Even though english speaking is a bit of a challenge here, you know you are welcome and they will look after you, your interests and your belongings! You can trust this place like your own family. The rooms and beds are very spacious and characteristic. Rooms at the back more quiet than at the front. The bathrooms are small and perhaps somewhat dated. But all is very clean and well maintained. Location for Palermo shopping, eating and clubbing is excellent. A little far from the underground through! So if you plan most of your time away from Palermo, you may need to consider this. Its excellent value for money, especially if you pay in pesos against the local exchange rate!
Only as a minor point, you need to know that this place has no special facilities like a gym, pool, spa, restaurant or bar. For that, you need to go to larger hotels.
Excellent location in one of the trendiest areas of Buenos aires with great access to some of the best restaurant and bars. Lorenzo, Sylvia, Paola and the rest of the team were very helpful, warm and friendly. The room was very clean, spacious, bigger than king size bed, quiet area as well as excellent breakfast and service all along. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.
Beautiful, quiet, clean rooms. Very helpful staff.
Nice staff, amazing room, perfect location.
It was awkward how the front door was set up. Having to personally let in and out of the front door by the individual at reception was strange.
The people who own and run the hotel; the ambiance, the cleanliness, the willingness to be helpful, the cheery smiles both early in the morning and late at night, their attention to their guests......
There is nothing negative to say about my experience at this hotel.
I spent a week at Sissi Haz, and every aspect of my visit was delightful. The hotel was interesting, beautiful, and impeccably maintained. The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful; their thoughtfulness and genuine interest in their guests made my visit to Buenos Aires so much more personal and enjoyable than it would otherwise have been. (And breakfast was terrific!) I highly recommend the hotel and hope that I will have a chance to stay there again in the not-too-distant future!
Breakfast was varied, good location, strong wi-fi in room, near metro station and good restaurants
The hotel is very charming and has interesting decor. The bed is one of the most confortable I've slept in, amazing. The room was spacious and clean. It had a vaulted ceiling and shuttered windows out to the street. It was very safe as is the area. There are many great shops and restaurants nearby. Lastly, the staff, Paula, Lorenzo, and Silvina, are the best. The are helpful and genuine, they care and want you to have a good time, you feel like you are at home. Thanks guys!
I wish I could have stayed longer!
A great hotel in a great location. Higly recommended!
Family who owned it very friendly and helpful as was rest of staff. Great location.
Rooms a bit dark
Attention to detail is the key to their product, both with the room presentation and the type of people employed to help guests. Owned by an architect, i believe, the accommodation design is unique, interesting, yet practical. The proximity to fabulous shops, eateries and landmarks such as the zoo, makes the property even more attractive to travellers.
All the staff were very attentive and good
Poor lighting No elevator put on top floor Bathroom old Few power outlets
Location great for strolling and close to food and shopping; loved breakfast and staff recommendations and help on everything from money to getting around town
Rooms spacious but dark
Very well located botique hotel with very interested and helpful staff, on a quiet street with comfortable bed and great shower. Also a nice breakfast in a delightful courtyard.
Having to leave!
I paid the extra for the deluxe room and it was worth the extra cost. They have a good wi-fi connection. Lorenzo and Sylvia were perfect hosts
I was informed that breakfast would be served in my room for 2 of the 4 mornings. This was disappointing because they have a cute dining area and outside patio where you can have breakfast. I also asked 3 times for a problem with the safe to be rectified but it was not done
Wonderful friendly service. We were welcomed like family! Room was huge with nice beds and good aircon. Fantastic central location in trendy Soho Palermo. Quirky alpine design, very unusual.
All else excellent but breakfast only average.
I especially liked Paula, the afternoon receptionist. She was excellent in helping my son and I find the best restaurants, jazz clubs, gyms, etc. She is a pleasant, caring person who certainly tries to make your vacation enjoyable.
My only complaint was the price the hotel charged for cleaning and pressing 5 shirts - $20.00 US. The next day I went to the laundry and only paid $6.00 US for two loads to be done?
Very good assistance from the owner during our stay and a very clean hotel !!!
A bit noisy if your room is on the street side. Ask for a garden room.
Well located and very comfortable.
A dark decoration and windows always closed.
Family owned. Husband/father, an architect designed the hotel. Lorenzo & Sylvia are great hosts. Their daughters were both very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
Room was on first floor with two shutter windows. Room small but comfortable. Helpful staff. Very good breakfast.
On first floor. No lift. No fridge or tea making facilities.
We liked everything, the location was perfect, the staff very helpful, the room well equipped and the breakfast superb, served in a courtyard with eggs cooked any style..
Excellent hotel Friendly staff Top location in Palermo Very nicely furnished rooms, although the rooms on the top floor have little daylight.
Breakfast is very basic, should be better at that price. If going out after 2am, you need to advise the owner or call upon returing, so there is no "real" 24 hour reception.
Very nice hotel, lovely room, nice friendly staff, great breakfast, nice late check-out
