The Oberschallerhütte in Kalkstein / Innervillgraten consists of 4 bedrooms with twin beds, a living room with a kitchen featuring a wood-fired and an electric stove, a bathroom with a toilet and an outhouse next to the hut. An attic room is also available. All rooms are insulated with sheep's wool and electricity and warm water are provided. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and a microwave. Cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, a coffee machine and bed linen are provided. The room facilities include furniture made of Swiss pine wood, a flat-screen TV and a radio. The public area includes a refrigerator and a small library. Free private parking and during winter season free toboggan rental is available. The lodge is reachable by car even in winter and you can park right in front of the lodge. Bobsleighs are available for free. The Hochpustertal-Silian Ski Area is a 15-minute drive away and the surrounding area is perfect for snowshoeing and skiing tours.
