Hotel Allegro Wien  

The breakfast was good, enough. Good coffee. Large rooms. Free car parking on the streets, nearby. I come here all the time I visit or pass Wien.

The staff from the reception was no so friendly.

I liked connections with trams and underground railway, friendly staff. Parking provided by staff is safe and easy to find.

Parking is not so close to the hotel. Although site says credit card is needed only for booking, they charged me via credit card (I wanted to pay in cash).

We been in When on weekend. Our goal was city trip and visit State Opera. Hotel has good location,2 min from tram station. With tram number 1 we could go directly from hotel to Opera and city center,and it spend only 10min. Room in hotel was big size, with good equipment, nice design. We had breakfast in hotel and it was very tasty. It was a lot of different food,so it was possible to find nice meal for vegetarian and for persons on some diet. Fresh juice,nice tea,a lot of fruits, warm meal, cereal, cheese, yogurt and etc. So you will be have a lot of power after this breakfast for all day city-walking trip. Personal is very kind and friendly.

It's a little bit noisy due to close proximity of a busy crossroads. But by the end of the day we were usually so worn out that it hardly ever prevented us from having a good night's sleep.

Long term parking to far and complicated to get there for tourists,no parking at all in front of the hotel,being dificult carry all the luggage,especially for families with children.

No parking place near the Hotel!

Good value for the money! We were a group of 3 in need for a place to stay for one night on our way back home from a ski trip in Austria. The hotel location was ok, easy to get in from the highway and 10 minutes by tram to the ring. As we were by car we manage to find a public parking space near the hotel (which is free during the weekends). The room was ok, nothing extravagant, but clean, nice... The breakfast was good and varied, the classical continental breakfast. All in all it was a good hotel. I wouldn't recommended for a longer stay or for a couple going to a romantic escape, but for a couple of days, if one wants to visit the city or just needs a place to crash, it is a good place.

Breakfast is very good. It is not noisy even it is near railway station.

Convenient location of the hotel, near all modes of transport, the hotel is not quiet, but with the closed windows the street noise does not interfere

we stayed in the attic room. there was quietly, but not heated battery and it was cold

Although on the booking.com wrote that the hotel does not charge you when you make the reservation in maxim 1 hour one employee called saying that is a weekly limit on my card and can not debit my card. I said that on the site writes that the card is used only for guarantee of the reservation and he said than the reservation in guaranteed until 15:00. (Not that it bothered me that he wanted to take money from the card without notice). The bigger problem was when we arrived. The hotel is situated in a corner of a street in a dirty neighborhood, the lift was dirty, the hole look like a hospital corridor and it was dirty too. The carpet in the room was dirty, there ware not bulbs to all of the laps, the walls were dirty and had traces from luggage (I hope), under the bed were used tissue. The bathroom , oh good the bathroom. There was mold everywhere, sinks were clogged (were 2 sinks), the floor was dirty. Although bathroom was provided with boxes of sanitary bag and cosmetics tissues they ware lacking from their boxes. When we came down for breakfast there were 2 cleaning ladies who cleaned the reception area and the floor and they were bored and unfriendly. The bigger problem was that they clean the floor next to eating area with chlorine. Smell was too strong and I noticed that there was no effect of the expected.

I was very much satisfied with how quickly the reservation could be changed, created no problem for them. Rooms were well equipped, nicely furnised. Hotel is in a very good location for those who wish to use public transportation and want to get from one place to another in just a few minutes. Breakfasts were tasty.

Even though the hotel has an excellent transportation connection and it takes a very few minutes to get into the centre it has some disadvantages. The hotel is noisy, as most cars, trains, trams pass by the hotel. No window blinders, curtains were a little transparent and could not isolate the room from heavy street lights.Hairdrier was very old, it takes way too much time dry long hair. Receptionists could not really recommend any restaurants which were open until later hours (approx. 9.30-10PM).

Noisy. I heard trains and trams all night. Breakfast with watery juices, cheese several days. The room was large and was not heated. Not a hotel to rest.

The position is for sure it's streght: 10 minutes by tram and you are at the Opera!

The breakfast room is too small for the mass of guests, somedays is hard to find a free table.
