Bellman was awesome. Great location. Free wifi.
Internet access should be free in all area and not just public area.
You can't beat the location for walkable distances to a lot of Buenos Airies sites or subway stops - the breakfast was really fantastic. We used the Republica as a place to keep our heavy bags when we went on short trips around Argentina - they kept our big bags safe for no charge!
Tiny elevators... not a big problem
Location next to the obelisco
Free WiFi only at reception, bed quite small for 2 people, staff did help when asked for but was not very courtous. I stayed at the Republica several times on my last trip two years ago and it seems there is no maintainance beeing done. It also used to be cleaner (the bathroom was dirty and there where hairs on the floor).
Clean Nice view of Obelisk One English speaking staff who is very helpful to tell us where to have meals and how to get around. Breakfast is good.
Some noise if people are talking outside.
Location, lifts, buffet breakfast
No free WiFi in rooms, too small shower, thin walls-could hear neighbours' conversations, traffic noise.
Many options for breakfast
I booked the room with two separate beds and they changed it later. Too small room for two persons
The hotel is well located. The minimum required from a hotel is provided.
There was a noise provoked by a machine at each 30 minutes, more and less. I had to wear ear tampon but it did not bother my companion, on the other hand. Too crowded, but it is expected taking on account location/price.
The location only.
1. They charge Internet in a 4-star hotel, are you serious? Hello, we are in 21st century! Even hostels provide free Internet in Europe! Update yourselves a bit! 2. Poor staff, you look at their lips to hear some more. You beg for information. 3. Poor breakfast, for a 4-star hotel, the selection is pretty basic. I had much better options in a 3-star hotel in Rio. 4. Smelly rooms, they do not have a fire alarm in any room and people can smoke inside. 5. The bed was so soft that when we laid on it, we were almost touching the ground. 6. The entire hotel, inside and outside, require refurbishment.
the perfect location, at the center of everything (particularly, public transportation, taxis, etc). Nice bed.
bathroom and shower somewhat small; if you have to set a lot of items. them may be short of plug adaptors if you need one, you have to pay if you want wifi in your room, 2 computers with wifi in the lobby, that you have to pay, and sometimes out of order. A large turn-over at the reception, which may make them mistakes by being unaware of things (fortunately, the manager know how to fix these unpleasant shortcomings). breakfast just acceptable. The difference between room types might be very large, in area, location (view), number of plugs, etc.
location es the best
staff are not very helpfull. If you ask them to call a taxi, they answer "go out and you will find it". We asked for a Limo,
La vista de la habitación al frente
You have to pay extra for hot tub, sauna and even WiFi. Sent laundry out and was charged $150.00.(more then the 3 night hotel bill). The traffic noise was very load.
The balcony view..
Location is very convenient! Value for money, good rates compared to other hotels. There is Wifi but only free at lobby area.
Breakfast is great but we stayed for 4 nights and they were the same every morning. Suggestion to change it a bit :)
The location is the best.
Rooms are extremely small, If you have more than two suitcases, there will not enough space for you. The bathroom was not very clean, and the bed was very bad. I will not repeat this experience.
Location and value for money
Location is great from a tourist point of view. Very centrally located for site seeing, shopping, local food sampling etc. Has a good spa (well priced). Breakfast is good. Great value for money. Helpful staff.
A bit run down - but no big issue.
Great location. Great Apa.
A bit tacky, but OK by and large.
LOCATION OF HOTEL WAS GOOD AND SPA FACILITIES
WHILST APPRECIATE LOCATION ON MAIN ROAD EVEN ON THE 10TH FLOOR ROAD NOISE VERY LOUD COULD IMPROVE ON SOUND PROOFING
Price and location with excellent view on the icon of Buenos Aires. I recommend this hotel to everyone. Reception was helpful and friendly.
If you staying longer you need to get use to the same variety of breakfast everyday. From the main square there is lots of noice and lights comming in to the room but this fact is not changing my opinion due to the great view. Will book this hotel for sure again when I will come back to BA.
Location was perfect for a tourist
Good situation in buenosares. The personnal have good service.
Impossible to sleep is not quiet because of the elevators noise, doors, the rooms are to small and Withaout maintenance, and not clean, I am sorry is not 4*! I was to the americatowers and there is no comparaison it s 4*to!
The staff were very helpful and the room was always clean and tidy. Location was perfect. And the spa was a nice touch.
