Great location, staff speaks english and help us with advice. We had great time and would come again
Posada la Sorgente offers a very good and varied breakfast. The hotel areal is beautifully arranged and offers a nice little pool which you can enjoy even in winter.
Wifi doesn't seem to cope with the amount of guests. Logging in works best when it gets late in the evening. Or very early in the morning.
Large breakfast. Personnel attention.
a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the garden and outside area to relax around the poolsand other areas
Staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort
Music at the restaurant too loud and not good
Good location if you travel by public transport. Bus station is only 5 min walking distance
Do not expect a big swiming pool.
The rooms were clean and well kept. The continental breakfast was very good.
The staff had very limited English speaking members, the desk could not give change for any currency, the restuarant menu was very limited. The worst problem we had was renovation construction was on going next to and below our rooms from 7am until 6pm, very annoying if you wanted to sleep a little late. It appeared, there was another wing of rooms that were empty that we could have been moved to, but we were not moved after complaining about the noise. We were only told the time the work would stop. The water faucets were backwards in my room and water pressure was low. There was only two clothes hangers in the closet.
The trattoria was excellent
Shower was poor
The staff was so helpful and great. And the restaurant in the hotel is unreal. Best pasta in Argentina. We went both nights we stayed there!
The staff was unfrindly. The water in the pool was dirty. And the worst was the huge noise of the works all the time. A big dissapoitment.
Very close to bus station for Brazil and the falls which are amazing. Good restaurants down a few blocks same street as bus station.
Clean rooms and short walking distance to restaurants and bars. Movie channel in English.
The sign at breakfast telling customers not to bring food back to the room with them.
Quite cheap price for a hotel near Iguazu. We asked the reception to call us a taxi to visit Iguazu falls in Brazil and in Argentina, and the taxi drivers were reliable and nice. We left early morning to the airport and the hotel, when asked, gave us many buns and bananas as take away breakfast.
Breakfast - the lady pours you 2/3 of glass of juice. No juice to refill, though maybe she could have poured more if asked. Sign 'Don't take food out of breakfast room' - feels cheap. The room smelled like a damp dungeon, the shirt I kept on a hanger in a wardrobe kept that smell for a while even after we have left the hotel. The room looked very basic, bathroom did not inspire to actually take a shower. If you book through booking.com, you have to pay cash for hotel. However, cash machines in town can be either out of money, or you may be allowed to take only 1000 pesos at one time.
The rooms are set around a pool area, and it is all very piscturesque. There were a couple of staff members who were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are basic, but fine, what you would expect from a 2 star hotel I would say. It;s in a good location within easy walking distance of the town.
When it rains, which is quite often, it sounds like you are sleeping inside a tin drum when in the bedrooms. Our bedroom also leaked water so one of the beds ended up being soaking wet. The staff on reception at the time refused to offer us any money back. Oh and don't go at easter - you pay double the price for the room to start with. The food in the restaurant is average, and the breakfast is not great, much of it was stale.
the breakfast was very good. The beds were big. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. And the gardens were well kept.
nothing, it was great!
It was said to be internet in all parts of the hotel, which was compulsory because we needed to work online during our stay. A total lie! The only place where there was internet was in the lobby. In a very polite way we explained our concern and got a very arrogant answer from the managing woman, Angela, who ended with saying: 'what do you expect, you are in the middle of the jungle!' We called booking.com and they were very helpful and contacted the hotel. The call from booking.com made the management of the hotel show more compliance. Then they said that they were going to get an another router for the area outside the lobby. So, after haft of our stay we had a meager internet connection only if we were standing at the entrance of our hotel room. So, eventhough it is said here in the hotel profile on booking.com, that there is internet all over the hotel, that is NOT true. It was also very uncomfortable to see how the manager woman treated the subdued staff. In front of guests at the reception she was screaming and scolding at them. I would definitely go for another hotel, if I were to go back.
Quiet location, staff very helpful, beds comfortable. Pool and gardens were a bonus after a hot day sightseeing.
Bathrooms could have been cleaner. More water in the pool, it appeared half empty.
Breakfast was good for Argentina Standard Nice ambient in their restaurant
The Service wasn't good during our stay. To print the Boarding Card they demanded (10 Pesos per page) The pool is very shoal and just for pict. purposes
I saw in several review of this hotel, problem with credit card payment. But as hotel's own web site shows Credit Card Welcome advertisement I believed hotel recently changed their policy. I went ahead and made the reservation. I was relieved when booking.com confirmed that the amount was to be charged the same day. But this was not the case. The next day the hotel sent me an e-mail stating that I have to pay in Cash upon arrival. I was very upset by the discrepancy between what the hotel publish in their own web-site and also what "booking.com" responded when reservation was made (that credit card payment is permitted) and the "real" hotel policy (only cash payment accepted ... I guess as other guest suggested they might accept but charging 15 or 20% more over the real price): I asked the hotel to please erase the Credit Card advertisement in their web-site. In response I got a long and very aggressive e-mail from Gianlucas (I guess he is the arrogant and mean manner manager many reviewer talk about) teaching me the difference between lodging establishment-the hotel and intermediary-booking.com. That there is a contract between them where only "Cash payment" is permitted(????) . In a very arrogant tone I was informed that if I wanted to pay by credit card I should have made my reservation directly with the hotel and not through booking.com. I will please ask Booking.com to change the "response message" given when reservation is made from the current one that says "Credit card will be charged the day reservation is made" to something like "Credit card is only for guarantee purpose, this hotel only accepts cash"
I like the location, and the garden area.
The shower pressure was so weak and breakfast was not good, with flies hovering around the food and day old bread. Why only one kind of cereal?
We really appreciated the italian cuisine! The breakfast was very good, and the location of the hôtel was perfect. Nice Time there!!! We recommand that hôtel for Sure!
The only good thing was the swimming pool area which looked really good, but did not have time to test it. not good enough to enjoy my stay though.
very disappointing, checked out after one night. Very unhelpful staff and full of bad faith, humidity smell was so strong in the room I had to get out to breathe the first few minutes, room dark and dingy, very different from pictures shown. The whole thing a disaster. Much happier at the place around the corner.
Nice hotel, decent rooms, quiet, good breakfast.
Restaurant is closed on Sunday. Room prices vary, prices displayed in the hotel are much more expensive than on booking.com, we had to pay cash in Argentinian peso's, so eventually the price was higher than on the online booking. This was confusing.
Good food at hotel restaurang, close to bus station which take you to iguazu falls.
Compare to the fee they charged, the service and facilites do not meet with my expectation. Most of all Wifi does not work in the room!
English speaking, friendly and very helpful staff. Rooms are simple but clean and it's very relaxing by the pool. Breakfast was excellent. We would happily recommend this hotel and also recommend that you eat in their restaurant, the Italian food is amazing and the place gets packed with non resident guests in the evening so a good atmosphere.
