Outstanding boutique hotel. Incredible staff who went to great lengths to make sure we were happy. Prior to our stay we had been ready to abandon our trip, so stressful had it been. Villa Mansa saved us. Located in between the wine farms, it's best if you have a hire car. But if you prefer to do wine tours and then spend the remainder of the day by the pool the restaurant is very good (and produces truly excellent empañdas). Large airy rooms with excellent beds. Loved the fact that we had a dedicated wine fridge in the room.
- view of the Andes - room - restaurant
helpful staff (booking Bodegas, renting a bike), very quiet area, good restaurant, solid Wi-Fi (streaming)
very isolated (no access to other restaurants or shops)
The information for direction to get the hotel in booking.com's website was wrong and we got lost! So we called them and kindly the one of staff ( may be owner) came to find and took us to the hotel.
All the staff were excellent; friendly, helpful, polite and the reception ladies had good English. The hotel organised a massage to be had on the premesis- It was amazing! The food was delicious, and a good included breakfast. We had a late bus to catch on our check out day and they let us stay longer than the usual check out time which was very kind. The rooms are huge, tastefully decorated & beds extremely comfortable. Good showers and nice to have a bath too.
It is a little remote which is nice in respect of having a relaxing get away and I understand that the hotel organises transfers necessary. There are vineyards nearby so it would be good to organise a trip to explore them from here but don't come here expecting countryside to walk in - the nearby road is busy and not really anywhere to explore on foot.
The staff was extremely helpful in arranging tours, meals at wineries, etc. Also the chef is amazing...we had some of our best meals at Villa Mansa .
The Wi-Fi did not reach into the room.
The room was impressive, as well as the lobby, restaurant, the grounds and especially the dogs :)
Very poor wifi only in hotel room, rest of the hotel was fine.
Location close to many good wineries. Quiet location with some views of the Andes mountains. Very nice staff and the owner was most accommodating. One of the best meals of our stay was prepared by the young chef at this place.
Difficult to find because generally speaking signage in this part of Argentina is very poor. Unfortunately, the sign for Villa Mansa had been knocked down they say by a truck and had not yet been replaced.
place is too pricy for what it offers, mainly compared to other options in the area. even for high season, room and type of hotel is not worth that money.
Lovely setting among vineyards. Great breakfast which is included; the menu is the same for lunch and dinner but the food is very good. Try the humitas which are excellent as is the charcuterie platter. The staff are very nice and helpful. While out of the way, the hotel is close to wineries so if you drive or have someone take you, you will be closer to many good ones from this hotel vs being in Mendoza proper. We used Malbec Symphony for all our touring needs and it worked well.
It is a little out of the way -- not much around to wander to if you are looking for shops or points of interest. Also, wifi is not available in all rooms -- the further you are from the lobby, the weaker the signal. I needed to leave my room to get a signal.
Stunning views, extremely comfortable rooms with high ceilings and lots of natural light. Viviana and Barbara were very helpful when trying to plan visits to bodegas.
Very limited menu at the restaurant for dinner. The hotel is very isolated and if you don't have a car you have to taxi everywhere which can get expensive.
The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. It is very serene. The owners have three golden labs which run around the property and it's a nice touch being able to play with them. The location is very central to the local town (5 min drive away). All receptionists were very helpful with booking wineries and restaurants. The facilities looked quite modern and there was local art posted on the walls which was really decorative. Free parking and wifi was great as well.
The restaurant menu is quite limited and there were not many options. One receptionist did not speak any English which was a massive struggle. The other two receptionists did speak English and they rotated shifts so that helped.
lovely wee place to chill out and relax, decent access to the many nearby vineyards - lovely wine selection - we were lead down to the cellar and told to pick our own!
We didnt have a car but it could have been useful, a bit out in the stick - but thats what we wanted Restaurant wasn't great, def some random flavour combinations!
