This is a good place, good location and staff are beyond good. You will make a friend here. Kitchen is ok if you want to cook, they have the occasional night where the staff cooks a dinner and you pay to join in, its very inexpensive. You will find it a joy to meet new people each day as there is a constant flow of new guests. Charly and Julietta who run the front desk are honest and can give you good tips on what you want to do here. A must is to go to Albertos restaurant, about 3 blocks from here, they have the most amazing steaks you will ever taste and a super wine selection, even better is the wine is at grocery store prices ! Charly is good at assisting in wine. Fond De Cave reserve is simply fantastic and less than 20 buks Canadian / USA funds. They will do your laundry at a very good price. The main square is about 2.5 blocks and has lot of ever changing activities. All in all you won't be disappointed staying here, we checked several places and can afford to stay where we want, the combination of service, location is a big factor. We had a double room which was very nice, good bed and pretty clean. It has a big back yard fenced in with lots of flowers and nice plants, lots of room to get away from the rest of the guests if you need some space. We have great memories of this place and will miss the staff and great people we met here. Every day someone tells you about what they did and gives you the option of doing that yourself or evaluating if that's up your alley. We are picky but also realize that that things are never perfect. Look for the good things and you will be rewarded.
Some of the exterior chairs and table are worn out and could use an upgrade. Its rustic and that has its charm too. Really cant find much wrong with this place
