Hotel Allegro Wien

room spacious and comfortable,clean and cosy,however hotel a bit "old".in general although in fair condition

the mattress was rather soft

the hotel is situated right next to the train station and the tram station. takes 10 minutes to reach the center of the city.

the breakfast was good the first day of our stay. next day we arrived for breakfast at 9 (breakfast til 10). some of the breakfast items were finished, and the staff did not replace them. that left a limited choice for us.

clean spacious rooms, very friendly stuff (even cleaning ladies we met in the coridor said hello every time), good breakfast

I was amazed to see how nice the room was, it was also very clean, the breakfast was excellent and the price was very attractive

We enjoyedkfast the breakfast. and the close proximity to public transport, The room was very warm and comfortable.If in Vienna again we will definately return to Hotel Allegro.

The lift going to the top floor would be nice ,

the generous treatment of the staff,the breakfast was very rich,the connection to the internet in the room was good.

because the hotel is near the metro ststion there is a little noise during the night.

A good quality room and breakfast and very helpful reception staff . It is in a good position for transport connections to the city centre and other areas of the city .

The traffic , trains and trams on the square outside make it a very noisy location . Book a room at the back of the hotel if at all possible .

Just across the street from tram station, which has tram directly to Holfburg and Westbahnhof. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Good free breakfast.

Unfortunately no subway station around. Tram was confusing if connection is required.

Parking is actually non existing. Additional bed in room is extremely unconfortable.

Location is better than seems on a map. Staatsoper, Musikverein, Konzerhaus are 6 short tram stops away on 3 tram lines right below the hotel (1-minute walk, 1-minute wait). We had stayed at a hotel closer to the center (on Favoriten Str) that was in a practical sense further. Rooms of hotel are spacious, clean, and relaxing, with toilet and (5-star) shower separated by a large vestibule. Hotel looks misleadingly grubby from the street. Excellent breakfast. Staff exudes that rare quality of local ownership.

Good public transports just outside the hotel (tram to the center, tram/train to Sudbahnhof Station). Price is not overrated. Room with lots of space. Free internet access. Good breakfast.

My wife checked in alone, with lots of baggage, and the clerk didn't offer to help with the baggages (we stayed on the 5th floor and the elevator goes only to the 4th floor). The curtains don't really cover the light.

Very old Hotel - all the rooms are in horrible state. The air conditioner in our room made more noise then the street the window turned to - and it was a highway. I don't recommend this hotel for no purpose. If you don't want to be disappointed don't book there.
