Posada Casa is a beautiful old house with a lovely patio and garden (where you can also have breakfast). Location is perfect, only 3 blocks from the main square but quietly located. Staff is friendly and rooms are spotlessly clean, with huge new bathroom.
The matrass was quite old, could be renewed.
Lovely place with a nice garden. Lots of character in the building. Quiet and peaceful stay.
relative central, wifi
breakfast is typical Argentine (Crossaints, butter, the and coffee), staff only speaks spanish.
Lovely building, very nice room and bathroom. It's very quiet with a lovely garden area and lounge room. Very very clean. Staff is helpful but not exactly smiley. The woman is quite sullen but not at all unpleasant. She just seemed to want to be elsewhere. But overall, a really lovely place.
Everything was good!
Comfy beds, good wifi, air-conditioning. No frills but hits the key points.
Room had no windows except one opening to the entrance lobby, in other words, not very private.
central safe and very nice old building they kept our luggage for 35 days with no extra cost
not well restored could give a much better feeling
Clean and comfortable-pretty basic.Good location near square and restaurants.
We had to share a bathroom but had to go through lobby to get to bathroom. There are rooms with private bathroom but none available!!
Good location, nice helpful staff!
Wifi not work in the room! In lobby only
Beautiful terrace garden and nice areas to relax.
Shared shower room is a wet room that requires you to scrap water into the central drain as it doesn't go down in its own and begins to flood.
We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are large and spacious, the location is great, the price is resonable, there is a graden to sit out the back, staff are quite friendly (even though they do not speak very good English, and unfortunately we do not speak spanish).
Our room was right next to the reception area, it was quite noisey when people are comming in and going out, especially at night.
A nice kind of oldfashioned place with a certain charm, clean and safe.
Staff were very helpful. Nice decor.
The shower is not very good. It doesn't spray properly and the whole room gets wet when it is on so it is hard to keep your clothes dry. The shower is shared so you can't leave them in your room.
Very nice hotel, friendly and helpfull people!
An excellent value for a great location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. We booked an extra night when we returned from salta!
Staff were tremendously helpful on every occasion I needed something.big clean airy room.3 minutes from main square.all good would highly recommend.
After one night I checked out although I had booked 5. The room was very small, two beds of perhaps 80 cm, no table to write. All furniture in a quality that IKEA is really luxus.
Location & staff
Very old fashioned and out dated style, needs redecorating!
The personal was very nice and helpful, especially the girl that worked there on the weekend.
The beds were not very confortable and the bathroom a bit mouldy. The internet was not working for a whole day.
nice location and staff; good breakfast; clean facilities
good location close to the city center
We stayed twice always for one night. First time, the room was small, we could not almost fit there with our luggage. Bathroom was dirty, the bathcloth was disgusting. Second time we got a bigger room, but it was wet with mold at the ceiling. Rooms are without windows. I definitely would not stay there again.
Room is very big, but bathroom is too small. Common area is quite big and comfortable and beautiful. Some staffs can speak English and most of them can't. Location is close to plaza only few minute by walk. Breakfast is good with handmade coffee, the only thing is bread is not enough. But if I have chance i'll come back here again!
The staff was super nice, very centrally located, the building itself was so pleasant with a patio inside a few garden tables and chairs to hangout and a huge living room to relax. Breakfast was good and price was good, so there was really nothing to love! And do ask staff for recommendations on where to eat or what to visit! Thank you for a wonderful stay!
the major places in the city are in walking distance. a lot of atmosphere in a traditional style house. Nice backyard / garden.
Well laid out so rooms away from traffic noise, staff helpful, peaceful atmosphere, good location and advice from staff if required. Great value for Salta prices.
Poor breakfast, not quite enough!
Casa Borgogna was a lovely spot. Well maintained and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was within walking distance of most everything you would want to see in Salta. The rooms were spartan but what do you want for this price. I'd stay here again.
WiFi was virtually non-existent. Connected to the router just fine but from there access to the internet was mostly unavailable. I suspect that this part of Salta has bandwith problems because I took my laptop elsewhere in proximity and had the same problem. I don't think it's the hotel's fault.
