We wanted to save money on taxi, the nearest subway station was about 10 blocks away (about 0.6 miles because 1 block is about 100 meters). There is no one at the front desk from 2:00am -8:00am, if you arrive early like we did, you have to kill time until 8am (the nearby Starbucks doesn't open until 7:30am). If you are a guest and comes back after 2:00am, you can call a number to have someone open the door for you.
My friend and I had a really nice 3-night stay at this Boutique hotel. The room was cozy, spacious, and very clean, there was a room-safe, the bed was super comfortable, and the AC was good (we went in Dec/Jan), and I liked their shampoo and conditioner.
Continental breakfast consist of bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, and made to order eggs, it was actually the best breakfast we had on our trip.
I think the most amazing part of the hotel were the staff members, Silvina and Paula are the primary staff members, Lorenzo (the owner works at night) didn’t speak a word of English, but he helped us with the help of Google translate. This Boutique hotel definitely has it together, they keep track of the appointments they made for their guests, they even reminded me that my taxi to the airport was reserved for 7:30pm and told me only pay the driver 330 pesos and no more. The hotel also helped me exchange money (at a way better rate than the bank).
