Hotel Am Brillantengrund  

Great staff! Especially the breakfast woman was extremely nice. Location in Neubau is perfect with lots of bars, cafés and Beisln within walking distance. The hotel itself is on a quiet street. The inner courtyard is fantastic!

The outside lightning going on as soon as you moved was quite annoying.

Friendly, helpful, efficient staff. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lots of options for breakfast. The hotel is a little bit away from most things, but public transportation in Vienna is easily accessed. About a 10 minute walk from Westbahnhof train station (another Ubahn station closer). Enjoyed my stay.

Receptionists are friendly & helpful. Although the hotel size is compact, the hotel facilities could meet guests need. The best is the location, where close to the main street and Westbahnhof, it is convenient to go out at night.

The wireless internet connection should improve, it's a bit slow.

Hotel has a good location only 5 minutes from the main shopping street. Staff of the hotel are excellent, breakfast is good.

Although we had room on the first floor over road, there was no problem, actually it was possible to hear sound from hallways of hotel rather than from road.

An excellent establishment. The room was small but quite comfortable and clean, and quiet. The staff superb. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel.

Position - right near Mariahilf shopping street.

For this price I would expectmore than a folding bad (that one which can be folded vertically!) The cleanliness of the room was poor (we could admire a couple of well-nourished spiders above our folding bed). The bathroom was big enough, but the WC was quite squeezed between the wall and the shower cabin and was put on a small platform 30 cm above floor level...excellent for contorsionists!

The hotel was so clean, stuff was so friendly, breakfast was good, location was perfect. It was like being at home.

It was nosiy somehow but this was not disturbing.

Even I chosed this hotel upon the good reputation (over 8 I remember), my experience was very bad, because the day I've spent in Vienna was very hot and we couldn't slept at all: the rooms lack air-condition and we were in a really sauna over the night. When I booked this hotel I didn't pay atention at AC, and no one complained about this. Nobody stayed in the summer in this hotel ?

We received warm blankets instead of air condition in August, when outside night temperature was over 30 degrees Celsius. It was a really bad joke.

Everything was perfect, great value for money, great location.

Nice rooms; large shower; good breakfast; very kind and helpful staff; good position quite close tu the center. Space to leave bycicles during night.

No parking place for all the guests, at our arrival if was full, anyway they suggested us another area (with even lower prices). The shower was not cleaned after the first night. In 3 nights the sheets were not changed, even if expected with these hotel prices.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with info on public transportation, tourist venues and basic "getting started" directions. Breakfast was wonderful each morning - a full spread, including scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage for Americans. Parking garage across the street with several stalls dedicated to the hotel for a daily fee.

A public room, breakfast room in the morning, was used in evenings several times for large gatherings and the din was transmitted through the courtyard to the rooms facing the courtyard.

Close to the city center - walking distance,quit place,nice garden, old Wien atmosphere
