Staff were very helpful, couldn't do enough for us and the room was comfortable and quite large. We used the pool as the weather was quite humid. I would stay there again.
Close to microcenter and well secured
Nothing to dislike
Well located in San Telmo, an older and less touristic part of the city. Close to bars and restaurants and main attractions of the city center. Good style and nicely decorated halls and rooms.
Rooms are a bit too small, including the bathroom that's tiny. Staff is not amazing. The two times we asked for suggestions we were given the tip to get the yellow bus tour (worst part of our trip) and to get a booked larger car to the airport that would be cheaper than two taxis. The promised 370 pesos fare by the lady at the hotel counter became 550 pesos when we got to the airport.
Everything about our stay was lovely...the room was comfortable and quiet and the hotel is a beautiful place to relax after a day in the city. Very desirable location.
Great san telco location
Fuse and all electricity went in our room. Did not seem able to fix it, but did give us access to another room.
The hotel was in a great location, the staff were excellent and it had a really funky feel.
The room was fairly compact.
Everything! Location, staff so friendly and helpful, rooftop pool, breakfast, decor, room
Shower flooded the whole bathroom floor, but I could live with that as only fault.
Very good location in San Telmo. Extremely clean and well equipped room, though small if a standard room
The pool area is pretty small with only a few quite uncomfortable but stylish chairs
The location was great and the staff fantastic, especially Leandras from the reception evening service
The is a bar opposite the hotel, so if you have a room facing the street it is noisy and you have to close the windows to be able to get some sleep
Great atmosphere, decorations and very relaxing swimming pool.
The room and bathroom are a bit small.
Staff, location, comfort.
breakfast was OK but could be better.
A great small hotel in San Telmo, slightly off the beaten path but that makes it all the more authentic for the area. A conversion of an old building, the rooms stay wonderfully cool and surprisingly quiet despite the open courtyard. On the doorstep isn't great, but turn left and after a short walk you are in the heart of San Telmo. Good food in the neighbouring cafe, lunches were good value and generously sized as well as delicious, lots of fresh ingredients.
This was a great find for the money. The staff was exceedingly friendly, most were conversant in English and some other languages. The hotel offers a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. I especially liked the multi-level layout. I was finding terraces and lounge areas a full two days after being in the hotel. The hotel was located near most of the major tourist places. They even offered a great exchange rate that helped us avoid changing money on the street (we were well warned not to use banks or ATMs in Argentina due to poor official exchange rates).
Although well located the street the hotel was located on was not great. We never had any problems but it had a rough look (my local Buenos Aires cousins even commented on it). However, it was in the middle of other, nicer streets and I never felt there was any problem.
I thought the location was very good as was the security of the hotel. The staff friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the gritty, graffiti neighbourhood.
Location is great, lovely building and staff. Good value for money.
Nice ambience and helpful staff
Location: Near nice restaurants in San Telmo. 5 minutes wallking to plaza Dorrego. Rooms: Clean and comfortable Staff: Helpul, proffesional It's a hotel with personality. Nice place to stay
I would say it's a bit overpriced
Staff very helpful booking us trips to boca juniors and a tango show and answering all our questions. The location was excellent near lots of restaurants and within walking distance of many sights. Room was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was good.
The water temperature in the shower kept changing. No plug for the wash basin - made it difficult to shave.
Beautiful old building and yard Location Silence in the room and patio Friendly service Good breakfast
Lovely modern hotel in trad building. Clean, comfortable and quiet - an oasis from the streets outside. Good breakfast.
Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Genuine old house well converted without losing its character. Convenient location for walking around the San Telmo area with reasonably priced traditional restaurants and good variety of shops.
Very tired and frayed towels. Good shower but poor seal so the bathroom floor was wet and slippery.
Several noises on the room beloow the pool.
beautiful interior design excellent location amazing breakfast
charged me authorisation fees that they did not return even after 3 weeks
Hotel style, comfort, chilled and pleasant staff, and location - if you want to be able to wander in san telmo and also in town centre on same day - stay here.
When i ran a bath the water was dark - i think the tub wasnt cleaned from rust (it had jets). Sheets were clean but stained. These are details that the hotel can fix - i wouldnt say a reason not to stay overall
Lovely, restored hotel. Very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.
My room was a little small. I found it difficult to move around, especially for work. The full set of windows were also a little unnerving. As a woman, I was uncomfortable with this and found it difficult to completely block out the courtyard. My male colleague paid the same price and had a much larger room with a much more modestly placed window.
