convenience location grocery store across the street friendly staff good breakfast
construction work sewage smell as you enter
Location very convenient
Hotel advertised for sky bar on top floor Unavailable Under refurbish Power out for couple hours Got stuck at high floor level
A good hotel. It has all you need.
Lots of construction works in the surrounding streets and therefore a bit noisy. Nothing to do with them though.
The staff is very kind and always ready to help. The hotel has a great interior design. The breakfast is good. It has a good location.
The rooms that are on the side of the street are very noisy, so it is better not to stay on that side of the building. They are repairing the street so the access is difficult by car but this will be temporarily. If you are a woman traveling by yourself avoid walking late at night on the street, it can be a little bit dangerous in this area but the hotel has an excellent location to visit the most touristic places.
Hotel Pulitzer is very easy to access and is perfectly located at the doorstep of Recoleta. the room was great and the staff was very accommodating in allowing us to check in slightly earlier and check out a bit later, allowing us to make the best of our time in Buenos Aires.
The Hotel is located "downtown" Buenos Aires in the middle of the so calles "micro centro", just a block away from the famous Shopping arkades "Galerias Pacifico". The Hotel offers "Business Standard". The rooms are comfortable and clean (only the carpet would have needed some General cleaning). The "skybar" was closed as well as the pool, maybe because my visit was in the "winter" (September). The breakfast is also Standard but with some fresh fruits (Strawberrys, Oranges, Mandarins) and they have got some good local bakery. Of course you can get the obligatory "cafe con leche". Though, the breakfast room is located in the Basement, but that´s OK, regarding the Location of the Hotel. The Windows (if closed ;-)) will lower the noise of the City to a nice Minimum. Of course, if you want to be "downtown", there is some noise in all citiy´s around the globe, also during the night. The WIFI was free, fast and reliable. There is a Little Supermarket just across the street, open till 10pm, this could be very conveniant if you want to buy a bottle of water or some nibbles. There is also a wide variaty of different Restaurants Close to the Hotel. I was arriving by Train and could walk from central Station to the Hotel. (about 400m)
Free Wifi Good location Modern and clean
Room looks like the pictures and just the right size with WI Fi in the room! Confortable bed and clean. Very good location!
Room was nice, good bed, staff was helpfull and friendly
Bath tub has no stopper and no overview. Even though advertised on booking.com as coming with a bath tub, staff told me "you can only use it as a shower" !
Great location, helpful staff and nice rooms. Overall excellent.
Excellent staff, very helpful and considerate. Especially the guys working the front desk and the breakfast room.
Good taste in the design and good quality of all accessories in the room and bath.
Bar expensive, breakfast room unpleasant at the basement.
The staff were cold and unfriendly and unhelpful
The staff really nice and helpful plus excellent English communication ability. Breakfast with lot of choices and good service. Room is designed in a very stylish way and functional. Everything just wonderful!
Because of flight delay due to weather conditions i've arrived in the hotel at 3 am during the storm, even though my reservation was done in advance and i've booked the room with one kingsize bed, i was given the room with 2 beds, and on reception they said they have no other rooms at the moment. By mistake they blocked on my card amount 3 times bigger than amount i should pay for my stay which was unblocked after 15 days when i came back already to my country. Moreover at 7 am i was awoken by hotel personnel who started their cleaning work - at 3 am i was given the room near service rooms and elevators (but hotel charged me 1 day stay before while i was waiting for my delayed fligt).... To put it shortly staff was unfriendly and they could find another room only after my complaints and strong demand.
Friendly, well dressed, helpful staff. Cool interior. Nice touch with books in lounge.
Location is great, but work on progress in the street make the hotel almost unreachable, til july 14 they say. Wifi is working well.
This was my 7th or 8th stay and I must say it is worth each time. 1st time the hotel was brand new. There is almost no maintenance and it is aging very fast. Stains on the carpet, no amenuities (just a champoo) bathroom still really dark. Employees at breakfast(in the basement) are terrible and I am sure they have the election of the most unpleasant employee of the month. Not even ONE smile. Butter was full of honey, they did not want to change ! This is lasting for years and despite warning, things get worth. Windows broken (could not get closed) they could not fix and did not offer a change of the room, noise of the street all night ! This is my last stay, for sure.
The Location. The pastries at breakfast.
The cramped bathroom, The windowless breakfast room. Closed rooftop bar. The ugly view from all rooms.
Good central location & staff that were able to help with our questions. Nice rooftop pool, but only in the sun during morning and is quite cold! Breakfast buffet had a great variety. Level 1 bar & rooftop bar both looked nice, but empty during our visit.
Seemed to cater more towards business clients as they didn't have tourism brochures or seem to know too much about tours, attractions, etc... The street out front is under construction, although this obviously isn't their fault.
Skybar was great Room was ok, but nothing special
There is construction going on in front of the hotel (I think this will take some time). This caused a lot of noise (drilling), also early in the morning. So think twice before you book...
Very centrally located. Short walking distance to subway and about a 10 min walk to Retiro train station. Supermarket across the road if you need any extras. Sky bar was great. Breakfast was good. The room was a decent size. Reception staff speak good English and were very helpful.
Lovely room, tastefully decorated and a nice breakfast.
The hotel was very stylish and the staff were friendly and knew the area well. They arranged a car to the airport for us and the driver was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was excellent
The pool was rather small with limited sun bathing areas
