Hotel need renovation

Its location is odd, staff not good, room was very close to the highway so lot of traffic noise. TVset was awkwardly placed. Takes nearly 40 minutes to reach the city center, the staff did not inform about commuting. Breakfast was bad. I did not carry my laptop and they did not have a single computer for visitors to browse internet. In all not worth.

Prime location, inside Shopping City Sud. Big parking in front, free of charge. Outdoor pool open during summer. Room big enough, clean. Breakfast is nice.

I haven't, but somebody could find it a bit noisy due to being next to highway. Wireless Internet could be cheaper, now it's € 2/hour.

Location is inside SCS shops area, free and convenient car parking, reasonable price.

The hotel is well placed near a shopping centre and it fittied my needs well since it has a outdoor breakfast area where smoking is possibile. Also it has a free parking right at the door of the hotel.

There was only one power plug in the room and it was not near a bed or table so charging both phone and laptop is let's say tricky. The internet does not work at the 4 th floor due to the low signal quality. I had to go down at the lobby several times to be able to send and receive my mails. As a plus at the end after I complained about the internet connection I did not have to pay for it. If you need to use internet in the room ask them to give you the room at second floor max.

hotel lobby was inviting. Nice Lobby bar, and dining area. Hotel staff is versed in basic English and wants to help. They made taxi reservations for me, followed up with phone call to them, wake up call was on time. no surprises from them. Hotel was quiet, and also had an additional exterior room door to block out any hallway noises. Location was excellent for what I wanted in the town of Modling.

no clocks in the room. My phones didn't have service in Austria, so never knew what time it was. Fortunately my son had some sort of a game that received world time. The same thing happened to me in Luxembourg, so may be a European thing.

Front desk personnel was very attentive and let me change the room right away due to a problem with the bathroom.

The hotel has definitely seen better times. The rooms and furniture look a bit worn, however, they were clean and the beds comfortable. Each room has a sofa and you can get an additional bed for a second child free of charge, although that does not leave a lot of space. There was also a problem with the TV which would turn off at random after about 45 minutes. I checked for a sleep timer but could not find one.

Ich habe dieses Hotel gebucht, da es lagemäßig sehr gut lag und preislich akzeptabel war. Als ich um 23.30 Uhr anreiste, war ich zu müde um gelich wieder kehrt zu machen, da ich am nächsten Tag bereits um 06000 aufstehen musste. Im Zimmer kam mir beim der Wand am Fenster der Putz entgegen. Im ganzen Zimmer gab es nur eine Steckdose, die zur Hälfte kaputt war. Die Decke der Sitzbank hatte Löcher (Motten?) und die Oberfläche der Möbel waren gesprungen. Der Fernseher hatte 7 Programme, die nur schlecht zu empfangen waren. Das Bett war wenigstens sauber. Aber in der Früh wollte ich eine Dusche nehmen und musste feststellen, dass die Dusch defekt war, man konnte nur baden. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß und schon gar nicht weiter zu empfehlen. Auch für das Internet zahlt man für einen Std 2,-.
