Ultra Hotel Buenos Aires  

De locatie van het Ultra Hotel is subliem. Gelegen in het hart van Palermo Viejo, bevind je je temidden van boutique shops, koffie tentjes en restaurants. Het hotel heeft ook een zwembad op het dak wat een aardige verfrissing is als je die wilt opzoeken. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar goed. De bedden uitstekend. En als laatste wil ik het personeel van Ultra aanbevelen. De mensen zijn zeer behulpzaam en 'lovable'.

Het hotel berekent een eigen exchange rate, hetgeen kan betekenen dat je eindrekening vele malen hoger is dan waar je uiteindelijk akkoord op hebt gegeven bij je booking. Dit levert enige frustratie op van zowel gasten als het hotelpersoneel. Er valt te onderhandelen maar dit is natuurlijk nooit iets dat je graag wilt hebben op een vakantie. Dus wees gewaarschuwd.

Aesthetically the hotel has a lot of character and charm. The atmosphere is relaxed but there's still a nice buzz too. The rooms are well designed and the attention to detail was great. The location is perfect.

The website doesn't mention that the pool is only open during summer months (December/January).

The hotel was too expensive for the kind of service it provides and the staff was not committed at all to provide any kind of it. The breakfast was poor too.

Great location. Had a superior double room and they where spacious.

There where no shower curtain which made the floor in the toilette part of the bathroom all wet. Also not enouch space to put toilette stuff next to the sink. Missed ham and cheese for breakfast.

Best was the staff who were so courteous and helpful and professional and could not do enough to make our stay so wonderful. They all need to be paid more money!! Dont lose them they are your best asset. A big thankyou to them. Rooms were lovely and clean and quiet. Location is excellent.

Reception was helpful.

Full payment at check-in is required, kind of disturbing. Bedsheets are not changed unless asked for.

The staff was unfriendly and useless! Especially Santiago. They had problems with credit cards and had to wait 2h at the reception because of the policy. One computer for internet in the entire hotel plus was very slow. We understand that the hotel was design but not at all a 4 star as a lot of dust every where. Swimming pool not clean.

Great reception from the front desk, and great music playing in the facilities. The bed was extremely confortable and room 15 was quite spacious compared to the others in our group.

I loved everything, but for my grandparents, the lights were a little too low. Corridors and bathrooms can get quite dark at night, but this is the hotel style. The music for them was a bit loud during breakfast, but then again, the young ones loved it. Would reccomend for young couples, not so much for elderly.

Very rude staff. Tried to give us a room with a bathroom door that doesn't close. Very poor value for money. Roooms were very dark and in need of serious maintenance. tv did not work and when told they did nothing to fix it.

O hotel é sujo e mal cuidado. Não pode se vender, como se vende. As fotos de divulgação são totalmente diferentes da realidade. O quarto é escuro e feio. O banheiro é cheio de infiltrações e tem uma aparência péssima.

Localização excelente.

O espaço do café da manhã foi disponibilizado um dia para terceiros , sendo proibido para os hóspedes.Café da manhã fraco.

O Hotel é lindo, gostoso e confortável. Mas por ser lindo, conceitual demais, ele carece de verdade. Falta alma.

O que não gostamos mesmo foi a limpeza. Deixou muito a desejar. Ficamos uma semana e houve dias que a limpeza foi feita de forma superficial.
