We were happy this hotel was close to the train station since we were traveling by train. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was extremely satisfying – eggs, ham, salami, cheese, muffins, toast, butter, jam, fruit, coffee, juice.

Both rooms were booked as non-smoking and one of them smelled strongly of smoke. The previous occupants left the safe locked and the management couldn't get to it during the two nights we were there, so it was unusable. Keep in mind this hotel is at least a 30-minute walk to Mirabell Gardens and all the good restaurants downtown.

On a noisy road. Woken up at 6am by street cleaners. Also on a trolley bus route. The lift was not working in the Annexe where we were accommodated. We battled hauling heavy cases up the stairs. No assistance offered/available. No coffee or sugar in the room.......only tea and creamer. The landing on the stairs was used to store spare beds as well as trolleys full of dirty sheets and towels which were there for 24 hours! Very disappointed.

You get what you should expect from an "old" luxury hotel, beyond that you would come back, if not you will just need to get better offer

Staying at this hotel makes me feel like I am doing a business in Salzburg since the hotel is so business like and I did not get a feeling of doing a holiday at all. The Hotel feels more like a business hotel, not so suitable for my travel reasons, would prefer saying in a resort hotel on my next visit.

The two large industrial size trash cans that sat right in front of the doorway to the Annex building. I grew tired of having to constantly walk around two dirty trash bins every time I entered and exited my hotel. Can these bins find a new location- maybe just 5 or 6 feet to the left or right!

Not a 4 star hotel. If it were 3 stars I would say it was fine. We were there during the hottest week and had to pay extra for a/C. Staff were not helpful and always said attractions (swimming pool, lakes, ect) were too far (but we made our way and they were all within a reasonable distance). Would not give us ice and couldn't get drinks from attached restaurant. Not good hotel for families as you need to walk ages to get to old centre and the bus station (which is near) was always full of drinkers and suspect characters.

you must be very carefull because there are two buildings, the one with the lower price 100% i don't recomend it.... is one floor of a living places with offices, medicine cabinets and others.....

The room is clean, confortable, and quite spacious for three adults. The breakfast is very very good with a lot of choice, so is the coffee.
