Good value for money relative to the area. Payment was in pesos. Location is better than google maps may suggest. No more than 4 blocks from the square and close to restaurants before that in any case such as el mercadito. Room was very well presented and definitely in keeping with a rural boutique hotel feel. We had also booked and since stayed in nearby Parador del angel during the same visit (changes to dates and plans) and note that Postales is overall a better accommodation- bigger, more inviting rooms, TV, safe, nicer bathroom, balcony etc. Particularly cosy for a stay in late April. Breakfast was tasty also. Would have preferred to be here for whole stay but wasn't available when we initially checked availability in Chacras.

    Nothing at all

The staff were nice, the location is good. The bed was very comfortable.

The pool wasn't cleaned at all, only on the last day where were we leaving - it was the first week of march, still summer, but we were told it wasn't cleaned because it wasn't hot enough - total rubbish! The Jacuzzi didn't work. Our room was on the ground floor so if we had the curtains open there was no privacy, so the room was blacked out the entire time. Breakfast is very very basic for the price of the hotel. Two days we did not receive clean towels (we were told it was carnaval holidays so people weren't working) They call this a boutique hotel, it definitely is not, we were quite unhappy because they charged us a lot and the value we got was so far below that.

Daily staff were phenomenal at doing everything they could to improve stay

    - neglected facility by off site management - limited ability to get around without a car (so far out of town that taxis took an hour to reach you) -

Staff were really helpful in booking winery tours and offering advice. They were very friendly and attentive. Good restaurant but it's only open Thursday - Sunday.

When we arrived the front bell had stopped working. Probably just bad luck but we were waiting outside banging for over 30 minutes. The pool needed a seriously good clean and also looked run down. Wifi sketchy.
