Wish I could have stayed longer :(
Location, design, price
Beautiful butique hotel in tango style, comfortable clean rooms, nice and helpfull staff, very good position close to the sity centre (Florida shopping street), breakfast quite simple but ok. Great hotel not only for tango fans and fans of vintage style.
The location was excellent. The hotel was exactly as advertised. Boutique, charming, comfortable, clean, excellent value.
Excellent service, interesting memorabilia in the lobby and dining room and in the room decor or the golden age of tango.
This is a wonderful boutique hotel - maybe 4-6 rooms per floor. I imagine staying there is what it was like to travel to high end hotels 50 years ago when they weren't giant chains: fantastic central location, impeccable service and personal attention, and beautiful up-to-date rooms with modern amenities. The staff is attentive (they keep the front door locked, so they know who their guests are to let them in), proactive (they'll check your schedule and offer to call you a remis), and helpful. When I arrived, the employee at the front desk didn't speak English very well, but he found me someone who did. Another employee brought my luggage to my room (I could have done it myself), and then showed me around the room - where the light switches were, the AC, and so on. The AC was lovely and cool, the rooms were spacious and perfect for personal or business travel, and the WiFi worked great and was free. And they offer a nice continental free breakfast in the morning. Oh - and a double room came with a king sized bed! This is the kind of place where returning on another trip would feel a bit like coming home again.
In a city where people rarely eat dinner before 10p, it might have been nice to have breakfast a little later, i.e. more like 11a than 10a. And there was no place except the middle of the street for my taxi to pull up...I felt a bit bad about that. But both are minor points, this is a great hotel.
The staff was outstanding, lovely atmosphere, nice and very clean rooms, conveniently located. I will suggest it to my friends
At check out We asked for a taxy to the airport but after 28 minutes waiting we decided to look for a taxy on our own. It was not the staff fault, but the private take company they count on is not really reliable.
Especially Rudolfo is supporting the guests with great motivation and knowledge
Location. Breakfast was good.
Beds were two singles, not two doubles as booked. Staff encouraged tourist tour, but yellow tourist bus would have been better
Location and old style Buenos Aires atmosphere.
WiFi only worked in the lobby. One of the reception staff was very unfriendly. They charged us a bottle of water we did not drink after a 5 nights stay (the price of the bottle was ridiculously low compared to the full amount we paid).
Very welcoming staff, very helpful. Nice breakfast and great room.
Can't think of anything!
very nice place in a great location!
Only there for a short while but liked the building which was full of character, the comfortable room, the staff who were helpful and provided a good breakfast and great position near to centre but seemingly pretty quiet.
It would have been great to have had tea making facilities in our room and the wi fi was perhaps a bit unstable.
Attentive and friendly staff quick to respond to needs. Good breakfast. Nicely renovated and decorated with old time tango paraphanalia. Would stay there again.
Fridge in room needed to be tucked under shelf and not out on the carpet. Bed had just a single sheet tossed atop bare mattress, no pad.
Very helpful staff. Close to centre
Very quiet street at night
Quiet and hassle free. Cleaned room when you decided to go out for the day. Good breakfast - omelette and coffee to order if wanted, on top of standard options. Reception really helpful after initially a bit stand offish. Definitely stay again
Wifi was a bit iffy in our room (really good in toilet!) but it was a holiday so no big deal
Very friendly staff. Beautiful rooms and great location.
- small but nicely furnished hotel - good location, close to Av Florida and Theatro Colon - breakfast was nice - paying tax could be avoided by paying cash in USD or Euro
Very nice atmosphere! Clean, confortable, very good position, staff very supportive!!
Location and rooms interiors are great, attention to details in everything, staff extremely nice and helpful.
nothing negative to mention
The staff is very friendly. I emphasize the treatment given by Rodolfo to all the hosts. Outstanding. Location is very good, a short walk from Galeria Pacifico and Puerto Madero.
Room was attractive roomy and well decorated great shower and quiet Breakfast simple but nice Charming hotel
Perfect location, safe place and neighborhood. Clean and comfortable rooms. Very helpful staff. Place with tango soul.
Staff is very helpful in providing information about the city. Hotel is beautiful
Cost of Limo service I stayed 6 nights and need 2 hour late checkout but their offer was $90.00 US for 2 hours late checkout
beautifully decorated from the 50s, antique telephones, lots of tango memorabilia and photos, red velvet curtains, tango music, very helpful and accommodating staff
no gym or spa, the"gym" is just a walking machine, no weights one has to the "spa" is a jacuzzi and guests have to book a time and then it's just for those guests, open limited hours
