Hotel nicely set off from street with lawns and flowers. Relaxing lobby with several comfy sitting areas. Walking distance to main street shops.
Good location, a short walk from the city centre. Helpful staff. Pleasant facilities.
Breakfast a bit on the poor side.
everything was fine
Perfect economic respite after time in the mountains. Great staff.
Staff very helpful. It was a good surprise that one of them (Jonatas) even speak portuguese. The hotel is near El Calafate center. The breakfast was excellent. The dinner was also very good. The hotel also offers lunchbox, which was great for us because we had to wake up very early to the "Navegación Ríos the Hielo", which ends only at 14h and there is nothing to eat inside the boat. The room and bathroom were quite big.
There was a little bit of cigarrette smell inside our room. The restaurant was expensive.
Good hotel, spacious room, quiet and very clean. The stuff was very helpful (although only in the reception speak English, but it is the common problem for Argentinian hotels, instead we learned some Spanish words!). Special thanks to Jonathan Cisneros from the reception!!!
The location of the hotel was perfect! Not in middle of town but a short walk to the center of town. The breakfast was lovely and the decor and rooms were very nice. The staff was lovely, polite and very helpful. Overall a wonderful place to stay.
The only thing we were not fond of was the bed. The mattress was not a queen but 2 singles pushed together. This created a hard bump in the middle of the bed. If you like to snuggle with your partner this could be a problem. If you like to sleep separate from your partner this is no problem.
Location, just outside the centre, but still within acceptable walking distance. Staf really did their best in accomodating us.
Room was a bit small, not the best bed during our trip through Chile and Argentina
Staff there are very nice and helpful.
Breakfast doesn't have many options.
Great place to stay. Comfortable, good breakfast.
No wifi in room, just in reception
Service and Price is very nice. It's highly appreciated the service there.
The hotel is very nice with a charming entrance, located only a few blocks from downtown, and a helpful staff. Our room had the most amazing view to the lake in the back of the hotel. Despite the old carpet, the room was clean and the wi-fi connection was working. They had also a gym and a garden.
The breakfast could have more fruit options and cold cuts.
distance to the city centre
The staff were very helpful in arranging our outings and in answering questions. The lounge and dining area were very comfortable, and the room was nice - best shower in Argentina. The location was a plus, next door to an exceptional restaurant but also only a short way from the busier part of town.
Not having free internet available in the rooms was a pain, as the two public computers were old and often occupied.
Friendly and helpful staff, spacious clean room, wonderful view over the lake
The internet connection is really terrible! It works for a couple of minutes, is down, works again, etc. To the manager: please fix this. It is 2014.
Near good location.
The hotel is in a good location near to the town and also close for transport to the glaciers and national park. The staff are helpful and pleasant and kept our family luggage for a late check out. We ate in the restaurant and found the service professional and the food good. The rooms and bed are comfortable and the gardens well tended. All in all a good stay at a very reasonable price. A hotel to be recommended for couples and families alike.
The staff made the difference. everyone was very helpful and went out of their way to assist with any question or request we had. The hotel is beautiful, located a short walking distance from the center and is very quite and peaceful.
Good location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable.
Position was really helpful to get to shops and bus to Glaciarium. Had two diffrerent stays and two rooms. Second room bigger but first more than adequate. Both were comfortable and clean. In both we had a lovely view of the garden which is homely and well kept. There was a very relaxed feel about the hotel. We don't usually use the restaurants but did several times and the food ws lovely and an excellent price. All staff were polite and very helpful. I have recommended this hotel to our travel agent for those who want value for money and convenience of position. Thank-you Bernadette
The magnificent views across the lovely and well tended garden. The ibises were a bonus. The restaurant was a real pleasure to dine in -Calafate has a lot of eating places but they are al cramped and a bit fast-foody.
The wifi wouldnt connect, a problem in this day and age.
Very nice place and helpful staff.
Not as close to downtown as we were led to believe but within walking distance for sure.
Location, facility ,breakfast good. Staff was nice.
Nice and clean. Staff great. Good value for the money.
Excellent service. They kept our luggage safely while we left for Torres Del Paine for 2 weeks. Our room was very clean, tidy, our balcony had great view of the garden and the lake and we could sleep well, beds were comfortable (not too soft). Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is close to the city centre and restaurants.
