Access to Florida Street and Microcentro. It was close enough, but not on the strip. 1. The front desk did not 'go above and beyond', when we asked for assistance in finding a specific activity (golf). They simply provided a phone number which we were not able to dial, even though we were able to dial other numbers in BA. Another staff member made the effort a couple days later and it was too late. 2. The WI-FI was very poor in our room. Many times we had to go down the hall to get connected.

The helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. The front desk always answered our questions and helped us plan our adventure. The location was great. There was always a bank, cab stand, etc within a block or two. I would not hesitate to stay there again. It was a delightful experience.

The location was great for access to the subway system, San Telmo Markets and Plaza de Mayo. It also had good access to the Hop On Hop Off bus and to shopping in Florida Street. I liked the breakfasts - great choice of food tho' the hot food wasn't that hot and ran out by 9am, The bar was good too, and I appreciated the use of the computer in the business centre as my own laptop broke during our holiday. The reception and bar staff were lovely - very friendly and very professional. The hotel was very popular with tourists from all over the world and for most of our stay, it was completely booked out. The one thing I didn't like so much was that the streets around Microcentre were dirty and there was a lot of graffitti. While this is not the hotel's problem, it doesn't really look that inviting or safe from a tourist perspective. However I cannot stress enough that we never had a problem at all when we were staying there in terms of safety etc. My only issue with the hotel was initially we were allocated a room which was like an internal room with a window opening onto a void in the building. The blinds had to be drawn the whole time otherwise other guests could see into the room making it very dark. We asked to be moved and the staff happily met our request - I don't think those rooms should be classified as "superior".

Excellent Location which is right in the middle of ba and you can walk to many major attractions, as well as the subway station. Many restaurants and small supermarkets within 5 minutes walking distance. There was one particular staff who was not helpful. Will complain directly to the hotel. Others are good. The jacuzzi on the rooftop was not cleaned at all and was full of dirt in the water. They might clean it upon request but as a hotel they should always keep it clean.

if the hotel clerk had not point out which airport i was flying out of i would have missed my flight therefore might have missed my expedition trip to the antarctic not only did he mention that he showed me where to get the local bus. he went the extra mile for his customer and i will never forget it. tipped him well. overall, the staff was GREAT, room clean, all amenties, good breakfast.

It's very central and close to a spanish language school - Academia Buenos Aires. Good for City-Sightseeing. Hotel liegt sehr zentral, nahe der Sprachschule Academia Buenos Aires. Sehr gute Lage auch für Stadtbesichtigung. Room with almost no Daylight. Zimmer mit fast keinem Tageslicht (kleiner Innenhof).

Besides the location, which is very good, half a block to Calle Florida/Calle Peru and one and a half to the Plaza de Mayo (Plaza Mayor), it's a quiet and silent hotel. The breakfast is also very good, with a selection of natural juices, breads and a nice chocolate/dulce de leche cake. The hotel keep reserving room # 106, even though the staff know it has a disgusting smell of sewage, what lead me to ask for a change of rooms, what was done immediately. The rate quality/price is not very good anymore and the staff is absolutely inert and barely give a good morning (the great exception is the doorman).

“The hotel is downtown, yet central to everything. Basic and simple, good value for money. The area whilst a little run down, is safe and as a female solo traveller I felt completely safe. There is a great restaurant next door and a great little plaza with little coffee shops and cocktail places next door. Recoleta is about a 45 min walk. What makes this place is the amazing staff. English speaking (which I found actually rarer than I thought in Buenos Aires). The guys at the front desk could not be more helpful with luggage, directions, advice, tours etc .. I would stay again but only because the staff are so fabulous.” Charlotte, Bournemouth |
