Good location and nice room

Need to arrange and improve the bathroom setup Cheap tiles for a 5 stars hotel

I loved the rooms and the general style of the hotel; it lent a certain old, romantic, this-was-once-a-palace feel to everything and the staff were wonderful. The location, bang on Kartnerstrasse, is excellent, although the disabled entrance is at he back of the hotel on Neuer Markt. The breakfast was amazing, if a little pricey, but for the price I paid for the entire stay it was well worth it. Well turned out, very knowledgeable staff and gorgeous rooms- even well turned out cleaners! I loved the heated bathroom floor, too!

I don't think the breakfast should be so expensive, you can probably get better for your money down the road in a coffeeshop or cafe somewhere but nevertheless, I liked it. I felt also that specifying a time for your breakfast dishes to be collected, whilst handy for housekeeping, meant breakfast was a rushed affair, one could not sit and enjoy it.

The situation of the hotel is perfect: in the middle of Innere Stadt by the pedestrian street. Underground station is near. Rooms are big and well equipped. Clean rooms. Polite and helpful personnel. The price / quality -relation is excellent.

The hotel is amazing, and perfectly located in the main shopping street, but at the same time silent. Within walking distance from the main attractions. I haven't had the breakfast because was very expensive, it worthy to take it in the amazing cafes around there. Just the best you can have in Vienna!

Big rooms, beautiful furniture and decoration, on Kartnerstrasse, nice bar, good cappuccino, smoking rooms,etc.

Expenxive breakfast for what you get.

Position.

When we came on 17th February 2012 in Hotel Ambassador Vienna (evening), the young lady on front desk was not very kind. She treated us as "what are you doing in this hotel...".

the location was very good for the reason we were there. - it's just a comfortable hotel

- the reception staff is very poor prepared. Did not interact much with them, but when we did, they were not much of a help, not even for a restaurant reservation. - the design of the hotel & the rooms are not very defined. there are elements in the rooms / hotel from a completely another story. - didn't serve any F&B, so I can't say anything about this service.

The hotel offers an unique combination of being cozy and in the middle of the best shopping area in Vienna.

I liked everything about the hotel starting from the professional handling of all matters, going through the nice extras and ending with excellent location and reasonable price for all of this. I can safely say I would definitely choose it on my next trip to vienna, or if it has other branches or affiliates in Europe I would like to know in order to stay at it.
