Rooms were too small. Poorly laid out. It was noisy. Not a place I would stay again.
Breakast and the staff
No cuboard and coffe in the rooms.
Maybe the painted black rooms were chic when they were new and fresh but now the rooms are a bit old and worn it just makes it dark and dingy and cave-like. Even with every single light on in the place. Made the room probably feel dirtier than it was but I didn't even want to use the once-white towels that are now a worn, sad shade of grey. As well the messy/lazy paint job left paint splatters all over the white parts of the bathroom also making the sink, etc look permanently dirty. The corners of the room were dusty. I didn't venture the shower. The size of the room was fine for just me - i asked for one double bed and got two small single beds (i assume due to availability). The only staff member i interacted with wasn't overly friendly and did not give me the wifi code (required) on check-in and i had to go back down later to ask for it. i only spent one night here and wouldn't want to spend another. Felt more like a hostel than a hotel (i've stayed in nicer hostels). I'm not a picky traveler either. Booked off booking.com, didn't cost a lot but still felt like I overpaid. Also, warning if you're a light sleeper (thankfully i'm not), but walls are paper thin and i could hear everything, particularly in the hallway.
The friendly, helpful young man in reception who did much better than us at overcoming the language barrier. The wifi was also the best we had had on our travels so far.
The elevator - so tiny that two + luggage nearly didn't fit and then it was difficult to operate. The TV reception seemed very poor but not a problem as we weren't that interested in watching it anyway.
Location - walking distance to main attractions in Recoleta Rooms are quite spacious
Added taxes and charges at the check out (besides the 21%) The cockroach in the bathroom on our first day there Locking the hotel at night leaving us waiting outside for a good 15 min before somebody showed up The shady elevator
The rooms were really nice and clean. I liked the ambiance in the place. I got a big bed and a nice bathroom and shower. There decorator did a great job.
I am an American but I live and work in Argentina. I booked the room in pesos but Booking.com sent me an email with a us dollar price on the room. When I checked out of the hotel and wanted to pay in pesos they tried to charge the black market exchange rate. Because I know that is completely illegal for a business to do I argued with them and they promptly changed the bill to the official exchange rate. I wonder how many foreigners they get with that. Beware!
Service, staff, location
Size of rooms Breakfast not included No GYM Wi- fi intermitent
Safe location close to Domestic airport Breakfast above average
Exchange rate on the price and extras can be deceptive. A $56 room ended up costing >$100 with 3 items from the mini bar, taxes, breakfast and an unofficial exchange rate used with the credit card. Taxi recommended by the hotel was 25 minutes late.
shower didn't drain
nothing really, they acept cash
- 4 stars? ... not even 3 - smallest rooms ever - dirty - loud - ellevators does not work! - wifi is slow.... dont go!
1 location 2 staff 3 wi fi
Very small room. In general not a 4 star as marked in the announcement but recommendable
The hotel had an upmarket feel but for a budget price. Overall the hotel was good and the beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Breakfast was average but passable. Empanada store round the corner, convenience store on the corner and coffee shops a short stroll away. Not far by taxi to the city, Recoleta or Palermo.
The lifts were rather small and it was tight to fit two people and luggage. Also the lifts were dated with manual open and closing of doors required.
Room almost dark, dark walls, no shelf to place stuff in the bathroom, nearly no wardrobe, noisy elevator doors so noone can sleep, poor breakfast, high unexplained taxes added to the bill, invoice not discriminatted, I could list a dozen more ...... This is my second experience in differente Unique hotels in Buenos Aires, they never catch me again .......
Good location ! Clean nice people
clean, look nice, location, staffs are nice
sound proof is bad. I could hear some noise from other rooms next to mine at mid night. you should check what kind of adapters they have
Clean, functional, reliable supply of hot water, easy access to rest of city and safe and nice area.
Formal and rather aloof staff. Wanted me to "check out" and pay up days before I was due to leave.
It was a nice hotel, extremely well located, clean rooms, and friendly staff. We arrived late on a Friday and our check in was prompt and it was a relief to arrive and have a clean, comfortable room waiting for us.
The rooms are painted a dark purple and black and the hallways are all black. This gave the effect of everything being very dark, including in the daytime.
Very clean and moder
Staff a bit cold
It is a small hotel, lobby is small and friendly with the breakfast restaurant right there with a good choice of food items .Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms are small but have nice bed. easy chair, folding suitcase holder.Mini bar with nice choice . TV and good wifi. There is a full size computer in lobby. 5 medium blocks from busy Santa Fe street. Yes, I shall use this hotel again They have trusted taxis on call
Old and dirty
The location of the hotel was quite all right. La Recoleta Cemetery was within a walking distance, however getting to any other points of interest required getting a taxi or a bus.
The staff at the reception was rude and spoke only some very basic english (several words). When checking in you're asked to either leave your credit card details, which will be then stored on a piece of paper together with the card security code (!) in one of the drawers, or 100 USD as a deposit. The staff wouldn't accept argentinian pesos, it had to be dollars. Good we had them. The hotel rooms were dirty; There were stains on the pillows, bed sheets, the lamp and even the curtains. They also lack hairdryers. The lifts are tiny and can fit either four people squashed like sardines, or two people with their backpacks. The corridors are also quite narrow, which might be a trouble for guests with wheelchairs or buggies. It's not possible to order a taxi at the reception, unless you want to go to the airport. This can be arranged for a fixed price of 200-270 depending on the size of the car you need. We used this service and at the airport the driver told us that the price was actually going to be 320 peso, not 270 like the reception told us. Not a problem, provided that you have some spare change on you. The underground station is not so close by. You usually need to get a taxi. It was quite clear that no one really cared about the quality of our stay.

Poor internet reception
Great location and stylish interior
We had to pay extra for breakfast and to have wifi in our room. On our arrival the concierge was rude and unhelpful.
