Having read the room was 54 euros for a double room and 36euros for breakfast. (We had paid 92euros per night) We were disgusted at the level of breakfast. Dry rolls/slices of bread, black rimmed powdery over hard boiled eggs, with processed cheese slices and 2xchoices of cold salami ham, black coffee with hot water and tea sachets. (18Euros each!!)By the last day(we had booked for three nights) we asked the concierge to remove breakfast from the bill, as we wanted to go out for a more wholesome and enjoyable breakfast eating experience. Saying that we had prebooked online he was unable to complete the request. We were very disappointted with this hotel, which just needed to add sausages (wurst) beans a fried egg or bacon to make it feel like a holiday rather than a prison.

Good location for economic price. It seems you came to the old house, but here you find only good things: very kind staff, clean room and bathroom, furniture in good condition, newly refurnished bathroom. Good bed with clean white bed-clothes. Highly recommended for travellers, who need basic accommodation in good location (behing the Rathaus -City Hall, and close to the Underground Rathaus).

Very small room. Internet 10 minutes free of charge is only in description. Morning and evening the hotel computer did not work. 15" tv - where you can see this today? Paper in lobby in dautch only. Good breakfest is not enough to have a good time in hotel.

Quaint and traditional, good service and friendly staff. I would not say modern but it is certainly quaint with dark woods, brass and gold, traditional decor, would definately please my parents I would have liked some form of cooling in the room, not expecting air- con as it would distract from the quaintness of the hotel but when its 30+ degrees, in an enclosed space, a fan in the room would have been most useful and would have added to the comfort

Nice location, good price, home atmosphere The room was too tiny. There were two single beds and very little place left to move around. the shower broken, the cover was missing and the water came out in some disordered stream.

The hotel is a family run business on the 2nd floor of a residential beautiful old Wien building. It is an unpretentious b&b that promises exactly what it offers. The location is superb, walking distance from most of the main attractions and very well served by underground station, buses, trams. Being in a side little street it is very quiet despite being in the centre of Vienna. Being not far from the university and the Rathaus, there are very nice bars and small restaurants nearby if you want to stay local in the evening. It is also a very safe area. The reception staff was very helpful and kind. They are present till very late, but you also get the building front door key for your independance. The rooms have basic furniture but are clean and beds comfortable. Good shower in bathroom, towels changed daily , soap provided but not shower gel or shampoo. If you need hairdryer you can borrow one from reception. Breakfast is ok for starting the day. If you are in Vienna for visiting the city and want to be close to all amenities, in a safe, clean place, at a reasonable price, this is a good choice. We were in a two bed room, and compared to the double rooms (with double bed) it was much smaller. We would suggest changing tv sets and put modern ones with remote control and flat screens, that would also save space. Although we were ok with what was served for breakfast, breakfast staff was not particularly friendly, very different from the reception staff (kind and helpful).

I liked the building it was in. Climbing the huge staircase was very inspiring. The neighborhood was nice, with cafes and restaurants nearby, but still an easy walk to the ring, rathaus, museums and old city. Breakfast was a notch above average. Wifi was not free, although to be fair at 3 Euros a day, one of the cheapest I've seen. I chose the hotel because it was listed as a bed and breakfast, but it's not it's a hotel.

Good place within very easy reach of the city center, reasonable price, breakfast OK. Bed is bit too soft to our taste, but OK for one or two nights. Sound insulation from outside world is very good, but this is not case with noise from the neighbors.

Clean and comfortable, central location and buget price, especially as a typical Austrian/German breakfast was included. If your hotel room is somewhere to sleep, shower and leave your luggage, this is perfectly fine. No complaints whatever, and would be happy to stay again.

Price and location. It's very simple but enough for 2 days in Vienna. Desk staff could help a little more with particular things to do in Vienna.

The room was clean and the staff was kind and professional. The location is good and the district is very quiet. The furniture were too old and the room was a bit tiny (not even space for a desk). The breakfast menu was a bit poor.

A basic Pension, 5 to 10 minutes walk to the Rathaus. Breakfast simple and adequate. Pretty good value in an expensive city. Fairly quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for it's location, but it is very basic
