The hill, which isn't terribly steep, was both a positive and a negative. It wasn't a problem for us but might be for someone with mobility issues. On the days when we had tours booked, we were picked up and dropped off at our doorstep and dined on the hill. No problem.
The room was not spacious but was big enough to be comfortable. A large window let in plenty of light and allowed for a great view of the lake. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Wifi worked well. The location was on the top of a hill just outside the main tourist district but it was still only about a ten minute walk to the center. Being on the hill was pleasant and afforded us the great view. Also, the posada was just about two minutes walk from Don Pichon Restaurant, which was very good. Breakfast was a typical buffet but also included homemade yoghurt, scrambled eggs to order, fresh home cooked muffins and fresh fruit. Very nice. Carolina did a great job of making our stay comfortable and easy. She booked our tours, provided us with a breakfast for a 5:30 a.m. tour departure, made our restaurant reservation and checked on bus schedules, and always with a smile. We highly recommend Posada Larsen.
