Clean, comfortable, English speaking staff.
Thee was no hot water when we arrived, but within a few minutes of mentioning the problem to the staff there was plenty of hot water.
The staff were just great, very friendly and informative, nothing was too much trouble for then. The breakfast was far more than I expected in Argentina, sliced fruit at least three varieties fresh and ripe, bread varieties, rolls, croissants and cakes! Argentina is not known for their breakfasts! The gardens were quite beautiful, well cared for and obviously loved. A dip in the pool was wonderful after a day at the falls!
Very nice staff / Spacious room / Swimming pool
An issue with sheets but quickly fixed by the staff
First rate restaurant, friendly staff with excellent English, a rarity in Argentina
The garden and the quiet
The smell of humidity
Staff was very helpful, pick up and drop off for iguacu falls was easy.
Not close to much! Rooms are very outdated, only well system, old bathrooms, difficult to obtain hot water. Nice to have air conditioning but froze at night or sweated like crazy and got mosquito bites even though windows were closed
La Sorgente is not a luxury hotel but it has everything you need. Good quality- prize relation. Good breakfast!
The description of the hotel through booking corresponds exactly Good location Very good staff Clean Good food in the restaurant
It has pool. The beds all have new mattresses.
While seeing the Iguassu Falls from the Argentine side is a must, I would recommend making this a day trip and return to the superior town and accommodation on the Brazil side. This hotel does not accept credit card then changes USD at the low 'Official" rate rather than the "blue market" rate.
- english speaking reception - tv with hdmi input - free wifi - 10% discount at restaurant - beautiful garden with pool - cocktail bar (no virgin cocktails)
- no safe - big gap between door and floor, window and window frame - water does not flow into the sink in the shower - no credit cards accepted - no virgin cocktails at cocktail bar - bad wifi reception from time to time - no mosquito net
The facilities and the location of the hotel is great - not far from the central bus station for the bus to the falls. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfast is good.
Staff very helpful
No fridge in room No safe in Room Breakfast was very poor Wifi so so
Lovely Pool and garden. Wifi good. Helpful lady on reception who spoke perfect English.
Kitchen noisy till late, then woken early by guests. Low water pressure but ok. Breakfast basic.
Good cosy place with a swimming pool
No facilities to accept credit card
Helpful staff that arranged transport to the Falls and airport at reasonable price.
Helpfull staff, very good location and different atmosphere...
Breakfast wasn't sufficient.
Very nice inside garden with pool area, very helpful stuff
We had room next to reception which was very, very humid - the floor was wet all the time, the air was also very humid; seemed the room lacked ventilation.
Beautifull garden , feels like paradise, nice staff, breakfast was good, the restaurant had the best food for us in whole argentina
The best thing to say is that it was within walking distance of the city "center" - the few streets with shops and restaurants.
Not as good as you would think based on the online pictures. Three biggest problems: 1. They only want cash. And we had absolutely no information about this on beforehand. Even though we booked with creditcard at booking.com we had to find an ATM to get 1500 pesos in cash. And of course the only accept dollars at the very low official rate. 2. No safe in the room. So you will have to take the chance leaving it at the hotel - or take it with you to the falls risking your iPad etc. gets wet. 3. They say that "the wifi covers all of the hotel but is best around reception area". Truth is: It perhaps works around the reception - but perhaps it doesn't work for a couple of hours. And it will not work at all at your hotel. I might have to add that the pool is actually very small.
Too much noise in the morning.
Pleasant staff, good breakfast, located a little walk from the centre, but quite accessible.
warm environment, excellent food, and helpful staffs
Great location, staff speaks english and help us with advice. We had great time and would come again
If you're looking for a quite place to stay while you explore the falls this is perfect. Easy access to the bus station and a short walk into the center for food etc.
The hotel only let some nationalities pay by card which is a bit odd and frustrating as it's very hard to change Stirling in Puerto Iguazu and the ATM's do not like UK cards either, meaning uk you have to cross back into Brazil. They have Wi-Fi but it is a very poor signal, so very up and down.
Posada la Sorgente offers a very good and varied breakfast. The hotel areal is beautifully arranged and offers a nice little pool which you can enjoy even in winter.
Wifi doesn't seem to cope with the amount of guests. Logging in works best when it gets late in the evening. Or very early in the morning.
