Hotel Ambassador  

町の中心に立地していて、観光や買い物には便利です。 しかし、スタッフにはあまりサービス精神を感じませんでした。 歴史があって、老舗であるからプライドがあるのでしょうね。

ドアがとても開けにくかったです。スタッフを呼んで開けてもらいましたが、あまり 感じよくないでした。３日目にやっとコツをつかめました。窓枠が壊れていて 落ちてきそうでした。

王宮・オペラ座が徒歩圏内にあり、大変観光しやすいロケーションでした。また、素敵なシャンデリアや品の良- い家具にかこまれてラグジュアリーな体験をすることができました。

地下鉄駅からのアクセスが最高です。部屋が広々としていて、設備も十分。とてもリラックスした時間を楽しむ- ことができました。

空港直行のCATが出る駅と地下鉄との連絡口が工事中です（2011.3.29現在）。そのため、もし地下鉄経由で急行に乗ろうとすると、エスカレータもないたくさんの階段を昇り降- りするか、駅から外へ出て遠まわりするしかありません。ホテル受付に確認しましたが、そのことはご存じない- みたいでした。ホテルからCAT駅までそれほどかからないので、タクシー利用をお勧めします。

The first and the most important advantage is the location. The location was really excellent. Staff was quite helpful and smiling. The air condtioner was working very properly which was an important criteria for us since Radisson Blu Hotel rooms were freezing and we moved to this hotel for this reason. The hotel and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed very much staying in Ambassador Hotel, we found the comfort we expected. If I were to go to Vienna again, I would definitely stay in Ambassador with no doubt.

While check-in we requested to hire a wheelchair for my mom. We're informed that it is 8 Euros per day and we said ok. However, we have been charged almost more than double of this rate. Their explanation was it was the additional transportation cost that the rental firm charges to them but we wasn't informed about it, it was a bad last minute surprise.

Location and staff attention

On the hallway I stayed was not that fully clean as I expected: a empty bottle stayed on the hallway window sill for days, and the empty dishes outside some rooms sometimes stayed waiting to be picked up for over a day.

Very central location, helpful staff, quiet and comfort.

The location was fabulous! The staff was polite and helpful.

The Location could not be more central, the building and public spaces are impressive, the service was good.

very very very unfriendly staff on breakfest (2 ladies)!!!!!! what is abslolutely not typical for austriens. no plates and glases. as we asked for new one - got the answer - "es wird noch dauern!" waiting for the coffee 15 minutes. waiting for eggs 30 minutes. another day we got the eggs 1 minute boiled (not eatable). we asked for the new one, but after waiting 15 minutes, went away. its good, that a lots of other caffees are nearby.

Excellent location, close to all the main sights. The atmosphere was also really nice and the room was comfortable and big. I would recommend staying there

Luxury feel. Fabulous location. Well appointed room. Polite and friendly front desk.

Bar was sterile and impersonal. No atmosphere. Not encouraged to return.
