Charming 3 star city hotel in an excellent quiet but central location. Near the historical city centre, the congress centre, the fairgrounds and the UNO city.

The modern rooms have a bright and friendly interior so that guests can find quietness and relax in the midst of the vibrant hustle and bustle of Vienna.

Due to its central location (Praterstern) the hotel is a popular place for international guests. It is located in a quiet one-way street and has a well-kept and friendly ambiance.

The friendly reception team will look after you 24 hours to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.

The fairgrounds, the conference centre and the UNO city (United Nations and Vienna International Center) are nearby. The U1 stop Praterstern is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel. From there you can directly and quickly reach the airport Vienna by the S-Bahn S7. You can book theatre, opera, musical, concert tickets and trips on reception.

We offer the free use of our conference room for business guests for small meetings of 10-12 people. Guests without laptop can use our PC station with printer.

The Prater of Vienna, the Donau island and the Prater stadium are nearby and ideal for those who wish to relax in natural surroundings.

Food & beverage

We offer a delicious Vienna breakfast buffet every morning from 06:30 to 10:30 with a varied choice of different bread, cold meat, marmalade, cereals, juices, yoghurt, fresh fruits and many other things. During the summer months guest can have breakfast or a drink in our Atrium garden.

There are many excellent restaurants near the hotel as well as pubs and the typical Wiener Beiseln. Please ask our reception to book a table for you and look forward to the famous cuisine of Vienna.

Guests will find quietness and relaxation in our cosy rooms near the centre of Vienna. All our rooms are modern and comfortable and have a friendly and bright interior.

We offer single rooms, double rooms and triple rooms.

Area information

Prater (1.0 km) - this large is home to the iconic Riesenrad (ferris wheel), a narrow gauge railway, a museum, a planetarium and even a micronation - the Republic of Kugelmugel.

St. Stephan's cathedral (1.4 km) - the south tower of this vast building is, at 136 metres high, the dominant feature of the Vienna skyline. It is known affectionately as Steffl by the Viennese.

Vienna Opera House (2.1 km) - the first performance held at this stunning neo-romantic building was Mozart's Don Giovanni on May 25th 1869.

everything was whole weekend good, the best was an older man from recepction, who tell us very interesting information about town, restauratns, seight, an so on. He can speak our Czech language, it was very pleasant!! Many thanks for them!!

Crao hotel, would never stayed there again.

Staff attitude, spoke poor english, no restaurant, no iron, ironed my shirt and made it dirty.

Part of the staff did not speak any other language except the native one at all and the old aspect of the hotel's exterior

free internet at reception, good breakfast, kind staff, nice rooms

(1) bad sound proofing. room windows were very close to each other, so we heard every word and sneeze of our neiboors, (2) in reservation we asked for Double bed, but we got room with two sinlge beds put together, (3) no bath curtain in bathroom

It was very handy to the train station & Prater Park

The area wasn't that great & not very many restaurants nearby. A few seady places close by which we were not expecting.

The location was great. The hotel was 5 minutes from train station for train to/from the airport. Also the trolley and subway were at the same station. The room was a very nice with a plenty of space and a couch to sit on. Great accommodations. The breakfast was more than great! The hotel is located on a quiet side street away from the city noise.
