The booking.com reservation did not make it explicit enough that the cleaning charge of 24 Euro charge is per person - which doubled essentially the rate for the night. I have to admit that whilst this not a fault of the hotel and it is great we left feeling rather cheated by someone. Even if it was mostly our own carelessness. However if the rate quoted is Euro 140 per night - this is what it should be - at the end it landed up (with city tax etc.) Euro 296. Not good.

We had a spacious design suite with two bedrooms and very nice mountains view. Hotel staff was extremely nice and happy to fulfill all our wishes. Minibar and Nespresso machine - all included in the price. Skiing slope and lift are very closed, across the streed. We also visited Tauern Spa, which is for free for guests of Auhof Hotel and were excited by Kaprun and its hospitality more and more. This was one of the best hotel we stayed in. We will certainly come back again.

My wife and I stayed at the Auhof for our honeymoon. Since we love snowboarding we heard so much about the mountains in Kaprun and Zell am See. Once we arrived we were not let down by this amazing place. It snowed 5 of the 6 days we stayed which was amazing. The last day we had the sun. The staff and the hotel were perfect for everything. It's located right off the bus stop. Near lot's of restaurants and bars. We had a "Style" apartment on the first floor that was great for cooking and relaxing when we were not out on the slopes. The hotel will also give you discounted spa tickets as well which we made good use of. I highly suggest anyone to stay at the Auhof and my wife and I are already planning our next trip back!

Es ist sehr praktisch, dass man sich in den Apartments des Auhofs zwar selbst verpflegen kann, sich aber im Haus auch ein Restaurant/Cafe befindet, in dem man ganz nach Lust und Laune frühstücken oder zu Abend essen kann. Besonders auffallend ist die herzliche Gastfreundschaft, die einem hier entgegengebracht wird.

In het hotel/appartement was het rustig. Goede verwarming in de diverse ruimten apart te regelen. Alles op loopafstand, zoals winkels, bus en dalstation. de Overboeking!! We hebben een kleiner appartement gekregen (44 m)Nachtelijke onrust buiten.

Top accomodatie op een top locatie! Direct aan de skipiste en naast de bushaltes die je binnen een paar minuten naar de hogere gebieden brengt. Appartementen zijn ruim en mooi/modern ingericht. Gratis toegang tot ondergrondse prive parking.
