Just steps from the Nestroyplatz Underground Station, Das Capri is 2 stops from Saint Stephen’s Cathedral in the center of Vienna. The Prater Amusement Park is a 10-minute walk away.

Over 400 years old, the elegant Hotel Stefanie is the oldest hotel in Vienna. It has free Wi-Fi access and a breakfast buffet. The Schwedenplatz metro station is 320 yards away.

From the moment we arrived the staff were all very helpful. Hotel well positioned for underground and restaurants.
Although there are two metro stations and one train station close, it is a little far from the old City center for a walking tour.
- very courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staff, especially at check-in/reception desk -hotel has been recently completely renovated, with great attention to respecting its unique history -very comfortable, newly renovated ( upgraded ) room, overlooking quiet courtyard off street -very adequate buffet breakfast service
-area around hotel a bit tired-looking
The staff was excellent. Christoph went above and beyond to welcome us, answer our questions, and provide useful information regarding the city and metro system.
The location was good, just near the Praterstern. Two minutes from the underground station and S-Bahn. Breakfast in the hotel was sumptuous. A very wide choice in comfortable surroundings. Staff were extremely pleasant.
Creaking floorboards in the bedroom.
We had an overnight stay in Vienna and happily decided to spend it in the city instead of at an airport hotel. This hotel was a great choice - excellent location away from the busy center yet easy to get there for an evening stroll. The staff at the desk were friendly and very helpful! The room and the breakfast and decor were wonderful. Thank you Hotel Wien!!
well located - next to train station
a bit pricey for what it offered
Good location and easy to get around. Few mins walk from Praterstern station and approx 20mins by one train, no change, from the airport. 4-5 supermarkets around the hotel. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Nice and clean room. Clean toilet.
Room closed to the garage can be noisy during the evening.
Excellent staff - great customer service.Very attentive.
No tea making facilities Some noise from traffic
Nice position near the train station and metro, clean room, very fast check-in and out! Breakfast quite OK.
The lights from outside penetrated our draperies during the night.
Clean, convenient location, walking distance to downtown and Prater, easy access to transportation if you don't like to walk, great breakfast
We stayed in a room advertised for 4, but there were 2 proper beds and then some 2 pull-out chairs which were turned into beds and those were not comfortable
The breakfast was fantastic. Dedicated bike garage was very helpful. Daytime staff was helpful. Courtyard rooms are indeed quiet, if you can get one. The decor was clean and pleasant yet keep in mind the hotel is furnished to Austrian modern hotel (efficiency) and does not have the historic character of the facade. I'm not a fan of this bland look but it does beat the international chains (which look identical in every country).
We were put into a Praterstrasse (one of the noisiest transport arteries in Vienna, with all night traffic) room despite specifically asking for courtyard in our booking. Courtyard rooms were promised as available in the description. When we got to the hotel Friday night, the weekend and evening receptionist (an older Czech guy) refused to move us without a substantial upgrade (€30). In the end, we had to make him call the manager. I would have paid for the upgrade had the room been larger/better the room was almost identical (slightly better bathroom). This conflict marred our one night stay to see friends from out of country (who had pre-booked the hotel). If I'd known that we would have to fight for a courtyard room, we would just not have booked the hotel at all and gone home to sleep. Optimistically, I don't think the daytime reception/managers would have given us that kind of grief. Hopefully the managers will give some better weekend/evening guidelines in the future to make sure guests can get a good night's sleep without a big hassle.
Very good hotel in a perfect location, close to metro U1 and U2 and to the S-Bahn. You can reach the city centre in few minutes. Nice and helpful staff; clean and spacious rooms; rich breakfast.
The staff were very helpful ,pleasant and friendly. They went out of their way to get us tickets to a show.
We were at the hotel for two nights in Vienna in August. The cleanest hotel I have ever been !!! Excellent breakfast. Very close to the Prater Park - walking Metro is very close to - there is no need for a car.
small rooms family of 2 +2 to classic furniture for us
PEOPLE THAT WORK IN THE HOTEL WERE VERY ATTENTIVE TO OUR NEEDS AND GREAT LOCATION.
Liked the small labby bar Liked the breakfast Liked the location Staff
The room was clean, breakfast is good and varied and hotel staff polite and helpful. Easy and cheap to get to and from the airport on the S7.An overall worthwhile stay! :-)
Friendly staff, location near station
The staff were very helpful. The room was good.
The hotel is very near the Riesenrad which is good but about a kilometer from the old town. However its a short walk to the Metro and two stops to the centre.
Location is excellent - near to station with direct train to airport, walking distance of the centre of town, close to amusement part/big wheel A/C Free internet Quad room was actually a small suite (i.e. separate bedroom for our two children)
Rooms not the biggest
Very good breakfast Very good location The staff were very helpful and friendly We enjoyed our stay without any hick-ups!
One of the few hotels on our visit abroad where we did not experience anything negatively. Well organised and well run Hotel.
Staff is very kind and polite.
The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room, like the rest of the hotel was extremely clean and well kept. I enjoyed the breakfast although my daughter would have preferred a greater choice of hot food. Wonderful location, close to underground and station with link to the airport.
I did not dislike anything at all.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet, and the location (2 stops from the centre of Vienna) very convenient. And the breakfasts were great!
