Great quiet location in the vineyards with excellent facilities, Very friendly and helpful staff.

Wifi access was intermittent at the time of our stay but the engineer was arriving as we left so hopefully future guests wont have the same issue. Otherwise a great place to stay!

Julia and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. The location was beautiful and the room comfortable. The food was top-notch, as well.

Our only problem was finding the posada - they don't have a sign out front and our taxi drivers from Mendoza couldn't find it. Pay close attention to the small address sign!

Beautiful, relaxing posada. Gorgeous room. Lots of areas to relax. Excellent meals two evenings. Thanks to Julia & Paula for recommendations for winery tours. Very enjoyable few days.

Not many places to eat in Maipu at night but found one lovely restaurant near posada & ate in posada 2 nights.

Very nice staff who helped us in every way possible. Great food. No need to go out to restaurant. Great place to stay. Highly recommend.

My two suggestions would be better wifi and heat the pool.

Julia's dinners were the best we had in Argentina. Paula and the other gals in the office are friendly and helpful, and Paula knows a lot about Argentina's wines.

The staff were fantastic! We arrived mid-day on my birthday, and they left me a small gift in my room. They also threw together a lunch for us, despite us not telling them that we wanted lunch and it not being typical for them to serve lunch. It was delicious! The staff are also amazing at organizing events and activities; we spent a day hiking in the Andes and a day cycling around to the different wineries in the area. We also ate at two fantastic restaurants in Mendoza, and this was all organized by the staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Could not fault the accommodation, garden, pool area and service. Staff were very attentive and provided helpful advice regarding trips and restaurants, and then made all of the arrangements for us. A real bonus that they speak very good English. Well done to Julia and team.

3 course evening meal, whilst pleasant wasn't worth $40 per person. Wine at $25 a bottle, was over the top.

All the staff were very friendly and welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home and made several personalised efforts and gestures during our stay. The posada is small, only five bedrooms, which gives it a really personalised feel and makes the whole experience feel more special and unique than at some of the bigger, more famous posadas in the region. Our room was very spacious and elegantly decorated and came with home-made olive-based bath products. The dinner, while not cheap, was both very tasty and very filling, and they cooked something separately for my vegetarian girlfriend. We were also able to drink one the bottles of wine we had bought on a wine tour earlier that day. It's good that they don't insist on you buying their own wine for the dinner, though we did try their own reserva before dinner as a complimentary drink and it was excellent. The breakfast was delicious and very filling too. They had good, fresh bread and also a freshy-baked sweet loaf cake, as well as home-made jam and dulce de leche, in addition to eggs and the usual media-lunas and ham and cheese etc. I stupidly left behind my iPhone charger and they didn't hesitate in offering to forward it on to my home address.

Their was a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom, but they were at least confined to the bathroom and nowhere near the bedroom. I guess this is the price you pay for the rural location. The air-con was leaking in our room, which was a bit annoying with the sound of it dripping, although it still did its job of keeping out the intense heat. But as we were only staying one night it was unrealistic that they could fix it while we were there. It was easy enough to find the address given the rural location, but once we found it, there was no signposting to indicate we had arrived and we drove past it a couple of times. We only got to stay one night! But we already plan to go back for longer.

Friendlyness of the whole staff and owner Julia was exceptional perfect. The whole property is in really well condition and you can see that it is managed with a lot of passion. It's like a mix of Spanish and Tuscany wine property. They also help you with airport transferres and to organize your personal tours to wherever you like to go. Make sure you get Miguel as your private driver who is fluent in English and knows each corner of the area. I just sent a short email to the posada prior arrival and everything was super well organized upon our arrival! They also have a great pool area in between their own vineyards which is a great area to relax. If you like, Julia the owner will prepare a home made dinner for you! We can definitely recommend this property to young and mature couples who look for a couple days to relax, drink good wine and visit some of the great wineries in the valley.

I have only the absolute best things to say about my stay at Posada Verde Oliva. My wife and I had a fantastic time there and we were able to relax by the pool, have delicious breakfasts and dinners, and it was very close to all the wineries and olive farms for tastings. The staff is wonderful in every way. I highly recommend this place!

We loved the subtle beauty of the Posada and the committment of the staff to an excellent experience for the customer. They arranged all our excursions with calm and zeal. We were pampered and treated like good friends. The Carolinas (3), Monica and Julia were so warm and helpful.

Having to tear ourselves away from the Posada to go on our excursions !!

Extremely peaceful and romantically beautiful. Oasis outside of city of Mendoza. Food was best we had in area. Staff were extremely responsive to our needs in requests. They responded to e-mail and assured transportation, responded to issue with air conditioner in the room, organized wine tasting tour, and horseback riding.

    Having to leave!

I cannot say enough about this place. It was the perfect jumping off point for a 2 and a half day trip to the Mendoza wine region. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful with arranging transportation to wineries, restaurants, or anywhere else you want to go. The rooms are large and comfortable. The outdoor area is amazing...the patio is perfect for breakfast and (if you wish) dinner, and the pool is a welcome retreat after a day of drinking wine in the desert. The entire backyard area is surrounded by grape vines, giving the villa an incredibly picturesque, authentic feel. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who comes to Mendoza and does not stay at this amazing little place...it made our trip absolutely perfect.

Maipu is difficult to navigate.if you choose to stay at this beautiful posada, be aware that there is no signage out front. Look for the address on the gate and ring the bell. Once inside, you will find spacious and sparkling clean rooms and nicely decorated common areas. Breakfast is wonderful and dinner can also be had on the premises. The staff was extremely helpful in arranging a day of winery visits. The owner is a life long resident and quite knowledgeable. Highly recommend staying here.
