Good but quiet location close to the main street. Early breakfast is a nice plus.
The owners friendliness and attitude. Excellent. Good value.
Room very basic. No place to unpack.
wonderful lake-view, good breakfast with homemade bread, pleasant stuff
The warmth of the hosts is why traveling to small hotels is the best.
it's a very nice, clean B&B, simple, small room but everything you need. The owners Claudia and Frederico are very nice nice. They even helped us organising our tour from the aiport to Perito Moreno. All our questions about the trip were very quickly and friendly answered. We higly recommand this accommodation
Federico and Claudio were fabulous hosts and the place was a great place to stay.
Very good breakfast, very nice owners who supported us with taxi arrangements to the airport. Fantastic dinner. Rooms were spacious and nicely equipped. Some of them have lake view.
Very nice house and friendly and extremely helpful hosts.Room was spacious with great view over the lake and very comfy bed. Located in a quiet area but not to far from town center.
Wonderful hosts, quiet room. Felt like coming home wih easy laundry done cheaply, home cooked meal, and lots f advice. Best part was really meal cooked by host in a town with no good restaurant options (expensive, mediocre tourist fare). Thanks for everything! Would reccomend to anyone
Very friendly and welcoming hosts, spacious rooms, nice breakfast, delicious meals
Wonderful hosts, good food (dinner, lunchbox and breakfast),
We loved everything!!! The location near the main street, the breakfast very good, the bed very confortable, room very clean and the owners very friendly and helpful! And also they cook very well ...we had our dinner there some nights and the meal was just wondeful ! Thanks a lot Valéria e Ricardo from São Paulo - Brasil
The owners were very helpful and made us feel welcome. Rooms are large, bed is great and bathroom modern and complete. Breakfast with freshly made products.
Its a small walk (of 10min) to the centre of the city but this didnt bother us much
Spacious room. Close to town and main road
EVERYTHING!!!! Especially the lovely hosts, Claudia and Federico, that helped us a lot with many travelling arrangements, and made us feel like home. Furthermore, Claudia's cooking is sooooooo good... Delicious breakfast. Don't miss the lunchbox!
Bedroom is a bit small.
We were there days and two nights in Posada Karut Josh last week and enjoyed every minute of our stay there. Claudia and Federico explained all the possibilities for excursions and was very helpful in organising these. The second night we also had dinner there and the only thing we regretted was not having had dinner there the night before too! After coming back frozen from the boat tour on Lago Argentino due to the bad weather, Claudia wellcomed us with a nice cup of tea and self made cake! Thanks a lot Claudia and Federico!
There was really nothing we did not like about this place; we would immediately go back there if we would come in El Calafate again: strongly recommended!
Claudia and her husband were extremely welcoming and helpful. Claudia had gone to the trouble of baking me gluten free bread and giving me rice cakes and sweet cookies.
Cleanliness So quiet Helpful staff
Everything perfect. Try also their amazing gastronomic specialities
Very big rooms with big beds Very clean and modern bathroom The couple who run the B&B are very knowledgeable about excursions and happy to book them for you Good breakfast, and flexible about when you eat
Bed was two singles pushed together, not a double (not a big deal)
Posada Karut Josh is quite a simple hotel, but remarkably clean, very comfortable, with a chalet-style feel. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful; so was dinner if you chose to have it there. Location was three minutes walk to the main street. Room 5 had a beautiful view over the lake and the mountains. Wifi worked well. What makes this one of the best hotels we have been to during our year-long travel around the world, is the friendliness and helpfullness of Claudia and Frederico. Perfect all around.
It's like staying at a bed and breakfast. Very homely, and the people who run it can't do enough for you. Great food, fast wifi, really lovely rooms and bathroom. Can't recommend more highly.
Frederico and Claudia were awesome. They were very responsive in answering our numerous questions via email. It was a breeze to setup everything with them; tours, airport transfer etc etc. They went to lengths to make sure our stay was comfortable. Due to a country-wide strike our flight to El Calafate was delayed by a day. They made sure I contacted Booking.com to modify my reservation so that we would not have to pay for the extra day we did not stay. Food: Since we were vegetarians, they prepared some of the best sandwichs and pastas we had in Argentina. They thoroughly inquired our food liking and made food accordingly. The rates were very very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this small family owned posada to anyone visiting El Calafate.
The location of this hotel is very close to the main street. The host is real kind and always ready to help you. The feeling to live there is like at home. They asked you every evening when you want to have breakfast, and they prepared nice food for you the next day. They also gave you a lot of valuble advice for your trip. The price is reasonable and really worth to stay. I strongly recomend to live there.
