Built in 1895, Hotel Atlanta is in Vienna’s upscale Alsergrund District, just a 15 minute walk from the Ringstraße boulevard in the center of Vienna. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining lounge.
Score from 992 reviews Good
This charming 3-star hotel offers a quiet location close to the Prater amusement park and the famous Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad), only a few steps from a subway station.
Score from 1092 reviews Very good
The Hotel Hadrigan in Vienna's district of Ottakring is a 15-minute ride on public transportation from the very heart of Vienna. Buses and trams stop in front of the house.

Good location, two-minutes-walk to the metro station. Friendly staff. Traditional style, has a inside garden, looks romantic. Our room is okay in size, having separate toilet and bathroom. Great value for money.
The facilities were a little bit old. The shower head holder is broken in the bathroom, so we had to hold all the time.
Friendly staff, great value for money and convenient location with a local subway station just 50 metres from the door. I was there for two nights and slept soundly throughout.
방 시설도 엄청 좋고 깨끗하고 창도 커요 u반이랑도 가깝고 욕실도 크고 좋아요 화장실 욕실이 분리되있어서 그 점이 좋았네요 room condition is very excellent and extra clean. the window is wide, so sunlight is good. it is nearby subway station and main station to go to other place. i like that restroom and bathroom is seperated place.
room is little cold. and breakfast is a little bit un-clean, especially cheese section.there is many flying insects in the case. all breakfast is good except that.
This hotel is great value for money. I booked this hotel as a way of saving money and I thought this would mean compromising on quality in comparison to the more expensive hotels in Vienna. Not at all. The staff are professional and friendly, the breakfast was very good, I really liked the communal areas too. The metro station is a two minute walk, just the time it takes to cross the road. Try some of the bars and cafes at the other end of Gumpendorfer Strasse for something a bit different from the regular tourist places.
The location of Altwienerhof was outstanding. It is literally right across the street from the subway which is a highly recommended means of transportation. The bed was more than comfortable for myself, a 44 yr old male and my 11 yr old son. Wifi worked great througout the hotel, in the lobby/restaurant area as well as in the room. A knowledgable man working the front desk who was able to answer any question you have.
It was a little difficult to find straight out of the main train station, but once you find it, it's simple.
Everything. We got an upgrade, so the apartment was fantastic value. Public transport was within easy walk. No trouble finding our way around. Breakfast was also good.
stuff, breakfest, close to metro (underground), rooms with nice atmosphere
unkept rooms, lower cleanness, bad (creaky) beds, worse area of the town
The staff were very helpful but spoke little English. Breakfast was fair . Close to metro. Nice private garden in good weather. The bathroom was large and clean, with both a shower & a big bath.
The furniture, curtains, sheets... were quite old but well maintained. Forget about the "Airport Shuttle", it's actually a private chauffeured car that you have to book separately, and costs almost as much as the room itself. Not a convenient stop if you're looking for the airport.
Huge rooms Very kind personnel Breakfast Location just off the Gurtel
Everything was really good
Immaculately cleaned. Friendly staff. Two of the reasons we selected this hotel: Centrally located to train, bus, subway. Great breakfast.
Sort of seedy location, although we felt safe. Not air conditioned. We were there in early summer so not too bad. There were great windows for a breeze. Noisy Friday night with drunk Turks across the street at their kabob shop watching World Cup, urinating in the street. I'm sure the hotel wishes they weren't there.
Clean and big rooms. Friendly personel. Good location (metro around the corner).
Furniture getting old/used
This was my third stay in this hotel and everything lived up to my expectations based on previous stays there. I found the staff very friendly, courteous, going out of their way to help me and looking after me when I had a medical problem. Excellent breakfast - a good foundation for a busy day. There was nothing that I did not like and I would and have recommended this hotel to friends and I am looking forward to staying there again.
There was nothing that I didn't like
Location, interior design, breakfast
The shower is only top-down and a shower curtain instead of a proper glass door is camping standard
Close to Underground rail Breakfast was just satisfactory
Room was large but provided minimal facilities. Location a bit dodgy and the building dated.
Wonderful old traditional hotel and wonderful proprietor and staff - very helpful and welcoming. Excellent breakfast buffet - superb quality and choice. Lovely tranquil garden. Excellent room - like a suite. Close to metro.
Lovely large bedroom and lounge. Tasty breakfast with wide selection.
Keeping in perspective the price of the rooms, this was an excellent place to stay while visiting Vienna. The hotel is literally a two minute walk to the subway station, which is then a fairly quick ride to downtown Vienna (one change of trains). Yes, the furniture may be a bit dated, but really, who cares. It provides part of the charm for this hotel. We chose a suite, for a few dollar more, which provided a huge amount of space, and some additional furniture. My brother stayed in double room, which was still large, but contained fewer chairs. The bathrooms were large and had a separate toilet room. The breakfast wasn't "special", but certainly sufficient.
Typical of older European hotels, this one also doesn't have air conditioning. This wasn't an issue for us in early June, but could become an issue later in the summer. We didn't have any problem finding the hotel by car (using GPS) , however the hotel is located on a narrow street with limited parking in front of the hotel. When we arrived, I temporarily parked on the street, probably within 100 feet of the hotel door (only open space). If my wife hadn't stayed with the car (and with the help of a kind stranger) we would have probably received a parking ticket from a quickly appearing meter maid. The kind stranger gave my wife a couple of "15 minute" parking coupons to place on the dashboard. If you arrive by car, I would suggest quickly getting one of these from the Hotel Desk Manager, even if you have to interrupt him, to avoid a possible ticket, and then return to the desk to finish the check in process.
Nicely decorated room. beautiful garden. Great location to subway. Friendly front desk. Highly recommend.
No wifi in our room
Situation near U6 metro for Meidling and Westbahnhof, 18 tram for Hauptbahnhof and Belvedere and 57A bus for town centre. Lovely building with inner courtyard garden and period character. Staff very pleasant.
Just a bit run down as is surrounding area.
Close to metro station, good breakfast, nice staff, very clean, good WiFi.
No AC, no minibar / fridge. Not enough soap in the shower cabin.
The hotel is close to the railway station. Good interior design. The reception staff is very polite and friendly, answered all the questions and explained how to get to the airport
This hotel was a gem. A hotel for the last 120 years, they raised potatoes in their courtyard during WWII. The owner lives on the premises and is committed to providing exceptional service. If you are looking for a hotel with old Vienna baked in, you will be happy here. From the dramatic ionic-columned lined staircase to the large rooms, the hotel is drenched with Vienna charm. We found its location midway between Old Town and Sconbrunn Castle convenient to all Vienna's major sites. The hotel is right down the street from a great Doner Kebap stand. Don't let the storefront fool you. Be sure to stop by. We couldn't have picked a better hotel for our stay in Vienna. While there, take time to meet with the owner and ask him to tell you his Aesop fable. Loved this place. Hope to return soon.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff, close to metro station. Excellent breakfast. We'll book again when we'll return to Viena.
Close to transport and attractions. Spacious rooms. Pleasant decor. Nice breakfast room and courtyard. Generous breakfast.
Bed was uncomfortable. Wifi only available in public areas.
