Helpful staff. Good reasonable neighbourhood restaurants. Easy walking distance from the train station. Comfortable beds. At first glance the neighbourhood seemed a bit seedy but it turned out ok. The hotel is definitely not in the picturesque part of Salzburg but that was only a 10 minute walk away. we needed to be close to the train station. |

The breakfast was great and the fact that we could leave our luggage there all day was very helpful. The older gentleman who was at the desk when we arrived after 9 PM was very angry about something, was hard to tell exactly what because of the language barrier. Also he was very rude and discourteous to our family who tried to reach us on the phone later that night. The morning staff was much better! |

The Hotel is situated in a quiet place. The staff left drinks and snacks that one can have all night long and also a refrigerator where one can keep food and drinks. The breakfast was good. Since it's a B&B, there was no lift and so it's can be a problem if you have a lot of baggage. The parking is very small, but there's no problem let the car on the street in front of the hotel. |

Easy to find from the station. Easy walk into town. Lovely people on the front desk. Small hotel and quite basic. The breakfast - although the coffee was good - was very simple and quite boring. |

Convenient location close to tourist attraction and in a charming village. Very nice staff, excellent breakfast. Room was very attractive with timber features and a bathroom recently refurbished using a rich red marble. Could not find the location for wireless internet access. |

The bathroom was clean. The room was comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Loads of information for sight-seeing at the reception desk. The closeness to the main train station. |

This is one of the few affordable hotels in Salzburg that offers free parking, free Internet, free breakfast and is still within walking distance of hte city center Poor breakfast, thin walls, far from spotless bedroom, bathroom overwhelmed by smell of cleaning agent |

Very, very, friendly hotel staff. We stayed in a room with 4 people and there was plenty of space in it. Very clean rooms. The breakfeast is simple, but offers enough choice. No possibility to pay with credit or debet card.... About 15 minutes walking from center of town, although we didn't see this as a problem. |

A lovely stay. This is the second time that I have stayed at the Alderhof and I have had the same positive experience both times. Clean rooms, lovely staff and a good breakfast. Great value for money and close to the station. A short walk to all of the sights of Salzburg without the price tag of staying closer. |

The staff was so friendly and the room was so adorable! Breakfast was good, too. It's a bit of a stroll from the room to the city centre, but so quick to the train station. |
