Score from 95 reviews Very good
Great localisation, in a picturesque valley. Beautiful mountains views. Nice external swimming pools, with thermal water. Spacious rooms, with terace and all with mountain view. Very clean and stylish. Lots of attractions for children, separate pools, playgrounds, bikes. Lots of attractions in the region, hiking, bikes' paths.
Lots of people in the SPA, comming from other hotels. In the restaurant only buffet table, no possibility to choose something a la carte.
Location & facilities are fantastic. All around fantastic get away. Great mountainbiking for hubby,& top notch spa for us both. Good food-see details below.
The food was mostly great. Starters & desserts & salad buffet were consistently wonderful. Main courses were inconsistent. Very friendly staff, but they are under-staffed during dinner service & through no fault of the overworked staff, sometimes it was a long wait to order dinner, or wait for drinks to arrive.
The gardens around the hotel are just amazing. The bowl shaped pools are still the best i've ever seen and the SPA 3000 is simply awesome. The new rooms are lovely and very quiet. The breakfast is fantastic.
Staff beyond excellent as usual, facilities wonderful, including the new gym equipment. Saunas and steam rooms fantastic, with excellent aufguss. In a word.. amazing.
The Spa and food were excellent
Couldn't get room temperature low enough and loads of flies
The spa facilties are the best I have experienced and are a credit to the hotel owners. They are extremely modern and absolutely clean at all times. The restaurant staff were also excellent and were a pleasure to meet each day.
I had a junior suite and the lounge area was extremely poorly lit - so much so that in the evening it was impossible to read there. So as to be able to work at the desk I had to ask for additional lighting. As a contrast the bedroom, with the lights on, was as bright as day. Re room selection, if you enjoy listening to music a couple of nights a week until 11.30pm ask for suites 127 or 128. They are directly above the bar and the music is easily heard. Although the restaurant staff were excellent, the food served could have been better. The gentleman on the table next to mine returned his main twice one evening and then gave up. I just decided not to eat mine given it was so overcooked. We also had the problem another night. Having said this, the range of food is excellent and the salad buffet is very good even if the dishes are basically the same each night. The food is an issue the hotel may look at for the future.
Amazing hotel in an excellent location, nice friendly staff, great pools and SPA, excellent food.
everything was absolutely perfect
the check in at 15.00 a bit too late
Suit with fireplace, thermal pools and whirlpools, excellent food, very helpfull stuff - I´m using wheelchair and all the hotel space is accessible for me,skibus to Solden, georgious views from the hotel, beautiful landscape around the hotel.
Nothing to say
It's a bit of a splurge but the "wellness" facilities are like no other I have ever seen or heard of, truly outstanding! Enormous, clean, luxurious, they haev thought of everything. The staff are amazing throughout. The room was brand new, modern and stunning (we had an "Alpin") (except for the blasted twin mattresses, sheets and duvets on the double-bed frame - but that's an Austrian thing, not just at this hotel. Austrians just don't like to touch each other when they sleep I guess!)
Vegetarians need not bother coming here. My boyfriend is not a pescatarian (which was catered for) and as a result he was forced to eat side orders all weekend. Shame at the price! One would think in 2014 that you don't have to announce what is a fairly normal and acceptable diet these days. There was even a special "diet" menu, but that too had meat or fish in every single course! Even the scrambled eggs at breakfast (which were otherwise heavenly!) had bacon in them. Why? No need! Also, hopefully an exception but worth mentioning: the head chef bit off more than he/she could chew when he/she planned a 7-course meal for dinner on Easter Sunday and the hotel was fully booked. The whole restaurant was kept waiting for hours as the portions got noticeably smaller and I was eventually served partially raw food on my main as the kitchen just couldn't keep up. My partner had given up and gone on to the dessert buffet by the time his hastily cooked afterthought pasta finally arrived. I hope the head chef and his manager have now realised their limitations! Well done to the waiters and waitresses on the floor who took the brunt of it and managed the situation in the kitchen professionally and with bravour! Otherwise the food was great, especially the breakfasts! Nom nom nom!
The views, food, and convenience.
Not set up for singles/friends. Beds should be bigger (Doubles instead of twins). For friends/singles: Bathrooms shouldn't have see through/glass doors.
Everything was more than perfect!
This was my third stay Restaurant service was best this year Simply congragulations to the manager and team
Hot water in the outdoor pool and snow over mountains-great! Restaurant-perfect, delicious food.Nice winter tracks around.
Aqua Dome is an amazing hotel, with superb rooms and facilities. The piano(man) at the bar is nice for a lovely evening. Breakfast is excellent! The Spa 3000 for hotel visitors only is top.
First evening the hotel was too busy. Allthough the food is excellent we felt like sitting in a cafetaria because of the noice, the crowd and the buffet. Second evening was much better!
Helpful staff from maids to front desk. Excellent kitchen Wonderful physical plant
friendly staff, nearby lots of hiking trail, great spa, massage service, great pools, great restaurant with wonderful service. Scenic view from rooms, good value.
Spa service is a bit pricey, remoteness makes it easier for people driving or arriving in tour groups.
very friendly when travelling with babies; excellent service; clean rooms; friendly staff in hotel and Spa
Everything was perfect
The spa was amazing. It was beautiful, huge, fun, and the top floor was all glass overlooking the alps. The pools were wonderful and the water was really nicely warmed. The hotel was beautiful as well and the restaurant was very good.
Three fourths of the spa facilities were for nude people only. The most interesting and exciting parts were in the nude area.
The staff is very friendly. The accommodations are absolutely beautiful.
The service was below expectations.
perfect in all aspects
too much food that looks good but not as tasty as it looks.
An excellent hotel in an excellent location. The wellness area kept all its promises.
Room was great with terrific view. Nude sauna with honey and yoghurt was a great experience not something we would do at home or with friends though. Beauty treatments were great although expensive. Hiking around the local area was fantastic. Nearby Solden and a trip up the mountain on chair lift was well worth doing. Overall a great relaxing place for a few days or more if you can afford it.
Some meals were good, however one night was a poor quality smorgasbord, and another night the choice was between two exotic options. Suggest providing an advance choice change to chicken. Spa options were not as good as at Bad Worishofen
