Views of the Patagonian scenery can be enjoyed right in Los Glaciares National Park. Lunajuim offers a charming common living room with a fireplace and views of the Fitz Roy mountain and Torre hill.

- friendly and helpful staff - room (big, clean) - locker in room - wifi wasn't working well because of a storm, but seriously why would you need wifi when you are in Chalten, go out and have some fun!:) - 'supermarket' is in next building
We reserved 3 nights at Hotel Poincenot but found it closed for renovations when we arrived. The sign on the door told us to go to Hotel Destino Sur where they honored our reservation
An upgrade and free bottle of wine for our honeymoon!
- Staff were friendly and very helpful - Location is close to the hiking tracks - Room is comfortable, albeit not too spacious
Loved the location and the rooms.
Wi-fi is poor, but it is poor everywhere in El Chalten, so you can't get around that.
Clean rooms, helpful staff at the front desk, nice location close to the trekking trails.
There's not a lot of atmosphere at the place. The lobby feels kind of empty, but the rooms are fine.
The hotel is placed at the main street (Av San Martin) very close to the trekking start (200-300 meters). Rooms are pretty big and clean. The hall / lobby is very big with a high celling.
Comfortable room, quite, helpful and kind staff
Windows didn't open and it was very stuffy at times, a bit expensive for the quality
We returned to this hotel, because of the incredible hospitality. Great location ! It is so nice to come back from your day hike, and not have to walk another mile across town, to get to your hotel. Close to really great restaurants. A generous breakfast. A nice spacious room with a bathtub !! We extended our stay, but the hotel was sold out. Gustavo, the manager, moved us to their four star hotel, so we could stay longer. If you are going to visit the Glazier National Park in Patagonia, we would strongly recommend Poincenot Hotel in El Chaltén, Argentina. Thank you Gustavo and staff :)
Nothing. It was an excellent choice
Staff were excellent, full of good advice on walks and restaurants - they made a huge difference to our stay.
Breakfast was a bit basic, would have been nice to have real juice not squash.
Modern and well-equipped rooms, bathroom has a window, nice atmosphere in public areas
Internet connection very poor, but this is general problem of El Chalten
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location for the hikes we wanted to take was very good.
Noise from outside the room. Drum cadence for 3 solid hours.
Location, close to walking tracks and restaurants. Lovely clean hotel, friendly, helpful staff, weather reports. The breakfast was also excellent.
Nothing, it was an excellent hotel.
Good tips on walks, helpful staff, very comfortable beds, modern architecture
Minor improvements possible: No hairdryer in room, no eggs for breakfast
Staff Rooms Cleanliness
The breakfast was a little not fresh.
Situation , comfort , it's the first new hotel I visit in Argentina
Good breakfast and nice rooms
Good location, close to trekking routes and restaurants Friendly staff Good breakfast
Very good standard of hotel, helpful staff, good breakfast to fill you up ahead of a day's hiking. The hotel provides lunchboxes for hiking, one is enough for two people. Location is excellent halfway between two main trailheads, within five mins walk of most restaurants.
Internet was patchy but it's a remote location so to be expected.
The hotel is comfortable. The staff is very helpfull.
The room was very hot.
Everything was really good. Staff friendly and speak perfect english. They helped with bus arrangements. They were informative about the trekking options in the area.. which brings us to its perfect location near the beginning of the trekking path to mount fitz roy.. also close to many restaurants, local pyb and trekking tools hiring shops. The room is clean. Very comfortable bed.. all was just great from start to end.
