Gorgeous rooms, very very comfy bed, friendly staff.
Sissi Haz is an adorable hotel in a swank area of Palermo. The hosts are very gracious. Even though their English was limited, they were totally able to help us with anything we needed. Breakfast was standard and adequate. The wireless was strong. It is easy to walk to restaurants, shopping and the metro. You’ll love the looks of both the interior and the exterior of the house. It was a great stay.

Although we typically stay in larger, higher-end hotels, the Sissi Haz became our home away from home while in ba and we loved it! Sylvia, Paula and Lorenzo looked out for us during our stay and gave great suggestions for restaurants and coordinated our taxis to and from Palermo. Great tips and, as two women traveling to an unknown city, we appreciated how safe Sissi Haz is. The rooms are larger than European rooms (ask for room 101), good breakfast, lovely outdoor terrace for evening wine drinking before dinner. Wifi is a little spotty but prevalent throughout the boutique hotel. Rooms include a great room safe and they have a better exchange rate than the banks. Gracias a Sylvia y Paula!
We got lucky and our flight that was supposed to land around 4am was delayed and landed around 10am. I can understand that it would be difficult to kill a few hours before Sissi Haz opens. However, Sylvia and Paula were very accommodating at having our room ready early even though we were delayed. Just email them!
Perfect location, inmaculated, staff always friendly. Couldn't ask for more.
The owners and staff of Sissi Haz are extremly friendly and helpful. It feels like being at home - surrounded by nice people and carefully chosen furniture and decoration. Very nice break-fast. More than just bread and dulce de leche :-)
The location was extremely convenient for me, it was close to La Viruta and plaza Serrano, plaza italia, right at the heart of Palermo. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The place was cozy, nice, comfortable and beautiful, thanks to the owner/architect who create the sisi haz. Will recommend the place for sure!!
wifi connection doesn't work sometimes.
Friendlyness of staff, comfort and great position, just a short walk away from the beautiful plaza armenia and in perfectly located in palermo neighbourhood, near to hip bars and cafes, all kinds of restaurants and fashionable stores for daytime shopping.
My friend and I had a really nice 3-night stay at this Boutique hotel. The room was cozy, spacious, and very clean, there was a room-safe, the bed was super comfortable, and the AC was good (we went in Dec/Jan), and I liked their shampoo and conditioner. Continental breakfast consist of bread, fresh fruits, yogurt, and made to order eggs, it was actually the best breakfast we had on our trip. I think the most amazing part of the hotel were the staff members, Silvina and Paula are the primary staff members, Lorenzo (the owner works at night) didn’t speak a word of English, but he helped us with the help of Google translate. This Boutique hotel definitely has it together, they keep track of the appointments they made for their guests, they even reminded me that my taxi to the airport was reserved for 7:30pm and told me only pay the driver 330 pesos and no more. The hotel also helped me exchange money (at a way better rate than the bank).
We wanted to save money on taxi, the nearest subway station was about 10 blocks away (about 0.6 miles because 1 block is about 100 meters). There is no one at the front desk from 2:00am -8:00am, if you arrive early like we did, you have to kill time until 8am (the nearby Starbucks doesn't open until 7:30am). If you are a guest and comes back after 2:00am, you can call a number to have someone open the door for you.
Very lovely family with a good sense of humour
Rooms and bathrooms good size and facilities excellent. Nice shady courtyard. Good value stay in nice location to wander round Palermo and on bus routes for sites beyond. Staff very helpful. Breakfast ok tho coffee was poor. Fortunately there are a lot of cafés outside the door.
Breakfast could be better but pretty standard for the region. Too many pastries for my palette, coffee was rank but fruit selection good. Everything else at the hotel was great
Location, in the mix, great restaurants
The property was so cute, like a chalet in the Alps. Very comfortable spacious room. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Liked everything about it, only sad to stay so short a time.
The owner of the hotel is an architect and this is very noticable by the stylish looks of the hotel.
wifi was not always working.
Room decoration and space Helpfull Staff Relaxed athmosphere Perfect location
The accommodations are excellent: rooms are large, beds are comfortable, and everything is extremely clean. Breakfast is great. The staff is friendly and helpful, especially Paula, who consistently gave us good advice on things to do and places to eat. Can't recommend highly enough!
This is a wonderful little place located in a great location in the heart of Palermo. It is very close to lots of great bars and restaurants and in a wonderful neighbourhood to just wander around or enjoy a coffee in a street cafe. The room was fabulous, large and with everything you could need including a great king size bed. The staff are friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful with local knowledge. Tip : take US dollars as they offer a great exchange rate.
Even though english speaking is a bit of a challenge here, you know you are welcome and they will look after you, your interests and your belongings! You can trust this place like your own family. The rooms and beds are very spacious and characteristic. Rooms at the back more quiet than at the front. The bathrooms are small and perhaps somewhat dated. But all is very clean and well maintained. Location for Palermo shopping, eating and clubbing is excellent. A little far from the underground through! So if you plan most of your time away from Palermo, you may need to consider this. Its excellent value for money, especially if you pay in pesos against the local exchange rate!
Only as a minor point, you need to know that this place has no special facilities like a gym, pool, spa, restaurant or bar. For that, you need to go to larger hotels.
Excellent location in one of the trendiest areas of Buenos aires with great access to some of the best restaurant and bars. Lorenzo, Sylvia, Paola and the rest of the team were very helpful, warm and friendly. The room was very clean, spacious, bigger than king size bed, quiet area as well as excellent breakfast and service all along. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Beautiful, quiet, clean rooms. Very helpful staff.
Nice staff, amazing room, perfect location.
It was awkward how the front door was set up. Having to personally let in and out of the front door by the individual at reception was strange.
The people who own and run the hotel; the ambiance, the cleanliness, the willingness to be helpful, the cheery smiles both early in the morning and late at night, their attention to their guests......
There is nothing negative to say about my experience at this hotel.
I spent a week at Sissi Haz, and every aspect of my visit was delightful. The hotel was interesting, beautiful, and impeccably maintained. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful; their thoughtfulness and genuine interest in their guests made my visit to Buenos Aires so much more personal and enjoyable than it would otherwise have been. (And breakfast was terrific!) I highly recommend the hotel and hope that I will have a chance to stay there again in the not-too-distant future!
Breakfast was varied, good location, strong wi-fi in room, near metro station and good restaurants
The hotel is very charming and has interesting decor. The bed is one of the most confortable I've slept in, amazing. The room was spacious and clean. It had a vaulted ceiling and shuttered windows out to the street. It was very safe as is the area. There are many great shops and restaurants nearby. Lastly, the staff, Paula, Lorenzo, and Silvina, are the best. The are helpful and genuine, they care and want you to have a good time, you feel like you are at home. Thanks guys!
I wish I could have stayed longer!
