The Best Western Hotel Wien - Kagran offers rooms with free WiFi, only 200 metres from the Kagraner Platz Underground Station. The centre of Vienna can be reached in 12 minutes.
Score from 608 reviews Good
This charming 3-star hotel offers a quiet location close to the Prater amusement park and the famous Ferris Wheel (Riesenrad), only a few steps from a subway station.
Score from 1148 reviews Very good
The Motel One is a modern hotel in Vienna’s Westbahnhof transport hub and shopping complex, a 10-minute subway ride from the center of the city.
Score from 4812 reviews Excellent
- location is very good, close to an U-bahn station, M Hilfer strasse, westbahnhoff, etc. - breakfast is good - garage
The location us very good, just nearby metro, the breakfast is also good, but water isn't so hot, I don't know why.
very nice and friendly guy at the reception. hotel is very comfortable and good value for money, quiet as well. hotel near Westbahnhof few minutes away walking.
refurbishment may be needed in some places but it's not something that would discourage me to take a next visit to the same hotel in future. to be read: it didn't annoy me at all but it's just a thing to transform something good into something which is "the best".
Kind staff Great location Testy breakfasts beatiful building
all was good
Older Hotel but with Old World Charm! Very spacious room - number 103 - with separate toilet from wet floor shower. The front of house staff were excellent, giving very helpful advice on tourist attractions and nearby facilities. Great breakfast included in the package, and really close to public transport.
No Air Con - not a problem for us as we were travelling during mid October - but for summer this could be quite hot. Area was slightly shady, so walked a little faster after dark ... Wifi in room was pretty intermittent but fine in lobby.
Location near the station
Hotel staff disrespect my poor English. There is bad smell in the room when I get back to the hotel.
Close to metro line
Beds uncomfortable, Towels need softener, place run down, no night clerk and no front desk, crime ridden area and very run down. Does not have services that are advertised like, airport shuttle, laundry etc.
Great value for money and close (within 50m) to underground rail network and tram systems that links to the rest of the city
The style of the hotel "fin de siecle" The charming, informative and helpful owner Enjoyed sharing wines with owner---some very nice Austrian varietals The breakfasts ! Convenient public transport
Dislike is too strong a word----- Simply, the area is due for redevelopment and/ or upgrading. This did not put us off at all. We would stay there again.
Hotelier was so kind. So close to metro station. The room really spacious, with a huge bathtube. Excelent breakfast.
Wifi signal in the room not so strong. Location not so close to Mitte, but metro is just 50m.
Good breakfast Comfortable bed Manager's kindness Close location to metro station
Poor WiFi Old facilities (furniture, toilet, etc.)
The breakfast was good. The room was large and comfortable enough. The outside garden was useful. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Old chipped furniture in the room, ill-fitting curtains. Close proximity to metro but very dirty and dubious area - felt a bit unsafe after dark. Would not stay again.
Close to metro lines
Undesirable neighborhood and in need of repair. No night clerks on duty.No laundry or shuttle service as advertised. Same cold items for breakfast
Run down neighborhood No full time desk clerks Poor selection of breakfast items Interior needs painting, damaged furniture in rooms. No laundry service or shuttle service as advertised
The hotel is very nice and I met the owner, also visited the wine celler. Traditional style of room. The owner is very helpful and friendly.
The facilities need to upgrade a little bit.
The hotel is only a 2-minute walk from the metro stop and easy to locate. Rooms were clean and tidy. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was just about OK.
Location is not bad but security and safeness in doubt.
The location is so close to public transport and to the centre of the city, and quiet despite being around the corner from the U-bahn. Excellent breakfast buffet.
The "double bed" was 2 singles oushed together.
I am satisfied with everything of the above listed items.
Very cordial gentleman during check in. Nice first impression. Near a fabulous dim sum restaurant.
Next to a strip club. Drunk people on the street yelling all night (no kidding, until 3 AM). Horrible neighborhood. Stained and worn furniture and carpet. Breakfast was last straw; worst of 2 week vacation. Staff unresponsive and hostile during breakfast.
Good location, two-minutes-walk to the metro station. Friendly staff. Traditional style, has a inside garden, looks romantic. Our room is okay in size, having separate toilet and bathroom. Great value for money.
The facilities were a little bit old. The shower head holder is broken in the bathroom, so we had to hold all the time.
Friendly staff, great value for money and convenient location with a local subway station just 50 metres from the door. I was there for two nights and slept soundly throughout.
방 시설도 엄청 좋고 깨끗하고 창도 커요 u반이랑도 가깝고 욕실도 크고 좋아요 화장실 욕실이 분리되있어서 그 점이 좋았네요 room condition is very excellent and extra clean. the window is wide, so sunlight is good. it is nearby subway station and main station to go to other place. i like that restroom and bathroom is seperated place.
room is little cold. and breakfast is a little bit un-clean, especially cheese section.there is many flying insects in the case. all breakfast is good except that.
This hotel is great value for money. I booked this hotel as a way of saving money and I thought this would mean compromising on quality in comparison to the more expensive hotels in Vienna. Not at all. The staff are professional and friendly, the breakfast was very good, I really liked the communal areas too. The metro station is a two minute walk, just the time it takes to cross the road. Try some of the bars and cafes at the other end of Gumpendorfer Strasse for something a bit different from the regular tourist places.
The location of Altwienerhof was outstanding. It is literally right across the street from the subway which is a highly recommended means of transportation. The bed was more than comfortable for myself, a 44 yr old male and my 11 yr old son. Wifi worked great througout the hotel, in the lobby/restaurant area as well as in the room. A knowledgable man working the front desk who was able to answer any question you have.
It was a little difficult to find straight out of the main train station, but once you find it, it's simple.
