We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are large and spacious, the location is great, the price is resonable, there is a graden to sit out the back, staff are quite friendly (even though they do not speak very good English, and unfortunately we do not speak spanish).
Our room was right next to the reception area, it was quite noisey when people are comming in and going out, especially at night.
A nice kind of oldfashioned place with a certain charm, clean and safe.
Staff were very helpful. Nice decor.
The shower is not very good. It doesn't spray properly and the whole room gets wet when it is on so it is hard to keep your clothes dry. The shower is shared so you can't leave them in your room.
Very nice hotel, friendly and helpfull people!
An excellent value for a great location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We booked an extra night when we returned from salta!
Staff were tremendously helpful on every occasion I needed something.big clean airy room.3 minutes from main square.all good would highly recommend.
After one night I checked out although I had booked 5. The room was very small, two beds of perhaps 80 cm, no table to write. All furniture in a quality that IKEA is really luxus.
Location & staff
Very old fashioned and out dated style, needs redecorating!
The personal was very nice and helpful, especially the girl that worked there on the weekend.
The beds were not very confortable and the bathroom a bit mouldy. The internet was not working for a whole day.
nice location and staff; good breakfast; clean facilities
good location close to the city center
We stayed twice always for one night. First time, the room was small, we could not almost fit there with our luggage. Bathroom was dirty, the bathcloth was disgusting. Second time we got a bigger room, but it was wet with mold at the ceiling. Rooms are without windows. I definitely would not stay there again.
Room is very big, but bathroom is too small. Common area is quite big and comfortable and beautiful. Some staffs can speak English and most of them can't. Location is close to plaza only few minute by walk. Breakfast is good with handmade coffee, the only thing is bread is not enough. But if I have chance i'll come back here again!
The staff was super nice, very centrally located, the building itself was so pleasant with a patio inside a few garden tables and chairs to hangout and a huge living room to relax. Breakfast was good and price was good, so there was really nothing to love! And do ask staff for recommendations on where to eat or what to visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
the major places in the city are in walking distance. a lot of atmosphere in a traditional style house. Nice backyard / garden.
Well laid out so rooms away from traffic noise, staff helpful, peaceful atmosphere, good location and advice from staff if required. Great value for Salta prices.
Poor breakfast, not quite enough!
Casa Borgogna was a lovely spot. Well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of most everything you would want to see in Salta. The rooms were spartan but what do you want for this price. I'd stay here again.
WiFi was virtually non-existent. Connected to the router just fine but from there access to the internet was mostly unavailable. I suspect that this part of Salta has bandwith problems because I took my laptop elsewhere in proximity and had the same problem. I don't think it's the hotel's fault.
I loved the garden and the courtyard areas which were lovely to sit in and have breakfast, read or chat or just hang out.
The air conditioning in the room was not adequate and it was uncomfortable at night as there were no windows except onto the inner courtyard and people talked at night.
Posada Casa de Borgoña is a small and neat hotel. It is nicely decorated in Italian style. There is a quiet garden. The guys kept authentic atmosphere and charm of old days.
Stuff members don't speak English but friendly. You have to fill the check in form in Spanish and a girl on the reception used google translate to help us :) We could not find how to switch water from a water tap to shower. Breakfast is basic as always in South America.
Very nice staff, central location, garden, large room
The hostel has à nice authentic atmosphere, friendly staff and a small, quiet garden.
They kept warning is not to park our car and leave it alone in the street. Otherwise iT felt completely safe.
Good location, nice garden
The room where I stayed looks at the main hall, no windows, no fresh air. The staff working there during the night is unhelpful and rude. I payed the room as double when I stayed there alone, and they denied to refund me the difference even with no explications.
The house has a very nice atmosphere, close to main square. Our room had a huge bathroom with two showers, two sinks, two toilets.
the ubication, close to the central plaza
Breakfast almost invisibily, and you had to pay for a second cup of coffee! Our room did not have a window and was right next to the reception - therefore little sleep! Price was way too high for what we got.
The staff were really nice and helpful, there is a nice garden and the location is fine. Our room was ok, but some rooms may not have windows. The room was very clean, and airconditioned!
Although everything was clean, the rooom was a bit shabby; doors don't close, knobs are loose, the shower faucets fall off when you turn them on...With a minimum of effort, some of these details could be fixed up and it would improve the place greatly. Also, the breakfast was really minimalistic.
Enjoyed my stay here. Friendly, helpful staff.
