Alpengasthof Enzingerboden  

Located at 1,500 metres above sea level amidst the beautiful meadows, forests and mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park, this cosy, family-run inn offers perfect conditions for a hiking or skiing holiday.

Specialized on dogs, the Alpengasthof has many features like home-made welcome-dog biscuits, a dog-friendly meadow and lake in the neighbourhood, a heated cellar for dogs to stay while their owner is not in the hotel and much more.

Alpengasthof Enzingerboden has newly renovated, well-kept rooms, 2 lounges for smokers and non-smokers, a big garden with an adventure playground, a sauna, and a play room for darts, billiard, and table tennis. All rooms enjoy views of the Hohe Tauern Mountain Range.

The rich breakfast buffet features many homemade products such as honey, jams, spreads and bread, and is included in the price. In the restaurant you can enjoy lovingly prepared dishes made from products from the surrounding area. Vegetarian dishes and dishes for allergy sufferers are also available.

In winter the snow-sure Weißsee Gletscherwelt family ski area (reaching up to 2,600 metres), with a ski school and ski rental, is in the immediate vicinity. Free ski passes are offered for 2 children per family (up to 11 years of age). Curling is available nearby.

In summer you can enjoy ideal conditions for beautiful hikes amidst glaciers and emerald-green lakes. Individual hiking tips are provided every day. Herbal hikes and torchlight hikes are also offered. There is hardly any pollen at 1,500 metres, making the location very suitable for people suffering from allergies. You can also go fishing in the nearby mountain lake.

Alpengasthof Enzingerboden is located in the ruggedly picturesque Stubach Valley at the end of a 17-km, toll-free panoramic road. Only the inn and some other building are situated there.
