In the heart of Vienna's picturesque Spittelberg Quarter, the Hotel ViennArt is right next to the Museum Quarter and only a 3-minute walk from the Volkstheater Underground Station (lines U2 and U3)...

The air-conditioned Hotel Alpha Wien is in Vienna's elegant Josefstadt district with its numerous historic buildings and Town Hall, and just under a quarter of a mile from the Rathaus Underground...

I loved the decoration, the staff is very friendly and the food was really good.
The toilet is really nice with floor hitting, and never mention the design of rooms. It's very clean, and close to the museum area - 10-15 mins walk. The water for shower is awesome! We enjoy the restaurant a lot with two dinners eaten there, the price is very favorable too, just that it's a very busy restaurant that you'd better make reservation.
The pillow is too low and the beds are too high (for Asian people).
Very close to tube, which is 2 stops away from centre. Also short walk to main museum quarter. Rooms were well decorated with modern facilities.
I was told when I arrived I had to pay a deposit of €50, which was a surprise. Looking at bank statement I don't think I ever did - think confusion came from member of staff's level of English. (Though all other staff members were practically fluent). Room was smaller than expected
Room and hotel décor. Thoughtful and attentive staff.
Loved the design and the location was very convenient.
Nice location, great design, comfort, enjoyed everything
The decor and location
Not enough space in the room
Position, good and helpful stuff. Good bed, even bettet bathroom. Excellent breakfast bar and choice.
Too simple avanguard design and architecture, more industrial than urban. Heavy wall paintings, too confusing.
fitness with sauna, free mini and bike
Room is a little big small, view is not great
Nice location and nice team/ staff : excellent breakfast and good beds/ humoristic rooms
Sightbon courtyard / very softbpillows/ small tv / not a bright choice on restaurant menu
SERVICE IN THE RESTAURANT WAS VERY BAD ONE TIME OUT OF 3
Funny rooms and hotel design in general! Wonderful location
If you plan to come longer than weekend choose bigger rooms as in small (standard) no place for closes to wear on hangers and so on
The hotel was fabulous. Just what we had hoped, we payed a little bit extra for a city view which was well worth it. The room was very stylish, clean, warm and comfortable! The staff were so helpful and friendly. The restaurant was delicious and the roof top bar was very cool - amazing views. We loved the photobooth in the reception too! Great value for money and the location is perfect for taking in all the sights. We would definitely recommend to others and would love to go back.
That we had to leave so soon! We should have booked an extra day!
As part of my honeymoon we spent a night in Vienna (amazing city btw) and booked the 25 hours hotel in the Museums Quartier. I will start with the only positive aspect of this hotel: The location. I love Museums Quartier, it has so much to offer and the art is amazing (Klimt, Schiele, etc.).
I booked this hotel because it seemed to have a different personality and vibe to the usual hotel I stay at. When we arrived we were told we were upgraded. To my surprise the room was as small as my walk in closet (and I live in nyc!). The room was so small, there was no space for our suitcases, my husband and I, each traveled with a large and a small suitcase. The decorations are very particular, they looked interesting in the photographs but I must say that in person, maybe due to the signs of wear and tear and the poor upkeep, it looked dull and cheap. Everything in the room had a very IKEA feeling to it, very basic, and very, very WORN. The biggest downfall with this hotel was its management. We were told during check in that the hotel was equipped with a rooftop bar and that it was open till 1am. On our one night in Vienna, we had dinner and then decided to have one last drink at the rooftop bar instead of going out in the city. We arrived at the hotel at midnight and headed over to the rooftop. We arrived at the door of the at 12:05. The doorman/ bouncer, rejected us in a very rude manner and closed the door on my face. I thought this must have been a mistake because the bar is supposed to be open till 1am and it is only five past 12. I opened the door again and told the bouncer that we were guests and we were told that the bar was opened till one. While the bouncer decided to turn me down once more, in an even ruder manner, I was able to look into the bar and see that there were in fact lots of people there and drinks were being poured at that time. Being turned down a second time we decided to not try again. I was very angry at this, not only the fact that my husband and I were refused entry to a bar but that the bar is at the hotel where we were staying and it was up to the bouncer/doorman to decide in one look that we were not a good fit. I must say, my husband and I, both felt very discriminated and discouraged....
Brilliant location and a breath of fresh air compared to the other hotels in vienna. A quirky and chic hotel experience with a great finish.
Hotel put an authorisation hold on my card which stayed on my account after I had paid in full and checked out.
design of the room, whole design idea of the hotel, nice staff, audio station for smartphone or ipod
no spoons / tea, no kettle in the room, room looks tiny a bit
The hotel was quirky and comfortable with a great atmosphere. The location is just ideal, close to all the main places to see. Vienna is such a wonderful city, full of great achitecture and great welcoming people. We visited over New Year. The xmas markets, and the celebrations were all incredible and i would highly reccommend the hotel and the city to anyone.
Everything was great ... No complaints
everything just perfect
It's a lovely design hotel. Art shop at the lobby is smart. A little suprise waiting on your bed but unfortunately it's not a gift!you have to buy it from art shop. Very colorful and delicious breakfast. Wonderful location. Has a very trendy and cool roof bar , bad news; smoking allowed:(
Rooms are very small. You cannot find a place even for your luggages.
The staff were super friendly on check-in and made us feel very comfortable, very quickly. The location was very close to a metro and a lovely area of Vienna. (Where all the museums are). We don't normally eat in hotel restaurants however this restaurant was fantastic. The food, value and ambience were all very good. There were also a lot of locals there which is a great sign. You won't regret a stay at this hotel!
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were excellent. The owner as friendly and helpful. The location was excellent.
I loved the photo booth in the lobby. Location, view (we were street side), design (circus theme, but no clowns in our room, whew). Room comfortable, great little boutique hotel overall. The staff are the best.
I (55) was too old for the bar upstairs, shoulda gone to the restaurant downstairs instead. My kid loves the bar though. Too many porkpie hats on the guests, but whatcha gonna do? Parking is a slight problem upon arrival, we had to stop in a no-parking zone to unload, but longer term parking is no problem in nearby garage.
the hotel was in a good and convenient location (for our purposes) and the rooms were clean
1- for the room rate charged and given how cold it gets, i expected to find a kettle and some complementary coffee / tea bags. instead, we had to pay either EUR7 for a cup of cold coffee and a croissant, the only available alternative to a EUR17 for full breakfast 2 - English speaking people at the hotel restaurant: Vienna attracts numerous tourists and not all speak German. There was only 1 person who spoke English and even so, we still ended up with getting basic things (like pizza) completely wrong on a simple dinner order 3-service: I do appreciate that the kitchen closes at 11pm but I fail to understand how that means we could not get a cup of coffee or tea 20 minutes past then, particularly when the coffee machine was sitting next to us at the bar and not in the kitchen.
