The location in the mountains is spectacular and at the time we stayed walking in the village a delight with window boxes and wild flowers. The residents were delightfully welcoming.

The view is just incredible! It reaaly close to Patzchkofel ( ski center). There is a bus stop 100 mts from the hotel. The bath room could be renovated and in the restaurant they let smoke and is very uncomfortable for non smoking people and children.

The food was fantastic. The hotel had a really warm and friendly feel to it. It felt lke getting "home" at the end of the day. Smoking in the bar / restaurant. This though appears to be a general Austrian problem.

The husband and wife that managed (owned?) the hotel were wonderful people - very cordial, friendly, and helpful in providing local tourist destination ideas, since I had absolutely no itinerary planned out ahead of time. Plus, the dinner I had there was absolutely delicious! The one night I didn't eat there, I went to the next village down the road and ate at a sort of bar/hof, and when I told the gentleman behind the counter that I was staying at Hotel Bär a couple km up the road, even he mentioned about how good the food was at the hotel restaurant there.

We thought the Hotel Bar was fantastic for our group of 5. The views are amazing, the owners extremely friendly, and the food was great. They even gave us perfect information for our trip to Salzburg and what roads to take to see the best views (instead of the Toll road). A golf course was very near by in the mountains which my son and I will never forget.

This mountain hotel has a spectacular location and is very close to Innsbruck. The room was very clean.The owners are very friendly and the restaurant is excellent. It is recommended.

Excellent staff, great food, terrific views from the terrace, and only 2 minutes from the motorway.Also only 2 minutes from the cable car which takes you to 2,500 metres from where even the planes landing at the Airport look very small.

The location was in a small village and the view was amazing. The hotel restaurant had great food and the prices were unbeatable. One of the cheapest yet best meals we've had on our 3 week trip. Wi-fi was available in the rooms. The tv had plenty of channels. The furniture was dated but it gave the place character. Everything was very clean. Plenty of space for parking. Had an elevator. No AC but was fine when we opened the windows and used our fan that we brought.

The location was out of this world, and the food was fantastic. No air conditioning in room, plastic seats on balcony not good when really hot. Could have been more forth coming with information about hotel and services available, only found out about a lake nearby when we were about to leave.

good location, nice view to the valley with highway in the distance problem with hot water in the shower, very poor pressure. I got two double rooms instead of quadruple room

There are amazing views from the dining room and the staff was friendly. Not specific to this location, but smoking inside near the dining area really puts a damper on breakfast.

The breathtaking view from the room and the restaurant was the best thing for us. It was very relaxing taking our breakfast and seeing that. Also, the staff was very very helpful and lovely. We appreciated so much spending time talking with the owner of the hotel about her life and her hotel.

Room was good, comfortable. Had adjoining room with children which worked out well for us. Free Wifi. Staff great. Food in dining room was suburb! Room window would not open. Not a problem in Jan, although relatively warm out, would be a problem in summer.

The staff were phenomenal, we had quite an issue with our car and getting stuck while we were guests, and they did everything they could to help us out. They even called their personal service to come out and help! I have never seen such hospitality in my life. The room was very nice with an amazing view. The bar and facilities are gorgeous and it was very reasonably priced. Its only a few minutes from Old Town Innsbruck, and just a very lovely and warm family place. I loved every second that we stayed there, even with our issues. It made us appreciate that people can just be genuinely nice to one another.

The dinner meal was homemade and great value for money. The food was very tasty and the views of the mountains were particularly beautiful. The service was very friendly and efficient. Rustic charm and authentic country hotel. As non smokers we could smell smoke in the bedrooms and pillows. Non smoking dinner room needed to be a separate room for meals, away from smoking area. Travelling with two older children and they slept on a mattress on the floor in the second bedroom was not a family room.

Un hôtel sympathique, dans une ambiance autrichienne, avec une belle vue sur les montagnes, possibilité de bus appréciable pour aller à Innsbruck, trajet de 20 minutes environ (arrêt de bus devant l'hôtel jusqu'au centre ville). Accueil très chaleureux de l'hôtesse, polyglotte : ses conseils sur les excursions ont été les bienvenus. Notre chambre était spacieuse avec vue montagne et balcon. Le petit-déjeuner et diner sont de qualité et copieux. La salle de bain mériterait une petite rénovation.
