This hotel is located very near the restaurants and markets in Recolleta. It is stylish and modern and the staff were friendly and helpful. The gym was well appointed. I would certainly stay here again. It was much better value than another hotel that we also stayed at in the next street.
The art work in the gym is bizarre! The orange juice at breakfast was pretty ordinary.
nice neigbourhood in Recoleta, english speaking staff, nice design in the lobby and rooms
rooms and lobby are a bit small but that is not really disturbing if you do not stay for weeks
Most helpful staff and many nice parks and restaurants close by
Clean and nice. Friendly staff. Close to recoleta cemetery. Safe
Not in Palermo if that's what you look for
Modern fit out showing some wear, tiny bathrooms but overall a pleasant stay.
location,location,location-nearby(one block) park would suffice as movie set and a daily joy for strolling, people gawking and lovely outdoor bistro patios e.g. La Biela -staff speak English and go out of their way to assist you -king-sized bed was very comfortable and great crisp linens changed regularly good air conditioning, tons of Boiling hot water for refreshing soaks after long days of walking in the sweltering summer heat -nearby local bus stop very handy for the "thrifty" traveller and excellent restaurants e.g. Fervor and Sotto Voce within easy walking distance -artsy, comfortable common rooms with daily newspaper and high-end glossy art and travel books and contemporary art
miniscule bathtub making contortionism a must for the ample North American body habitus -cramped breakfast area but reasonable self-serve options and "good"coffee
Room too small
Good service at front desk, nice breakfast, beautiful room, fantastic location
The bathroom wasn't very clean
Location Amazing view Good breakfast Room
NO tissues, cup, complimentary water or hand towels in room. 'Ikea' quality & style room furniture. Staff are unfriendly, unhelpful & brushes 'off' our queries. Would not stay there again.
The decor is very trendy and the desk personnel were friendly and helpful, especially the doorman. For example, we had asked about taking a bike tour of B.A., and were given three options. The bike tour was great, by the way. Taxis were called and very prompt, restaurant suggestions were excellent, and the coffee was great! Really nice water pressure in shower, by the way!
Lights are quite low in rooms, though "atmospheric." Our taxi driver from the airport dropped us three blocks from the hotel, but that was his problem, not the hotel's, we think!
Small boutique hotel tucked away in a excellent location. Close to the markets (on weekends) and walking distance to Recoleta Cemetery and a great restaurant called Fervor. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Get a room with a view!
Air conditioner in our room stopped working on the last night/day so we had a restless sleep.
Free coffee capsules in room.
Weak coffee at breakfast. Need stronger coffee.
Location is super cool, next to Recoleta cemetary & all major museums. Staff was helpful, breakfast was fine. Would stay once again.
A bit noisy but managable.
Though we did only stay one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The furniture, the style and the customer service of the hotel is all definitely 4 star quality. It's true, the tables at breakfast are limited but there weren't that many guests in the hotel the night we went anyway so it wasn't a problem for us. The linen is great quality, the beds are extremely comfy, and the wifi, though not the best, is still an acceptable quality (again, there were few guests during our stay so I can see this being a problem if the hotel is full). We found the customer service to be absolutely great, especially since there seem to be a lot of complaints in this area in buenos aires. The location was great for us, very safe but not the most centrical. It's what we preferred but don't expect to be surrounded by businesses. We found the breakfast went above and beyond, great variety and so delicious. We were so full we skipped lunch.
We stayed in a triple room and though the bathroom and the suite as a whole was very clean, the floor of the bathroom gets wet when you shower. Definitely something that would make the stay much more enjoyable to not have to deal with that. Also our room on the 15th floor was in the back of the hotel so the view was just of the back of other buildings. Not too great to look at. Of course this is the least important thing for me (the view) but should be mentioned for guests looking for that. I know there are rooms which have a great view though.
The hotel was situated in a beautiful French district. Wonderful location and close to Jorge Chavez airport. Lovely restaurants and cafes around as well as galleries, museums and parks. The staff at this hotel were incredible. We arrived on an early flight, exhausted and tired and they organised our room early. They sorted early check in for our flights (which we had had major problems with)and recommended a great restaurant for dinner. They went out of their way to help.Great value and service for price. Wish we could have stayed longer.
Air-conditioning too warm but just opened a window which was great.
The quality of the staff is really good and their willingness to help is amazing
The quality of the breakfast is too poor
Great staff. Good breakfast.
The location was central and felt safe
The room was small with no cubards . So everything stayed in the suitcase
very helpful and friendly staff, very good location, nice breakfast, nice room (not large by US standards but not too small) with very comfortable bed and nice linen - have stayed here before and will stay again!
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
The shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.
The hotel is quite new and pleasantly stylish. The staff was helpful, the location is perfect for walking to Recoleta and Retiro areas.
The lobby is tiny so get ready to be getting your coffee at breakfast right beside guests with suitcases checking in and out. We were given a rather small and dark room overlooking a wall, not a garden, besides it was adjacent to the elevator shaft so we were aware of all its movements. I'm sure the hotel has much better rooms that would have given us better impressions. Not a 4* hotel definitely, based on my experience.
Good personal, breakfast was ok, clean, situated in the best part of the town.
View from the room was not nice since our window looked at surrounding buildings (room was situated at back of the hotel).
