Staying with dog was not only possible but also welcomed- we got nice room with direct access to the garden.

Room not very coisy; breakfast the same every day, with limited choices, so after few days it became much less satisfactory. Poor wifi coverage in rooms

The hospitality, warm and family like guesthouse. That we could use the breakfast area in the evenings. That we could drink the wine in the fridge and just put it on a list to pay upon departure. The fantastic pool.

Cleaning lady came a little too early in the morning. Could have waited until we had left after breakfast. But this was not a big problem at all.

No wifi in rooms

Very nice modern and clean accomodation, perfectly located, owner/host was very friendly and helpful, delicious breakfast with large variety of choice.

There were some problems with the heating, but Easter was unexpectedly extremely cold, and the owners did their best to fix it.

A charming blend of hospitality, service, food nestled in a baroque (?) village. Site of Roman fortifications protecting empire from Germanic tribes on north side of Danube. Country vistas of vineyards visible from windows; worth visiting.

All organic, wonderful breads and breakfast! (And access to wines from their family vineyards outside.) Large and comfortable rooms, simply furnished, absolutely clean. Quiet hotel, very pleasant outlook onto hills on most sides. Some rooms have limited outlook from rooflights only. Some have very pleasant balconies. Family-run, delightful people, very friendly and extremely helpful. Dinner available at nearby family restaurant, an easy walk. Highly recommended, but you need a car.

Fruhstucks : Quality and Range (Almost 100% organic/biodynamic). Room : spaciouseness and "natural" but functional unhippy decor. Friendly, helpfulness of hosts (jolly serving, cleaning staff helpful also). Off the beaten track on right bank yet accessable to more touristy left bank Wachau locations like Durnstein and Krems via small bridges or ferry.Secure Cycle storage in lock up garage. Bio-Tea, bio- milk , even decaff nespresso caps supplied (no problem)within kitchenette with crockery, so self catering is an options with Billa and Spar close by. 3 Day weather forecasts on the blackboard helps tourist planning ! Extensive library re-local etc interest. Stoep, hammock for enjoying summer sun in communal area but balcony in most rooms also.

Fantastic in every way - rooms were big and a high standard / staff were very helpful / facilities were great / breakfasts were 1st class / wine from vineyard outstandard / dinner recommendation brilliant / would go back tomorrow and stay longer

This proved to be an excellent place to stay as part of a longer tour in the country. Clean, friendly, welcoming and interesting.

Lovely owner/manager - very helpful. Beautiful rooms with lovely patio area. Nice swimming pool, not that we used it as it was rather cold. Good bike storage. Local wines, beer etc available for purchase.

No restaurants nearby (we are on bicycles). We ordered pizzas and had them at the guesthouse, which was fine.

Pleasant, large room with balcony. Lovely garden with play equipment for children and splendid natural swimming pool. Excellent organic breakfast.

The bed was rather uncomfortable.

Big, newly furbished, spacious room with big shower tub (a bit awkward is fact there are no doors on 'bathroom'. Great breakfast with variety of organic food - perhaps I would add some music to get more atmosphere. Outdoor plunge pool with sun deck is very nice for sunbathing and rellaxing. Mautern and ad vineas is definitely to be recommend.

We had a fantastic 3 day stay. Elisabeth was a perfect host. The breakfast was Amazing! The room was fantastic everything was perfect. The building is very new and room was nice and quiet. 10/10 highly recommended! We can't wait to return.

Nothing it was fantastic

The Family Run Hotel is very warm and inviting. Nothing was too much trouble and the Breakfast was great. The location was very good for the Austria 70.3 Triathlon and allowed us to get some last minute hill training in prior to the race. The village is actually on the Bike couse so ideal. Would strongly recomend this Hotel.

Современный светлый отель, большой номер, хорошая сантехника, быстрый интернет, приветливая хозяйка. Хорошие завтраки. Рядом шикарный ресторан, 2 супермаркета.

Wir waren durchweg positiv angetan! Elisabeth (den Gatten haben wir leider nicht kennengelernt) steckt sehr viel Herzblut rein, es herrscht eine sehr familiäre Atmosphäre und es wird für den Gast sehr viel möglich gemacht. Für Radler mit eigenem Rad steht ein Fahrradkeller nebst kleiner Werkstatt zur Verfügung. Fürs leibliche Wohl kann man beruhigt auf den dazugehörigen Nikolaihof zurückgreifen - die Marillenknödel sind ein Traum! Die Zimmer sind geräumig, hell eingerichtet und geräumig und mit etwas Glück mit Terasse, sonst mit Balkon.

Der ganze Aufenthalt war perfekt, sehr netter Empfang, schönes Zimmer mit großer Terrasse, ruhige Nächte weil angenehme Gäste und super Frühstück.

Alles toll! Hotelbesitzer total nett und hilfsbereit!

Beste Lage für Radfahrer. Man kann den Donau-, Traisen-,Kamp-Radweg von der Unterkunft aus sehr gut erreichen.Gästehaus Nikolaihof mit Chefin Fr.Samek ist ein sehr schönes, mit Liebe und Herzlichkeit geführtes Haus.Kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Es war ein wunderbarer Urlaub! Der nächste Aufenthalt im Gästehaus ad vineas und ein Besuch am Weingut Nikolaihof ist schon in Planung!

Aufenthalt zu kurz

Da wir mit zwei Hunden reisen, hat uns die ausgesprochene Hundefreundlichkeit im Ad Vineas begeistert. Hunde werden im Erdgeschoss mit direktem Zugang zum Garten untergebracht und dürfen sich auch im Garten frei bewegen. Es gab auch keinerlei Probleme mit den anderen Hunden im Haus. Wir haben einen total entspannten, erholsamen Urlaub gehabt und kommen gerne wieder!

Miły pensjonat, położony w spokojnej dzielnicy. Pokój duży, czysty, z ładnym widokiem na ogród I okoliczne winnice oraz sady morelowe. Absolutnie rewelacyjne śniadanie, głównie z produktów ekologicznych!!!!!!! Hotel przyjazny gościom ze zwierzętami. Polecamy!!!

Ein sehr schönes Gästehaus mit überaus grossen, geräumigen, komfortablen und liftdurchfluteten Zimmern, das inmitten von Garten, Reben und Marillenbäumen liegt, Der Empfang ist überaus freundlich und die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück köstlich mit nur hochwertigen Produkten. Die Lage an der Donau könnte nicht besser sein, um mit dem Rad die wichtigesten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Wachau zu besuchen. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch werden wir wieder im Ad Vineas wohnen wollen.
