours of the morning during the 2 weekends that we were there.
