Austria Trend Hotel Schillerpark  

We stayed for 3 nights, bedroom was spacious and comfortable.

Breakfast/parking was not included in price per night so would have increased cost by a substantial amount. I feel that parking should have been free but because it was the weekend we could park on street after 18.30 - 08.00. I have stayed in similar hotels in Belgium with breakfast/parking included so maybe hotel owners should offer free parking and reduce the price of breakfast as 16.50euro is a bit steep.

It was really great place for spending weekend in the city centre. The room was clean and comfortable.

Very nice place,percfectly located. Good internet conecction, fantastic breakfast!!!!! .....parking couldn't be any better. We would be back there anytime.

Great location,quite good facilities,friendly staff and last but not least our rooms can't be better ( large rooms like suites with sofa,chairs,desk, bathrooms with both shower and bath, 2 wash basins,telephone and also music inside).Exactly a value for money hotel

Located in the heart of Linz, it gives the advantage to access the cultural sights, pubs and restaurants. A real 4 star hotel

The rooms are poorly noise insulated.

I am never disappointed with Austria Trend hotels. Hotel Schiller Park is no exception. I enjoyed my stay and the staff at reception and in the bar/ restauraunt were friendly, and were exceedingly helpful. Totally satisfied, when in Linz again that is where I will stay.

No complaints

The location was great for us, clöse to all sights we wanted to see and our relatives and the ice hockey rink. We were here mostly to visit our nephew and wife and to watch the Black Wings, but really enjoyed the beautiful city and being able to walk to most of the sights we wanted to see.

Some of the staff were not able to tell us in English what the different museums were.Other than that we were very happy.We also thought the breakfast was a little pricey but other cafes are really close.

The location was good and the room was clean and spacious.

We ordered a non-smoking room and were given a "nonsmoking room" on a nonsmoking floor. However the corridor reeked of stale cigarette smoke and the room as well. We told the reception clerk that it was very unpleasant. The room was large but shabby

We got a good rate through Booking.com and were particularly happy with my husband's and my room/suite. The room for the our children and grandchildren was, oddly, smaller, but still pleasant. Our son and his wife enjoyed the chance to escape to the casino in the hotel.

The location is good - 8-9 mins walk from rail station - and right next door to casino if that spins your boat, Front desk staff (Michael) very helpful when I left something elsewhere. V. close to the bottom end of the main Landstrasse shops. 10Mins to Danube & Lentos & Ars Electronica galleries. Reasonable value for what it was and the city.

In summary a somewhat boring basic business hotel. Breakfast I did not buy as 16e is way too expensive. The aircon only seems to work when you put it on manual full blast - on auto nothing happens so quite stuffy in room. The safe will fit a netbook only and not my 13.3in. Laptop, so only good for small valuables. No toiletries to speak of - other than showercap and sewing kit - otherwise only liquid soap which I thought was below average. Wifi instructions way out of date - you can only login on German language page and not English one,
