Well, it was an experience
The booking.com 7,8 score seems far too high for this hotel - I surely wasn't expecting such a dump! It is actually difficult to choose where to begin with the negative things - it's not that we had a single bad experience but more that everything in the hotel seemed totally substandard even for this pricegroup, specially when BA has a lot of totally nice cheap hotels. But, first and foremost, there are cockroaches and the unusual room desing -shower opens straight to room with no proper door between the sanitary areas and the sleeping area- makes sure they will come to contact with you and your luggage. Everything in the hotel is worn out, outdated, and in different stages of disrepair. The elevators are dodgy. The carpets are slashed. The rooms smell of decades of cigarettes. Electronics work in mysterious ways -our room had a lamp that wouldn't swich off and AC that wouldn't switch on! The service in the reception is openly bad, even though in a cheerful way. You will not get breakfast unless you rise very early: after 9.00 the breakfast room is constantly full and the only kitchen maid cannot produce enough food for everybody. Really, avoid this place.
Location was great, bed was OK and breakfast was good.
Room was clean but old and plain. Bathroom was disgusting and in need of much repair. A/C did not work and we had to move to a different room.
Great localization; Close to Calle Florida; Close to Puerto Madero; Close to Subte (Subway) Good breakfast with medialunas y dulce de leche.
Very good location OK breakfast
The floor was in the middle of renovation- hole in the wall and plaster ceiling in the bathroom. Not enough hot water for 2 people... some lights didn't work AC shot down in the middle of the night. Internet shot down at 11pm and when it was on, very slow connection.
Breakfast, wifi in room, clean towels every day
It's a standard hotel, everything was within the expectation. We had to leave before breakfast.
Location. Breakfast was nice. Room at floor 6 was not noisy.
Cleanliness a bit low.
The location is great. The hotel has all it needs to live comfortably in the heart of Buenos Aires. Great value for the money. Also great WIFI and a computer for the services of the visitors. Nice breakfast.
