The hotel is located in the immediate vicinity of the "Schönbrunn Palace" and is surrounded by a park. The imperial atmosphere of bygone days together with modern facilities and friendly service make the hotel unique in the city of Vienna.

The hotel owns one of the few preserved classic ballrooms in Vienna with a unique ambience in which numerous traditional balls take place.

The 'Schönbrunner Schlosscafé' offers delicious pastries and typical Viennese coffee specialties. Aromatic teas, small snacks and refreshments as well as daily newspapers and magazines await you. In the summer you can enjoy the terrace.

The restaurant 'Jägerstüberl' pampers you with classical Austrian cuisine in a traditional atmosphere, ideal for a business lunch or dinner or small private celebrations.

Bar:
The hotel bar 'Bijou' awaits you for a refreshing drink during the day or for a nightcap to finish the day. The bar can also be used for receptions.

390 rooms and 4 suites offer a wide choice, from the Emperor's Suite to elegant rooms in traditional style to modern business rooms in compliance with international four star standards.
All rooms are equipped with bath/WC, hair dryer, TV, Pay-TV, telephone and minibar. Choose between three different categories:
Deluxe rooms in the main house - spacious rooms partially furnished with original furniture with imperial flair
Business rooms: newly equipped rooms in the style of Schönbrunn, which additionally offer a desk with modem link, a sofa and a safe.
Standard rooms: comfortable rooms with many amenities and a warm atmosphere, partial view of the garden.

Area information

The hotel is located in immediate vicinity of Schönbrunn Palace in the district 'Hietzing'. The entrance to the park of the castle with its various entertainment possibilities and the zoo of Schönbrunn is directly opposite the hotel. The city center can be reached by underground U4 in about 8 minutes, the station 'Hietzing' is only across the street.

The location is very good, near Schonbrunn and near U4 underground which takes you directly to the city center.

The staff is unfriendly, the rooms are furnished with old furniture, the cleaning lady shows up every other day; it is definitely not a four star hotel.

Except the fact that the hotel was a little bit old every thing else was good: the staff, food, service and for me, as I was alone, the location was very very good.

I was disappointed. It is not a 4star hotel at all. (at least the room where I stayed) The wall was molded in next to the bathroom... but at least it was clean.

The hotel is really good. For me it was strage - the hotel is buatiful, location is good as well, but some of the rooms need repairing. System of discounts is attractive, really atractive, still your butiful Palace should be improved! At least, some of the rooms

I have stayed in Parkhotel Schonbrunn with my nephew and his parents due to scheduled visit in akh. I appreciate a short distance between the Parkhotel and zoo (which my nephew was about to see) and the U-station Hietzing as well. We indulge a willage-like atmosphere nearby Am Platz and flair of the Parking is also suitable.

The tv set and signal was not of a good quality in my room.(N.375)

Staff was very helpful and even changed my room for a smoking one for free, after using the shower and sheets in the first one.
