The stylish Austria Trend Hotel Doppio Wien is only a 10-minute tram ride from Belvedere Palace and the center of Vienna.

The speed of the elevator, to room layout, cleanliness, and furniture, the bathroom.
No slippers and sewing kit, the sliding door to the bathroom looked like it needed some adjusting.
It was not allowed to leave the car in the garage till 3 pm on the leaving day, however it was totally empty and we payed 17 eur for the night... For me it's a matter of flexibility only...
Clean, efficient, not too far from town, good public transport connections
The breakfast room is like an aircraft hangar, not very inviting. Re-used for conference rooms. The hotel bar also has no atmosphere.
Good size rooms, value for money, good Wifi connection, can order food even at 12mn.,
Not within the Vienna City center so location is dead by 8pm.
We felt really fortunate with our stay at the Almedia Best Western Hotel. It was within very pleasant walking distance to the City Centre and all the attractions. The area is safe and clean so the location makes for a lovely walk after dinner that also gives a nice impression of real life in Vienna. There are also various bus lines so there also good connections with public transport should you be in a hurry. The rooms are cleaned every day so this, combined with the modern design and brand new furniture in place (the hotel opened barely 2 years ago!), makes for a very fancy atmosphere which both business travellers or boutique lovers would appreciate, I am sure. Even though the staff had limited fluency of English, they were all very helpful and unconditionally supportive to all of our requests so the language barrier was of no importance at all. The rate we were booked at was also very good and for it we thought we received really good value for money, considering all the benefits described above. The hotel was one of the highlights of our stay in Vienna and we would strongly recommend it to all our friends. We ourselves look forward to our next visit!
Comfortable room in a fairly new hotel.
Reception did not find my reservation at check-in (I booked in the afternoon of the day of arrival and went to the hotel in the evening). I was checked-in anyway, without my booking being found. I did not think much of it, since the receptionist seemed stressed and was probably new. Unfortunately, later that night I was woken up by another receptionist (calling at 23:00), asking me to pass by front desk in order to clarify the matter of the missing reservation. Not a pleasing experience...
location - easy access to the city centre - walking distance from metro station (kardinal nagl plaz) and had a bus stop in front of the building bed and cleanliness of the room next to several supermarkets good free wifi
at night there were few restaurant options - we had to take the bus or metro to have a good meal (althought there is a bar at the hotel) at night the surrounding areas were empty - so we had a feel that wasn't safe (but nothing happened.. I would not reccomend if you are a woman solo traveller)
We got only one hotel card for 2 persons! Also there were a lack of towels, no body lotion and a few other things. Not to mention the entrance to hotel reception is weird. Clearly a poor standard.
You have to pay for parking and breakfast
Close to S7, not far from metro U3. You can join the center of city quite rapidly. We've booked business class room, it was clean and spacious. A lot of shops and restorants nearly. Friendly staff.
conditioner does not work
The room was too hot and the climate control did not work. The breakfast buffett was not refreshed regularly and was out of many things.
Have stayed in Vienna in various hotels. Thanks to booking.com got this hotels junior suite at an equisite rate. Felt at home. Huge room. For Vienna standards perfect. Beds incredibly comfy!
More my fault. My gps took me through the city center. Location is not dead center but close. 10 min walk to the metro...
the pics on the website
noisy, and lost internet connection that cost me a 3 month project due to lost email that took 40 minutes to create. and inspiration cannot be gotten back the net needs to be fixed. aside from this, i would never ever recommend this hotel, but since this is Vienna, on value for money Vienna is expensive overall its not like they are the only ones hotels im used to are twice the price in Vienna so this is the problem. other than the net, I can't blame them personally so much, its the city. just come prepared w cash
I liked that I was able to find the hotel easily and the stay was fairly straight forward.
I had to leave the hotel to find food as they did not have room service and were not offering dinner, there was little that was open.
The personal speaks poor german:(
clean and quit hotel. Friendly staff, near to centre ( take bus no 74 which is near hotel, to nearest metro station) excellent wifi signal in the room, good breakfast.
WiFi works fine!
When I arrived it was asked me to put my card's PIN on the device for payment. The recepcionist told me that is was just to check if my card was working or not! Then the hotel did a Prepayment on my bank account and it was told me that this would not happen! I had my money blocked over week on my account.
Better and nice than in Pictures, for first time that happen. Big rooms, all conditions. Wifi included with very good signal. Parking free in front of hotel from 22.00 - 09.00 Parking into the hotel on payment. I will come back 100%. I suggest the hotel staff to remake the photos or to explain better type of rooms, cause you can get more clients.
Parking is a bit expensive, I suggest to make some discounts, at last is a parking .... 20 euro / night is a bit expensive. You should give us some options if we stay more or something. It's only my suggestion.
Far from the center
1. the room was painted in white color, which has many strips when I moving in
It's in the main street. By walking just straight ahead (for 4km approximately) you reach Stephanplatz. The room conditions were great. Internet speed was good. Free public parking on the weekend just infront of the hotel. Lidl Supermarket is just the next door. Plenty of international restaurants in the hotel's vicinity.
The distance to the public transport. One have to walk approximately 700-1000m (between the buildings) to reach the station for tram 71 that takes you to the opera roundabout (very centre) OR one can walk for 4km to the centre :)
Good location, very fast and stable WiFi
+ cleanliness and comfort.
- not close to city centre, around 15 mins walk to the underground and another 15 to the centre. - Hotel setting feels more like a 3*
Nice breakfast buffet Very friendly staff
Just one minor thing - Towels were changed every day, although they claim to be environmental friendly...do you change your towel at home daily?
Location is good, Clean, Newly decorated rooms. Excellent Staff
