That it was clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the city centre. Had a nice, relaxed atmosphere, with a nice individual feel to it. Pleasingly, it didn't feel at all corporate.
There wasn't much I didn't like. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would be good but it's only a minor observation.
We loved the philipino food, the kindness of the staff, and the value of the hotel. We will definitely stay here again.
However, our first night there we were in a room beside the stairwell and my husband didn't sleep a wink. They moved us to another room on the 2nd floor- and loved it!
- breakfast's available - comfortable bed, good quality sleep - friendly staff - general location is good, 10mins walk to nearest metro station
- smoking permitted in courtyard, all rooms can smell the cigarette smoke, not good for people with sensitive airways - weak Wi-Fi, need to be close to the window facing courtyard to get better signals - the walk to/from metro station is safe but very quiet at night
The hotel is beautifully laid out around a central courtyard, where we were able to have breakfast on our last day (it was raining the other days). The breakfast was great value - €3 per day- usual cereals, breads, cheeses etc plus eggs and bacon. Our room was a non-smokers' room so didn't have a balcony-if you want a balcony you should get a smokers' room. The area around the hotel is great for restaurants and bars-great choice of cuisines, prices are much lower than the centre and they're nowhere near as touristy. The hotel has a restaurant serving Phillipino food, which we'd hoped to try, but didn't get round to. Hotel bar looks friendly and quite busy although we didn't try it. Transport to the city centre from around the corner (if you have change you can buy ticket on tram). Interesting 'alternative' shops nearby.
Only very little things - eg no fridge in room, no drawers or shelf space for books.
The outdoor terrace is excellent
Friendly welcome, comfortable apartment, delicious food in restaurant. Easy to catch tram to centre, or walk as we also did a couple of times.
The courtyard was a bit noisy but that was because many locals enjoy the great location & food available there. Very quiet once it closed - about 10pm.
Everything, this place is reaaaally great, hard to find at first time, but then everything is great i enjoy a lot the place! The staff if reeeally nice!
As i said is a little complicated to find.(or for me at least it was)
Breakfast is excellent. The staff is attentive and nice. Close to an Underground stop.
The bathroom in our room was small. No electric kettle.
The group of people in the yard yelling till the late night.
Friendly helpful service. Loan of bicycles and adjustment service to ensure bike was suited for you.
Near to the railway station but slightly too far to the Danue. Would have liked more variety on the dining menu, necessary if staying many days.
Very charming hotel in one of the most lively district of Vienna, good breakfast and very useful new bikes available!
Lack of air-conditioning for summer time
A unique, laid back hotel with a very personal touch to it. Its stylish in a simplistic way and also comfortably relaxing. A very good starting point to roam the city's many sights and art treasures. Bike rental is a plus.
good breakfast, laidback atmosphere, attractive courtyard
The room was clean and tidy but a little dated. The breakfast was excellent with so much choice. Was a 20 minute walk to he museum quarter which was a bit further than anticipated. The courtyard is as nice as it looks in all the photos. Would definitely recommend staying here
Very friendly and helpful staff, great location!
Great quiet atmosphere, very clean rooms, good breakfast
No 24h reception
Great atmosphere, super friendly staff, very central location!
A had a room on the ground floor with windows facing the inner courtyard. It was too noisy until quite late. The breakfast is very simple. They also blocked the money on my credit card befirehand, this is very annoying.
not bad price for Vienna
we had a room on ground floor- too noisy all day. restaurant, people sitting just close to your door and window. poor instable internet connection, breakfast could be better.
Location, staff, breakfast, a lot of flowers, own parking
Low speed of wi-fi
Friendly staff, excellent Food
Truly the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Yes, it's pretty far from the city center, but the hotel invites you to a very relaxed stay. As soon as I walked thru the doors and saw that terrace. Oh, my... I fell in love with that place. The hotel definitely has its own soul. Everybody is very easy-going and is eager to help. We rented two rooms, one of which had a kitchen with all the cutlery and silverware enough for four people to have a meal. We cooked and ate at the terrace on the second floor which has tables and benches. In a nutschell, the hotel is perfect if you want to rest and if you like to walk (it took us 30 minutes on foot to get to the Museum Quarter). So, don't think twice. Stay there and you will want to come back. Promise.
Very kind staff. Clean and comfortable. Good enough location. Good value. Big room. Great breakfast. Pretty hotel. No complaints.
Clean, nice inner patio
Very cheap looking bathroom, Expensive, staff could be nicer. Room was small
