Bit noisy from the street at night. Double bed of 2 singles not properly tied together
Vienna is a beautiful city with lots to do. Cafes and street food were especially enjoyable.
Unfortunately some attractions not open in february
Breakfast was good
Walls are paper thin, had to listen to the people next door using the bathroom all night. Wifi in the room sucked, constantly was knocked off both on the computer and phone.
lovely room (the comfort tipe), excelent location, good breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
poor wifi, noise from the street.I asked for a room to the street, but next time I will try a higher floor as well
The Hotel was central, easy to find, very clean, great breakfast choice.
The room was very hot, but the staff had the heating turned down for us in our Bedroom, very efficient.
the location and the friendliness of the staff
poor bedquality; we asked for a kingsize bed and got two separate matrasses and two separate bedframes
Location Cleanliness Staff
Wi-Fi very intermittent
location, fridge in a room, water pressure, and a spacy room
no water boiler in a room, only 2 old elevators (takes time especially in the morning)
We enjoyed the helpful staff and the cleanlines. It was just X-mass and we had opportunity to be in contact on Internet with family. The PC was in the corner of lobby available for us. The stuff helped me to connect- I am computer iliterate .Hotel had nicely decorated Christmas tree.
Coming all the way from Canada Booking 6 months ahead .Our first moment looking out of the window- was very disapointing .view was to some corridor all we could see was pipes , windows and air condition pipes. It looked like inside of elevator chimney. Our bed was not comfortable, and rental car was parked to far from hotel.Every -time we like to use the car we have to pay to have it bring by stuff. They should tell this to us. Not when we are already in hotel checking in.
Location is perfect
Wifi was not reachable in our room
This hotel is perfectly located in central Vienna, allowing you an easy walk to great churches, galleries, museums and restaurants. The rooms are large enough and comfortable for a longer stay (we were there for 6 nights).
The hotel does not have a great food and beverage service (probably since great cafes, restaurants and bars are so close).
The good thing about this hotel is the location. The food is so so, it needs update.
The location of the hotel was perfect. We were at the heart of the city and we could do everything walking or using the subway . They have elevators what is pretty rair in Europe. The staff was very nice and helpful and the hotel was beautiful. The bar in the hotel was nice.
I heard to much noise in my room in the morning and it was difficult to sleep well. The daily cleaning was very superficial and sometimes it was hard to tell if it was clean or not. The breakfast wasn't included and it as 17 euros. The mirror in the room was way to small
Hotel location is excellent; staff is friendly and cooperative
Location is really good. Few steps and you are next to most famous sightseeing: Opera, Stephansdohm, etc. The building is nice and full of traditions. Free Internet is available in the rooms, not bad quality.
The rooms are old, beds are not comfortable at all. It takes 1 hour to take shower, as you have to be really professional to find good temperature and manage to wash yourself until it changes again. Bercfast is poor.
Excellent location, polite and smiling staff.
Arrived of the plane at 0530 hrs - at the hotel at 730 - off for breakfast and we checked in at 1130! Nice touch, front desk and concierge friendly.
On Christmas day and boxing day the market stalls were moved to the front of the hotel and dismantled from 5am on... No chance of sleeping in.
Great location. Friendly staff.
Room was rather small
It is very good hotel, good location and very friendly staff! I will stay in this hotel next my trip!
Authentic charm. It's easy to imagine what staying in Vienna might have been like in the 1920s. Ideal location. Very helpful and polite staff. This was our second time staying at the Astoria and we are already looking forward to our next stay there.
Free WiFi is always appreciated, but the signal strength in the room was very weak. For lite use - checking e-mail - it was sufficient, but for downloading material we had to sit in the lobby for a stronger signal.
Loved the location and the atmosphere. Really loved our stay here. Would definitely come back.
The hotel is in a good location and clean.
The first thing the front desk guy did when I was there, was throw a piece of paper at me to fill in. When I asked him what I needed to complete, he responded by saying "Jeez all you Australians are so lazy". I wasn't impressed. The walls are also not thick so you can hear the next room, which disturbs your sleep. The breakfast for 17€ is not even worth 1€ and the pillows are uncomfortable! My suggestion is stay elsewhere.
location, personnel, interior.
you can hear a lot of what happens in the next room or corridor
Bang in the middle of the innerstrasse, beautiful old building that has been tastefully redecorated. Very spacious and charming room and comfortable large bed - with a lovely view over Karlstrasse too. Excellent value for money.
Breakfast offered good variety but the quality was average. Free wifi may as well not be there as the reception in the room was terrible and made it basically unusable.
Staff, breakfasr, lovation
