Best Thing was the bed and staff quite friendly
A bit noisy and not very clean. Given that there isnt any breakfast or any room service included I'd say this place is overpriced.
Clean and nice room Helped us that hotel staff spoke excellent english and were helpful Great location beside Av De Mayo with excellent food and bars around
We had to leave very early, Zac packed us a breakfast which was left in the fridge for us
Everything was very, very good
Good location and very clean. Personnel very friendly.
Noise from the street (no double windows).
Staff were very helpful. Good location and nice rooms! Comfy bed and amazing shower
You have a kitchenette in your room but you have to pay extra for room cleaning. When paying this much for a room a simple bin empty and top up of toilet paper should be provided for free. Unfortunately the pool was out of action when we were there
After 28 hours of travelling from London this hotel was perfect. Arguably the most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in, location was ideal (15 minute walk from plaza de mayo) and the staff was very welcoming kind with amazing knowledge of the city.
The street was a little due to traffic, but did not effect us sleeping.
Breakfast is not included in the rate
Space in the room, location, cosy bed and the ultra excelent work of Frank, at the reception. Congratulations for him for the wonderful job.
Few things were to be fixed in the room, as the window was not closing properly, there was a small leaking in the sink, and the knob was loose in the bathroom. But they were all fixed. Also there was no chairs in the room and very few cooking facilities in the kitchen.
Location was great, rooms were spacious
Our shower flooded several times causing water to go through the kitchen as well. The staff did not seem to be that interested in helping and fixing the problem. We had to ask twice just to get fresh towels after we used the other ones mopping up the water.
cleaning and noise pollution
Minimalism. Cleaness. Price. Staff
The receptionists were not bad.
Upon mu arrival they gave a piece of paper at the reception. One of the items on the paper was about the smoking ban in the room. It was written that the guest would be charged a penalty of 600 pesos if found out that he smoked in the room. It is so ugly that a hotel you are paying warns and threatens you to punish. I shared my feeling with the reception but they were indifferent. Moreover, I would never stay at this hotel if I had noticed that there is such a ban. On the other hand, the building does not have a central heating system, there is just a airconditioner to warm up the room. As the windows were so large and did not close smoothly the airconditioner was not enough. I got sick because of the cold. So it would not be a good place to stay especially during winter time.
good location and wifi
need a bit of refurbishment.
The staff. They couldn't do enough for you.
Road noise. The windows were pathetic for keeping out noise.
Location WiFi was super fast Front Desk was very helpful
I was impressed with the size of the room and it's airiness. It was very quiet. The refrigerator and microwave with glasses and dishes made it very pleasant and convenient relax and snack at your leisure. The staff was very accommodating and efficient.
The sidewalks and some of the neighboring streets were a bit scruffy but it was not an unsafe area.
Very good location for sightseeing. Obelisk, Plaza de mayo, Casa rosada, Teatro Colon, San telmo district...you can walk within a minutes. All front staff speaks English. The room is large and clean. Bed is king size double bed. Excluding maid service but it can order only 50peso. Credit card payment is available and surcharge is free.
First day When we came back to our room, There were many ants in the kitchen. Equipment in kitchen was poor; Plates, glasses, coffee cups, knives, folks, spoons, microwave and kettle. That's all equipment in the kitchen. I needed wine opener ....... I felt the noise from street is a bit loud.
Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and surprisingly large rooms for the price. Great wifi for those who can't live without. Recommended.
location and friendly staff
Excellent hotel, great staff, great location, very close to the Lima metro station. Highly recommended.
A perfect place to stay!!!
Wonderful location, everyone on staff was extremely helpful.
Located on a street that is very dark at night. Bathroom showed signs of water damage/mold. Hallway lights were turned off - had to find room in darkness. Despite these issues, it was an excellent value for the money spent and I would definitely book there again.
On the whole, the apartment was nice and spacious, clean and reasonably well kept, though it is a bit dated and could do with some finishing touches. The staff are all superb - very helpful with excellent English, and they pointed us in the direction of the finest steak I've ever eaten! The location is excellent, very central and only 100m from the huge 9 Julio Ave. There is a Dia convenience store opposite the front door, and a larger and better Carrefour supermarket just 200m away. The apartment itself has almost everything you might need, including a nice tv with plenty of English movie channels. I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone wanting to stay in central BA, but if I was to return I would probably choose to stay in the much nicer Recoleta area.
The central location meant this place was VERY noisy. We were on the first floor though, so maybe higher apartments wouldn't suffer so badly. A few of the fittings could do with being fixed too - we had a faulty toilet seat, and we had to hold the shower head in the shower as the fixture was knackered (though the pressure and temperature were both excellent). Another small issue was the lack of electricity sockets in the apartment - we had to unplug the microwave or fridge just to boil the kettle or charge our phones, however this seems to be common across Argentina and it might be wise to travel with an extension/Multi adaptor.
The staff is very pleasant and helpful!
My room was not cleaned everyday, the number of towels left in the room was never sufficient for the guests, my matress was very old and with defects (and I'm 6 months pregnant), the breakfast is not buffet, it's served by an attendant that only speaks spanish, and it's hard to know the options to order.
