Best value for money. Clean, nice view. Location is a little far from the city center, there is an uphill hike to get there and the road is gravel.

A truly wonderful budget hotel that is close to the center of El Calafate yet has wonderful views of the surrounding mountains and lake. The staff is super nice keeping our luggage while we were backpacking in the Mt. Fitz Roy area. A real find!!

It was super comfortable, clean, had a delicious terrace with beautiful views and the staff was very nice and helpful. My girlfriend was surprised to find a hairdryer in the room. It is a bit far from the center (15-20 mins), there's no wifi in the room and the food for the Xmas dinner was very limited in variety (understandable because of the lack of personnel that night).

The view is decent and still close enough to walk downtown. All the downtown hotels don't have the Andes view that Picos Del Sur has. Large enough rooms, with decent bathroom and wall safe. Two things. The breakfast was very basic, and not replenished. So if you came late, there wasn't much left. Also there is no elevator and the best rooms are on the second floor. Be ready to move your own luggage, as sometimes there is help, and sometimes there isn't.

Very pleasant place, nice, clean, situated 10 minutes from the main street in Calafate, which makes it enjoyable to be a bit away from the nosy street, but in the same time in a close walking distance. Nice view on the Argentina Lake. Very nice service, tasty breakfast included in the price. We stayed with an baby of 1,5 year old, we got a baby cot in the room, which was great. I would definitly recommend the place.

la verdad,la estadía en el hotel fue muy placentera,desde el lugar que esta ubicado,hasta sus empleados que son de maravilla,la atención y el respeto que tienen hacia sus huéspedes es muy valora-ble...y si recomendaría este hotel,un lugar excelente e ideal para descansar...

Picos del Sur - optymalnie położony: 10min do centrum miasteczka, rewelacyjny widok na J.Argentino, dalej na Andy. Hotel zadbany. Pokoje duże, zadbane, czyste, personel przyjazny, życzliwy. śNiadania dobre. Niech nie przeszkadza szutrowa droga(ulica) przy hotelu - to jest Argentyna I nie trzeba się tym przejmować. Z lotniska doskonały dojazd busem pod hotel I z powrotem. A przede wszystkim lodowce - to trzeba zobaczyć. Polecam I miasto, I hotel. Pomimo braku gości I braku konieczności sprzątania musiałem opuścić pokój I oczekiwać do 4p.M. na busa na lotnisko - tak jest w hotelach, to mnie nie dziwi, ale byłoby super móc (o ile to nie przeszkadza) pozostać w pokoju do wyjazdu. Tu podkreślam, że oczekując na wyjazd można korzystać z wszystkich urządzeń hotelu (toalety, komputer, internet, bar).
